"All right!" Eden said eagerly, before considering his moves. Chess was also something that flash-teaching had barely taught him, so he had to be careful. However, military strategy was something he knew slightly more about. He had to be careful; the opportunity to move first encouraged recklessness; he knew that much from Chess.
With a gesture, using his own biomass-controlling powers - turning into a tree was his primary power, not his only one - he used his two moves on his land to designate two of his creatures as his 'reserves', and a third one to act as a 'bait', moving it into a position where it can believably threaten one of Jaden's castles, but at the same time making sure that any attackers would be instantly mobbed by his reserves.

More stuff; how should I end Consty's involvement in the plot? I brought him back to give Cedric some character development, but, well, now that Cedric's dead, he's pretty redundant. However, I don't want to kill him off anticlimactically, either.

Before anyone says anything, Gia's not here to provide a Deus ex Machina, before or after the beach arc ends. She and Consty are just here to provide Loki with something to do.

Yeah, I know you want Eden to be intelligent but he feasibly wouldn't know about it. Some characters can only really sense something's wrong because their powers afford them such a privilege but as of now, I only have one character that can definitively say that it's not real and that character is currently being drafted up by Mass City. That character knows because their powers relate to it but Eden only has aging and the tree-power thing!
I get ya. I just thought Jaden knew as well; that's why I had Eden know.
