That's got me thinking, by now I would be in "delete everything" mode if I were New Sun. Just shredding files and wiping hard drives like I was after the world record for quickest disposal of dirty laundry. We're going to have to split up once we get there, with one group going down into the dark to fight monsters and rescue hostages and another going up to wrangle the office drones and secure all that no doubt useful information.


Yep, I actually planned to send Spectrum and you up to the New Sun Skyscraper, because there's less killing and more lifesaving to be done there.

"Sorry, Owlman," said Cedric to the man, placing his hand on the other Meta's shoulder. The head of the International Heroes evidently sensed The Owlman's discomfort. "It's just that...they hurt those who desire peace, they hurt those who are dear to me, those who are under my protection. How am I supposed to act when faced with such cruelty?"

"But I'll modify my orders," he continued. "It's your discretion whether to use Lethal Force or not."

How long should Eli and Olivia be out for?


Several hours; a full sleep (7 - 8 hours) would be optimal, but if you want Eli to participate, you can have him awaken through heroic willpower.

@Letter Bee That's my assumption based on personal bias of Cedric's actions, you know better than me if he is. I also haven't added Sebastian to the tab because I'm posting from my 2DS. I'll have it up sometime tomorrow.


Ah, I didn't intend for Cedric to have more than a healthy Ego, but intent isn't the same as application.

@Letter Bee Sebastian wouldn't be so noble as to fight Cedric on equal terms(unless forced to), and if Sebastian ever does end up going after Cedric, he'd never let Cedric know he was an enemy. Sebastian is a man of many faces and a silver toungue, and people with big ego's are the easiest for him to ensnare.

So I sent a powerful fire blast at Jaden, then using more fire I got out of the way. Jaden landed where I was and now the clone wants to fight Jaden right?

Nah, it's fine. Him killing Jaden is thought without properknowledge of his abilities(though he could definitely injured him) and Jaden isn't going to pursue. This entire thing is on Isabella's head for shooting Olivia, thus nixing any time for preparation of the Reformist Council and causing them to lose a good chunk of her forces to Eli. I see Isabella as a Cersei Lannister-type, a smart woman who believes she is always the smartest person around, whether or not that's true is irrelevant, as that arrogance leads to rash decisions. Like causing a war two weeks in advance.


And that makes the story much more enjoyable.
