Current I think we should normalize giving our characters a song or two that helps describe their general ambience. Everyone needs a good themesong, after all!

When people ask me what the fox says, it's usually something along the lines of "Don't be a right arsehole, ya hear?"

It's been 6 years, but I'm back, baby! Old 4 eyes is back, and hopefully less horribly cringe than I was when I was just starting out! Armed with a keyboard and wit, I'm back.

Man, I freaking LOVE Glimmora. Poison/rock is a rather rare type, so it's nice to see. A flower made of crystals or whatever? That's sick as heck! Though maybe that's just my inner magpie speaking. Garganacle, while basic, I also enjoy. It's very Minecraft coded. Like a sort of salt golem, that's cool.
Heh, I get that. I personally dislike Charizard. It gets so much popularity and I'm just here being like 'I think Charizard is overrated'
I think I'm just really upset that of the Kanto starters, Charizard gets the most love and yet it's my least favourite. Hell, it got two megas while the other two got one! That's not fair for the other two!
I'm glad you enjoy Kitsi, I've worked very hard to make her lovable. Lots of personality in that one! But the others also have plenty of personality, she's just been shown off the most because she's also my favourite! I won't hide the fact I absolutely adore all the fox Pokemon. Ninetaes, Nickit, Zorua... Zoroark is also cool but I prefer Zorua just because it's the cuter one. My favourite, it's so hard to pick one, I love so many. Luxray is another contender! It was actually really hard to avoid filling Adolphian's team with my absolute favourites and try to stick to a general theme. Of course, I lost because his team is just my favourites regardless. I actually think it'd be harder for me to choose my least favourite, because I like most pokemon for different reasons. Muk is one I don't like, but that's just like... A pile of sludge. I do like Alolan Muk because of the idea that it has like these rocks in it that are crystallized poison, so that's a cool thing.

Dragonite... Oh lords, I don't like dragonite, entirely because it goes from a cute snake dragon to... Barney the Dinosaur with jaundice. If only Dragonair could have evolved into a snake dragon, I bloody love snakes.
I think he'd look good in a Klingon style(yes, that's literally what it's called, someone must have been a 'Trek fan!) beard, but I don't think he'd do well with a moustache. And then he can stroke his beard while he's in deep, like a true 'I can't believe he's not a villain' look.
In other news, I realize how similar Adolphian is to the Ultra Recon Squad. Someone from a strange, distant land? Bluish pale skin with a strange, technological vibe? Someone who doesn't really understand the land he is in and would appear outwardly alien to anyone he meets? I've been recently playing Ultra Moon and I only made the connection now. I swear I didn't know they existed until recently, ha ha! Only thing he's lacking is a fantastic Waluigi moustache! And I don't think an official guide would refer to him as 'your blue friend'

I'm sorry Nintendo please don't sue me!
Thanks to some input from his Pokemon, Adolphian was nearly finished with the repairs to his transport. He began to relax and feel complacent. Despite the disaster he and his team had to face, he felt relief in knowing the incident could have gone a LOT worse, especially with a prototype. Had the crystalline reactor on board failed, it could have caused the entire craft to go up in a shower of explosions akin to little more than fireworks to anyone viewing from the ground. Of course, the scrap metal falling from the sky certainly doesn't usually follow fireworks, but they wouldn't have known that.

His peace and quiet was cut when the sight of a great blue serpent flew through the air, barely missing Adolphian and his craft. The scream of it's trainer and a bone-shaking roar was enough to rattle him to his core. Fearing that a threat had entered the area, Adolphian put down his tools and returned his Pokemon. "Potential threat nearby. Code red. Stay inside, I look. I send code clear when danger gone." He commanded in his signature broken English. The pilot and her co-pilot nodded and stepped inside the transport as instructed as they awaited the more battle-ready trainer to investigate the serpent.

Holding a Pokeball in one hand and some sort of tool in the other, he cautiously approached the direction which he last saw the fearsome creature in. The device he held seemed to bear a resemblance to the pistols that used to be used by police forces, though it carried a sleek shiny brass shell, had a sort of half-cylindrical barrel and a stripe of shining blue down the centre, capped with a sphere of the same material. The tip sparked as he disengaged the safety. Though he had Pokemon with him, he wasn't entirely used to battling. He was more used to using his disabler to weaken Pokemon enough to leave him alone, a practice held by many Stahlblatt residents, a vestige still remaining after the war. It might not have such effect to a well-trained Pokemon, but it was certainly enough to discourage a wild one from making dinner out of him. In reality, it was no stronger than a low-level Pikachu using thunder shock.

