So on a random note are you guys more active or less active over the weekend? Always nice to know who's more active when after all!

I'm always watching....
<Snipped quote by Legion02>

Actually in hind sight, won't Valkyrie Air Strike harm the Celestial Lion after it is summoned? I'm sure Holy resists Holy, but if the Lion comes first that's going to hurt. If it comes after, there probably won't be much left for the Lion to maul.

Just wondering the order of events, cause I think Azazel started his spell before the Raziel called for the Valkyries, so I was contemplating the order with which it would happen...Cause bombing the Celestial Lion to death is one hell of an egg on Azazel's face.

I'd imagine that the angels actually have some form of millitary operation protocol and orgnization, or not stupid enough to lanch a laser at an allie summon. Plus, they are aiming for the Demon hoards. They actually plan to attempt and attack on the last know location of the Elicitor. If they miss they miss, they just want to do damage.
When I saw all the accepted characters, I was scared, to many people. Thankfully realized it was just the GM's. You have my interest.

<Snipped quote by LokiLeo789>

Considering an entire leg is lost, yeah I'd say that would slow down the Elicitor.

^^
@LokiLeo789
Err I even confirmed with a GM that it is completely covered in ground when I made like my first post ._.. Also I would assume if it starts "diggin" it would retract its arms anyways and has some sort of drill mechanism or whatever? It doesn't make much sense for me any other way, the arms are way too...puny...to become a mole!

And GM also confirmed that it wouldn't be deep underground also. And a whole arm was destroyed, thats one less arm drill thing. Man cant have a contingency for every mishap. It also wasn't mentioned, so adding that confuses everything, or somethings. Also, If you drill into the ground, you dont automatically get and shield of earth, there will be a gaping whole left behind, we were told it drilled straight down.

@LokiLeo789

Wait what? You realize if that was the case, that'd change a lot of things about what exactly Grafdakka did. He wouldn't have sacrificed an arm or jumped off the Elicitor if it wouldn't have been able to tunnel away from him, and change a lot about the weapons that would now be firing at the angels since they're still there to fight.

Why are you telling me? Edit it and ill edit accordingly, or make a new post. I'll reread over the IC when I'm bored anyway. The one sentence that was ignored, creates such a pile up of edits. Even so, you still would have to account for the super bolt. The old way you dealt with it, wont work again in this scenario. Still might lose and arm.

Raziel, The Holy Bolt

~BGM~

Raizel's severed arm began to ache as he gazed about the battlefield, the deck of the Elicitor. The world around him appeared like hell on Earth; the grass no longer showing due to the torrential rain, bombs and shells attacking it through the day and night. Clouds closing in on him, threatening to suffocate him in their glum, grey state. All the nerves in his body begged and pleaded for him to stop. Mercy no longer an option. Even as the relief started to replace his ever-growing anxiety, his voice relentlessly rose, filling the thick atmosphere, yelling our orders. Dirt, soil and soot began to mock him, slowly climbing higher and higher up as the Elicitor attempted to sink deeper.

Hundreds of angel, demon, and machina lay about, lifeless. The living, barely numbered in the forties, truly a sad outcome. Firmly grasping his blades hilt, Raizel had to come to terms with the situation. They had lost. It wouldn't have been practical for them to continue the fight, not with the remaining forces. If they pushed on, they would die, if they pulled out, they ran the risk of possibly being obliterated in thier next confrontation. The mission had been to retrieve the artifact, if the machina or the demons got thier vile hands on it, no doubt it would spell defeat for the angels in the long run.

Raizel would have to make a hard decision, and it was in fact, the most plausible one he could come up with under the current circumstances. He would fall on a simple combat doctrine; Scorched Earth.

With his mind undoubtedly made up, Raizel took to the air. Confused, the surviving angels followed him with grim determination. No doubt this battle would scar them, and harden them. Raizel expected to leave the enormous whole and find silence, instead, he found himself grinning at the bombardment of holy magic that was fired at the demon hoards, the hoards who were long since abounded. In the sky above, Lord Magnus floated, weaving a complex spell of holy destruction.

"Glorious." Raizel mumbled to himself as he gazed in awe at the archangels' ingenuity. That initiative pushed Raizel forward, forcing himself to fly ever faster to reach the heavens. The sky was a blanket of grey, like a great grey carpet, for the destructive shells of man had darkened the sky all the more.

Standing right were he left them were dozens of Valkyrie staring solemnly, as the events had demoralized them greatly. Raizel couldn't have that. "My lord, what is your wish." a Valkyrie murmured, attempting to hid her dissatisfaction for the battle. The general stood silently for a few seconds, could he do this? Yes, yes he could. "Take courage my daughters, for the judgment of the heavens shall be swift upon out enemies. We will make a reply to the ones who are taunting us, with the holy light of the sky's!" Raizel proclaimed. Instantly, understanding dawned upon the legion, and instantly they broke off.

In the clouds directly above the Elicitor, the Valkyrie division formed a circle, lances pointing at the metal fortress, engulfed in divine energy. It was only a matter of time before the destructive force of the heavens rained upon the Elicitor. Raizel would watch for atop a thunderous cloud, as a cherub tended to his arm.

@Legion02
Whomever is outside to see this.

