Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

I will post tomorrow, sorry for the delay.
"Right," Marc said. "I will check the medication list and the files. Maybe you can try to find Benjamin and let him know I want to talk to him after dinner."
There was a lot he needed to look into, and he hoped he could find some clues. He rubbed the back of his head, here he was believing a patient, but he had to admit things were happening that didn't add up. And it was time he started looking into them.

Benjamin turned to Ari. "If you really are turning back into a ghost... you are the best person to try and find Ray. She has to be here somewhere. There are many closed doors I can't go through, but you can. We can't help Ray if we don't know where she is."
The more he thought about it, it sucked for Ari she losing her solid form, but it could be a blessing for Ray. If it wasn't too late.
When the alarm in Benjamin's watch beeped to let him know he had arrived at the point of no return, he stopped to silence it, took a breather with his hands on his hips and turned around to get back. A sudden feeling of being watched came over him. After glancing around he took two steps before he noticed a movement. It turned dark afterwards.

Mike was thinking many thoughts on the way to the tearoom; he had read a lot of information that all needed their place in his mind and he tried to order it as well as he could. He almost passed the tearoom, but he remembered just in time this was where he had to be.
He entered the establisment and as he was the first he sat down at an empty table, checking out the modest menu.
Michael nodded to show he had listened, but it was a difficult subject to fully understand. Especially with the baby Mew that had hatched. Maybe it wasn't needed to fully understand it, as long as he got the most important things. If Arceus was afraid of Niccia being corrupted, he had to look after her. His thoughts went, against his will, to Darkrai. What if Darkrai got her? He shuddered, having been Darkrai's prisoner wasn't a pleasant memory, and certainly not a situation he wanted Niccia to endure.
He finished his food in silent thought.

Andy sat down next to Gavin, but didn't disturb his meal. He just ate in silence next to him, glancing to his Pokémon who all seemed to enjoy their meals.

"It's okay," Saruya said to Niccia. "Let them play, it will make them stronger." She watched all the small Pokémon eat to ensure they all got their fill. She looked up when Bear placed a bowl in front of her.
"We have enough, no need to wait.". He said the same to Soul as he gave him a portion for himself as well. He, the fast eater that he was, had already finished his and wandered around a bit to find something to do.
Fenna lay in the grass, rain fallow down on her. Shallow breaths escaped her lips as she tried to work through the pain of her open wounds. She turned her head to see first Clive and then Zell move in with their attacks. "Good job," she whispered to Zell when Zigmund died, even though she knew he was out of ear-shot.

It wasn't long before Barracker helped her up and assister her towards the temple entrance. Pierced three times, but the spikes had been thin, the wounds they had caused weren't an immediate thread but would need treatment. The blood leaking out the six wounds mixed with the rain and travelled down her armour.

Fenna grinned weakly at Barrackers comment. Pre-rain she had been able to land some good hits, but post-rain she had done nothing more than take the role of distraction, which thankfully had paid off. "I take pride in the fact he hated me enough that he wanted to make me suffer," she admitted. "That means he considered me one of the bigger nuisances at least. I'm glad he's dead."

With a groan she got down on the ground when they reached the camp and tried to determine what needed to happen with her wounds. It would need some bandaging for sure. Where were her supplies? Sil landed next to her with the spear she had picked up, while Fenna slowly removed her leather armour. Fenna leaned back in a half-sitting/half-lying position, moving hurt and the slow but continous bloodloss made her tired. Sil watched her and after a moment she went to a nearby leaf, picked it up and tried to put it on one of the lower wounds. "Thanks, darling," Fenna whispered, although it did nothing to stop the bleeding.

She found some bandages to wrap around her torso, but with her injured shoulder she couldn't do it alone. Thankfully she got the assistance she needed. She turned her face to MacKensie and managed a faint smile when she pointed out her shoulder. Out of the three wounds, that was the one that one caused the most discomfort in both pain and hindring her movement. Her first instict was to downplay it, but there was no reason for it. "Yes, I need a hospital," she sighed.

When her wounds were provisionally treated, Fenna lay down to rest. Sil remained close to her and eyed everyone who dared coming close suspiciously. Fenna listened to MacKensie questioning Clive and turned her head so she could watch them.
@Loksfjoer Approved! My only slight concern is that a character who is a loner tends to have trouble interacting with other characters. As long as you feel that won't be an issue, then I don't have an issue.

I've used this character in other RP's. He likes his solitude, but mingles when needed. He isn't shy and speaks his mind, so there will be opportunities for interaction. I'll add that he speaks his mind as I forgot to include that. And make a mention that when he's in town, he does visit public places like taverns.
I was planning on playing a dwarf, or maybe a human. This Redcap got me intrigued though.
Important! For this round I have upped the word count. Instead of 500-5000 I have the word count listed as 1000-7500.