Upon slow approach, he met up with a trainer who seemed down on their luck. They seemed to have fallen off their mount Next to them was the great ferocious Gyrados. He had never met such a creature before. Stahlblatt certainly wasn't known for water types, let alone ones that grew to be so large. Sending out his Ninetales, he took cover behind a rock and got ready to utilize his disabler from his safe position. The Ninetales; though still nervous from the transport ride, she was dedicated to protecting her trainer. "Ten specjalny operator jest gotowy do serwisu! Jaki jest porządek, szefie? (Translation: "Special operator, ready for service! What's the order, boss?") The Ninetales spoke, the gems decorating her fur glimmering as she prepared to protect Adolphian.

His visor lit up as he peered at the strange woman and the Gyrados by her side. She was certainly odd, unlike any other human he'd seen before. Her skin was a pale pinkish tan and she didn't seem to have any natural crystals embedded in her. Perhaps she'd removed them? Her hair was a dark ebony black, perhaps she'd dyed it? Why didn't it have any colours other than black? She was a truly strange human. However, perhaps the residents of Sinnoh were simply peculiar, Adolphian thought. According to his scanner, she didn't seem to show any signs of danger according to his scans. However, her biosignature was definitely off, at least compared to the baselines he had on hand. He couldn't tell why, but several key areas were different as well as lacking entire energy signatures.

"Human, or... Whatever you are! Identify! You nearly cause damage to Nanocorp property! What you do, being so reckless?" He shouted from behind the hopeful safety of the rock he hid behind. Though he didn't preform any acts to indicate immediate hostility, he was certainly incredibly cautious. This was the first human from another region he met after all, who knew what kinds of danger they were capable of! The facility he was headed to could have been a safe haven from the dangers of the world, but she was a complete unknown. Little did the scientist realize she was headed to the same location he was.

Though fearful of his own life, Mr. Blueman didn't seem unreasonable. Though he was quite different from what anyone had seen, the fact he had some Pokeballs indicated he too was a trainer. Of course, his Ninetales was quite different, but perhaps she was a regional variant? But how could she speak? What trickery was the strange, technologically advanced man and his Ninetales up to? Were they aliens? Perhaps from another dimension? Wormholes opened up that occasionally spat people out, perhaps he was one of them? And what was that strange language the Ninetales spoke? Perhaps the two were simply from a far-away land that nobody had heard of. There was something on the news a few years ago about a strange region that briefly opened it's doors to the outside world, only to close them a few months later and become highly restricted to visitors. Perhaps he was from that strange, oddly secretive place? So many questions, and so little answers.
@Birdboy Oh, definitely! A giant water serpent would certainly be quite the terrifying sight for anyone who hasn't seen one before! Even one who's about as scared as a squirrel! As for Stahlblatt, I would say it's possible she's at least heard of the region, but little is known about it. Very few people are allowed to visit, after multiple incidents that happened following the initial opening of the region. Turns out some people just wanted to exploit the region...

Oh, that's for sure! Adolphian is certainly a bit of a mess on the inside, but he's worked pretty hard towards his outwards appearance. At least he can project the aura of someone who has his stuff together. His Ninetales certainly helps him cope with the whole 'I want to scream but I must stay professional' aspect of things, lol.

I'll work on my post tomorrow. I've spent so long today getting late assignments submitted that I have had barely any time for anything else. But soon I'll be less busy. I hope!
@Lord Frostecs I'd love to! Did you have something in mind?

I was thinking perhaps a certain scientist would be working on repairing the downed transport when he hears your Elena struggling with her Gyrados. Perhaps he could be thinking they pose a threat to the others in the crew, so he leaves the final repairs to them while he investigates. Gyrados isn't native to Stahlblatt, believe it or not. There aren't many water types in the region due to the low amount of natural water features, so it'd very much be unfamiliar to him! He's the strongest trainer in the group so it'd naturally fall to him to investigate a trainer struggling with such a powerful Pokemon.
@StarfrostedFox, it's lovely to see your family has a hobby that can bring you all together! Wholesome as heck, that is!

@Birdboy, how'd you feel about an encounter with a wild Adolphian?

And finally, @Aisede, I'm sorry for not mentioning sooner but I really enjoyed your post. It was truly beautiful to read, gave a very pleasant mental image. :)
Yeah, at this point, Adolphian is trying to unscrew the mess that's happened with his transport crashing, so he can't exactly go meander off and meet people. I was hoping someone would notice.