Everyone, we're not underground, better yet, we're bo that far. The Elicitor lost a leg, so digging is gonna be difficult. At this point, maybe about a few hundred feet down, but still plainly visible, if not that far at all.
Ramshackle

Reaper Man and Mute would find it amazing how quickly Yruzza was able to get his team to thier designated spot. Better yet, the spot he though was best. Yruzza knew Vegas like the back of his hand, and drove like so. Back at the hideout, he had opted out of drinking from Mute's thermos, simply saying
"I don't like drinks in thermos'. I do have a plan, just follow my lead." He would take into consideration her suggestions though. Yruzza was always dressed for success, that's what he liked to call it.

Yruzza was clad in a black hoodie with black cargo jeans, and black sneakers. Jordan's. Underneath them all, was stashed a plethora of weapons, blades to be specific. On his back, was strapped 2 straight cleavers, under his armpits and along his ribs sat 8 throwing knives, 4 on each side. In his hoodie pocket, sat a folding knives, another was hidden his back pocket. Under his jeans, was hidden his desert eagle, specifically on the right leg, and on the left, was hidden 4 more throwing knives. Yruzza had a thing for blades, he found them easier than his hands.

Ramshackle had opted out of used a van, calling it stupid and cliche, and opted for a simple red family van, begging for them to use it. He had felt that it would make for them to use it that was all, mostly because of where he chose to park. The Trump Hotel was built in an unusual spot. The building faced the north, away from the strip, which was even worse since it was far enough from the action of downtown. In front of the building, was a massive dirt lot, which was just bad choice in location on Trumps part. To the southeast of the building was the Fashion Show mall, and to the southeast was either a strip club, or porn emporium, he couldn't tell from where he sat.

Team Reaper, Mute, and Ramshackle would fake a car break down near the hotel, specifically on Desert Inn, a highway bridge that sat in front of the tower, or a few hundred feet away. Bad positioning on Trumps part once again. Unfortunately, this would have been perfect for team Yruzza, if the man could tell the difference between reality and dream. For all he knew, this could have been a whole mental rant on what should have been done, and he was still being offered the thermos from Mute back at the meeting room. He couldn't tell, his life-saving clarity of mind, had vanished completely.

Unfortunately, it was true, reality came and smacked Yruzza in the face again, he was in fact still in meeting room. Slightly peeved by the fact that Mute chose to address Reaper instead of him, Yruzza took to his feet. "I don't want your drink lady, no time for that. I have a plan, and disguises are defiantly going to play a part." he jibbed, laughing at the unusual irony of it all. Was it irony? What was irony again? Couldn't remember. "To the vans!" he proclaimed, walking out the door with the rest of the killers, knife waving dangerously in he air. Right along side Maja.

Maja? Who was that again, a woman. He had killed a woman before.. His mother was a woman. Maybe? He never checked. . . he probably should have, just in case. Attempting to make conversation with someone other than he team, he went on to interview Maja as they made their way down to the vans. "Don't you think its a bit suspicious for eleven trained killers to be standing around a construction sight? Whats the shipment? Can I have some? You ever tasted human? Are woman really naturally smarter than men? Is it true that women choose to be dominated because thier afraid and addicted to manly musk?" he fired off with childlike glee. He was curious after hearing her rattle of info to her team. More that curious. How could someone like him be a hired killer?

@LokiLeo789

did you even look at your own character when you were typing that btw??? XD

How would we even have fun roleplaying a scenario where we were just hiding

do you wanna play a game where we are just hiding?

I don't

that sounds boring AF

"once upon at time the K9 hid until they were blown up the end"

edit:
pressed sumbit too early hold on

Thats not my point, we may have different ideas of fun, but we should still look at this objectively. If we are a team, it should be a team effort. I made it clear that hunkering down wasn't the point of this RP, but strategy is. What I'm saying, is that as killers, if we were really skilled at what we did, we would also be methodical about covering our own assess from 19 year old female terminators (fucking scary). I guess breaking into teams would allow us to do that individually, but were not dealing with illiterates here. If the Mafia is after us, they will do everything to kill us. So why would he run out and start causing chaos on the level that it seems is about to take place.

Edit: I hate when that happens. I refreshed before of posted to check lol. I understand that, and I sympathize, we cant just find leaders, and beating up the little guys will get us there, maybe, but how practical would it be. As you brought out, there are to many random variables involved to just find some mobster and beat the shit out of him for info. You gotta torture that man. But the Mafia will find out a member is missing, and it may deteriorate from there. I just things must be assesd carufully, maybe between team members.
@Stekkmen

Nope, it's fine!

I have a question. If this is an RP, were the hunters are being hunted, shouldn't this be approached differently? I dont think that characters should be hunkered down and hiding, I just think that if we are going the Mafia hates us route, this should be a lot more hectic. This is 9, verses most likely the strongest group in the valley. We shouldn't be storming their bases and hunting them, this should be more quiet. Assassinations of father, research, informants, that is the direction I feel K9 should be taking, if they were smart. No matter how powerful and badass we are, we are being hunted, and treed more carefully as a group. I also feel, that the idea of giving the Hunters a random vendetta against K9 makes little sense, and infact, should be job opertunites for them from the Mafia. No matter how prepared and strong we all are, thier should be no reason for K9 to attack the Mafia in the way we are.

EDIT: Im also confused as to what exactly we are splitting up to do? Can someone explain that to me please.

Me just ranting I guess.
