Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

@kishin asura, is Osamu becoming too powerful/capable?
@Letter Bee @kishin asura @ShadowVentus @Tyki

"Of course....." Cornwall begins, before appearing before Osamu, holding out his hand. "Deal...?" He asks, with a smirk. "Just shake my hand..and I'll do it right away. I'll even revive your fallen soldiers as an upside." He says, drooling. "I simply will tell you, I'm going to ask for a lot of that soul essence....so delish, especially as there is so much more when there is fear, or misery..." he mutters, his hunger getting the better of him. It was driving him mad, how the thought of that essence would taste. So much so, he got ahead of himself, throwing in a bargian.
((Reanimation is what we talked bout in the pm. The deamon thing.))

Everyone can begin to feel the evil powers at work, even across the universes, safe for Kevin, and Minx, Illydel blocking it with her pure innocence aura.

"Here's the Magical Biometrics so you can turn me into a Shin Megami Tensei demon instead of the Usual Kind of Demon," Osamu brought out a pen and notebook from his shirt pocket and wrote the relevant data, then gave Cornwall the note and some time to look at it. Then, he took Cornwall's hand.

"Demi-Fiendship, here I come!"

A flash of light and fire, and Osamu's body was now covered in intricate, blue-green striped tatoos that ran vertically to his arms, neck, and now-bare chest; his shirt, undershirt, and vest had been burned away when the bargain was struck. There was also a small horn growing at the nape of the 18-year old's neck.

"Well," spoke Osamu, "seems like the bargain was successful. I have Demi-Fiend Powers now!"

"I hope you still maintain your magi-technological genius and power over extended rituals," Horus remarked.

In the meantime, Takeru and Hikari, having evolved Patamon and Gatomon into HolyAngemon and Angewomon, teleported to the skies above Tokyo, with Takeru saying:

"You know, if Osamu the Second hadn't cured Patamon and the other Digimon of that infection, as well as saved our Digital World, I would be trashing his ass right now."

"I can agree," said Hikari, who was riding on Angewomon's shoulder, just as Takeru rode on HolyAngemon's. "At least he's not hurting anyone, though."

"Darkness and Negative Powers aren't toys," Takeru grumbled. "He should learn that lesson soon."

@AcerRo, I just graduated from online university - the ceremony was offline, though. Want to talk more on Skype?
Triple-post:

If it requires an extended action and takes up a lot of time, Osamu can do it unless it's continent-destroying or higher.
@Tyki@supertinyking:

"Okay, Cornwall," spoke Osamu Akiyama, "I am prepared to accept your bargain, provided that I know precisely what will happen."

((Osamu is told information I was already told through PM.))

"Wait, demonization?!" Osamu was incredulous. "I already have a ritual for that, and it's not going to give me a vulnerability to holy stuff!" Osamu didn't add that he was going to have to buy time if he was going to go with that, but he still felt shortcharged.

"Hmm...if I give you the Magical Biometrics, can you turn me into another type of Demon from another universe? I have to admit that my own ritual will take at least a few hours..." This was both a conciliatory gesture to Cornwall and an indirect admission that the Original Setting!Demon still had something to offer...
Angry not at you, but at myself.
@SMS, thanks!
@Tyki, well, @supertinyking suggested a countermove over PM, but Osamu going along with that would cost him Takeru and Hikari's support.

So I'm angry now.
@Letter Bee

They've actually been bringing his character back for the latest season since they're thinking about ending it :V

Either way, the person doesn't change the universe. I personally prefer the mangas over the anime due to a depth and more mature take on the universe. i.e. the lady that took a bath with her tentacool, zombie pokemon, actual death, etc.

1.) Yes!

2.) On the one hand, point. On the other hand, one can argue that the first season was a different universe from the later seasons, if only due to inconsistencies with it. Plus, one should remember that Osamu Akiyama only brought characters from the first season along - aka people who Ash eventually got to respect their Pokemon.
@Letter Bee

however, there's the issue of that fluxuating so i guess it's up to personal preference. mine is for pikachu to be female so menh. Outside of that, the only point at which ash cared about earning the respect of his pokemon was in the first season, all later seasons were pretty much "you wanna be strong like us? then do what i say" plus, there are occasions when trainers force pokemon to do what they say even on the rare occasion that they don't like each other. This is, of course, not thinking about the fact that ash may very well already be dead after the first episode's lightning strike, a very popular theory and one i personally support just simply because IT'S BEEN ROUGHLY 12 YEARS AND HE'S STILL 12. Outside of that, you're still left with the issue that pokemon just suddenly lose all forms of agency in the anime, and alot of them are trapped in their pokeballs for untold amounts of time and only able to come out for plot convenience or to do battle with other pokemon, that doesn't help their psyche at all. Now, even if you can discount all of that and more, there's still the fact that gym badges are supposed to be able to help you control more powerful pokemon. I see no reason this would be neccessary if the pokemon were, in fact, acting of their own accord and listening to you out of free will.

True, but my headcanon for this RP is that the events of the later seasons are only a dumbed-down version of what really happened, and that Ash had been acting like First Season Ash all along, it just didn't get illustrated. Basically, the Ash Osamu Akiyama acted may be an idiot, but did not suffer the decay in characterization of later seasons...
