I've been interested in joining too, and would also like to do a mechanical kaiju gijinka, like what @Holy Grail wants to do. It's not a metal gear, though.

EDIT: Whoops, just read one of @Lmpkio's posts that I think said custom kaiju/mecha not from any particular series are not allowed. Did I miusnderstand, or is this true?

Misunderstood you did not! I mean... if Metal Gears and Evangelions are allowed like the Tokastu Mechs, then sure! Let's see what you have in mind.

1). Interesting choice. I suppose they can work, and while I hadn't played them much either, from what I've seen like those of Rex and Sahelanthropus, it could work. May or may not need a separate branch. Send me a profile and I'll look it over for review.

2). No problem! There's no rush. At this point, I should get started by tomorrow or Tuesday. I say this because Im just coming out of being sick and I need to catch up on work. But it'll be starting soon!

I mean, this rp does take place in a universe where the omnic crisis happened back in the 70's and future tech is attainable in 2017. I had the same initial reaction, but if Reaper has a daughter, Morrison has a son, Hana is Jack's son's adopted sister, and junkrat cares about other people I wouldn't say it's all that crazy to have a black Reinhardt. ...Also, it's Idris Elba. You can't say no to Idris Elba.

Also, while I'm here, does anyone have a claim on Zenyatta yet? If not, I wouldn't mind taking a whack at the omnic cinnamon roll

Oh Im not saying its crazy, Im just calling it interesting really. Was expecting the original look, but this will definitely do just fine. All we need now... is a Doomfist. :P And like I said, I like Ibris Elba so... no complaints here.

I believe no... but IF you claim him. Make him SASSY AS POSSIBLE. Examples? Certainly:

Been looking into a couple of forums to possibly join as of late, this one being the second, though i don't want to jump the gun to quick before asking a few questions about this roleplay so i can think things over. I do find the concept of this roleplay to be very interesting as well! :)

At any rate, time for the questions:

1. Is there a posting limit for this roleplay, such having to post once a week or such? If so, what is it and what speed do you think the roleplay will move at?

2. Do you primarily want custom or canon kaiju for the roleplay, or does that bit not matter?

3. Would you ever consider allowing those who might post slower at a rate of "once or twice as week" into the roleplay, or would that be too slow for things?

Please feel free to hop in! We need all the people that we can get! Of course, I shall answer your questions accordingly:

1). Yeah one or twice a week should be fine. The old RP seemed to have gone a little too quickly for some, only stagnating for the last time due to the unexplained absences of several players. Here, it'll be more relaxed and casual. Posting will basically be that all players should post once after my initial post, just so everyone is on the same page. Once everyone has posted, I'll post the next part. If someone doesn't post in a week or so, unless they provide a valid excuse on when they'll be coming back, I'll be forced to post without them and move on.

2. That bit doesn't truly matter. In fact, I recommend one plays at least one of each, but thats perfectly OK if you want to post just an OC or just a canon character. As long as it comes from a kaiju series or mech-anime/animated series (like Evangelion), and as long as the character a gijinka.

3. I basically answered that question in the first answer, which is a yes :)

Just a reminder, @DracoLunaris@Pathfinder@Gutshot@Skull, (Should've done this originally), just add the size of your Kaiju or Mech's Maximum Sizes just for visual reference really. Look back this page or at my characters or @dragonmancer's for reference.

At this point, I'll announce the plans on how the IC will go.

Before the 1st Arc, there's gonna be an intro prologue. This prologue is mostly to demonstrate your character's strength and such on the battlefield. Hence there will be several battles taking place around the world, with two confirmed places being Tokyo and Monster Island. There'll be a place of calm and dialogue scenes first, but then it'll eventually lead to said battles. The rest are up to you really. I'll say one or two other locations depending on how many join in one spot. And the battles can be hybridized as well, like some battles start in human form but then up to kaiju form, or some just take place in human or kaiju forms exclusively. It all depends really.

So place your bets and where you'd want to start. We'll hopefully start tomorrow or somewhere this week. Aiming for... Tuesday or Wedensday if not Sunday.

I thought about that and I thought it would be easier to scale it with the letter grade ranking, but yeah an approximate size would work better.

It's a good system, yes, but I feel that being more approximate with sizing will determine better on visual perspective. You can keep that in if you want, just add the approximate sizes to each form.

(Same applies to everyone else and their characters)
