It's been 6 years, but I'm back, baby! Old 4 eyes is back, and hopefully less horribly cringe than I was when I was just starting out! Armed with a keyboard and wit, I'm back.

Alright, this is going to be awesome, I can just smell it! And yes, I think late high school types would be good, because, since the characters in the book were children in mid teens, our characters should reflect that! And I will be able to post a few posts daily, don't worry about that. Thus a minimum of a post a day for me is a guarantee, even having multiple posts if everyone is active. However, if something comes up that forces me to post less and be less active, I will warn you guys of that development. And yes, seizing the narrative would definitely be good, and can help my character get around to having a little bit of his own free will with being spontaneous a little. And considering I myself am a teen in my 3rd year of high-school, I will easily be able to get into the head of my OC, since he is more or less based around me and my personality to make role-play a leetle bit easier for me. And my character could easily fit into the role of the nerd or the more heartfelt character that can step in when our intentions stray from good and start to cross the line into evil, so my character has a role set. I just have one final question: Which time period are we doing? Are we doing mid 1990's like in the books, or are we doing modern day? Just for conformation to be able to get my first post done when we write the first role-play post!
Sigh. Alright, take your time... I am going to try to wean myself off this alcohol.
Sincerest apologies, all! I was absent for way longer than I expected to be, but that gave me time to think up a beginning for the story and devise my character sheet, which I'm working on as I type (sorta :p). Expect to start tonight or tomorrow! If we don't, one of you has permission to kick my ass! ;D
Oh, it's fine, you can take all the time you need for doing what you need to do. I like your character, it is short but sweet, and gets to the point! I hope we start the roleplay soon, but if not, that is fine, since it gives me a bit of time to work on my scrapcastle(TM) while I wait. So take your time, don't worry, because I can understand that you are doing other things before roleplay! :)

Okay, two things... For one, I see how a shiny could work, and be that very slim chance that you have your starter being, but would it be allowed, or would it be a bit OP? And yes, I see how having my OC be in love with his Pokemon could come into problems have complications. I guess it would be best just to indeed lightly imply it and keep from exploring it further, you are correct.
If we really want, we could have it set that there were no evil people and that she was a natural mutation, if that is possible and would work better I can fix that. And yes, I see that having his Pokemon as his lover was a bad idea, but I want to be rolling with it, because even though I would be using it as a light hearted thing, I think it would be best to lightly imply it as they have recommended below... And yeah, I get it, the watch was a really bad idea, the idea was it would use robotics to integrate technology into itself like some alien weird thing, but it would be an better idea to remove it fully and just have it as a watch that was made out of a pokedex by him. If that would be best, once again, I can alter my OC to make it better. I am sorry, I haven't thought this through, sorry about this... I have been doing too much writing on my novels outside of this site, so my mind keeps getting off track with sci-fi and very impossible tech... @PlatinumSkink
I am glad to see all your creative posts! Reminds me of a time when I would write scifi/modern books outside of my main book series. Too bad my computer was reset and I lost the books before I could save them to a USB flash drive, but that is another story, another time.
It's fine mate, don't you worry about it. I understand being distracted from role-play, for it happens to me far too often!
