@Raijinslayer: I guess that kind of explains? The calling of spirits by a mage uses spells, naturally. Onmyouji techniques allow for the creation of shikigami using spirits but I'd go for a mage.

Okay...I have a duty to give you guys something else other than the weak excuse narrated above. Basically, there were deeper problems in the RP that led to me eventually losing interest:
Basically, the main problem was that I skimped on worldbuilding outside of exposition, in an RP about travelling to several separate constructed worlds. This was evident in 'Reign of the Confederacy', where we don't see much of the world beyond a plantation and its mansion. Not merely that, but I also failed to give you guys the chance to pitch in and fill in the holes of my current setting because I insisted on having the plot be advanced through a constant series of fights - Heartless>Seekers>Enemy Gummi Cruiser. I failed to give everyone a chance for character development, I failed to color in a potentially interesting world, and I constantly put in fight after fight until the RP became nothing more than that.
That said, though, I'm glad you guys enjoyed the game, and I hope that we can enjoy more RPs in the future.
