Bio

Reluctantly retired roleplayer.

Except when I'm not.

Why are you here when you should be writing posts?

You can edit a bad draft, but you cannot edit a blank page.

Character Sheet:
Alias(es): 'Superhero name'
Legal Name(s): 'Name on your driver's license'
Years Active: 'How many years have you been active in your alias?'
Brief History: 'A synopsis of your character's life, focusing on major moments'
Non-Negotiables: 'How your character integrates into the RP and factors that are required from your CS to make them work. IE, "I need this villain to further a plot" or "Having X legacy character undermines the current themes I'm building on. So GMs shouldn't be entertaining applications for them."'
Notable Differences from Canon: 'Any notable differences you want to expand on or highlight'
Plots & Interactions: 'How you plan to move forward with this character and how you want them to be part of the greater RP'
Superman:
-Playing the paragon, truth, justice and dignity for all. Superman needs to be written in ways that challenge and test his humanity and humility. His power set is broad and scaled to take on some of the biggest bads in comics, though in a reinvention, this could be tweaked. Ideally, a Zero Year Superman, still learning the limits of his abilities. Something like a middle ground between Smallville and Earth One. Young, naive and idealistic, Smallville' comes to the big city of Metropolis and realizes the harshness of the world and how much of a difference he could make.

Cons: Writing Superman often requires big threats that would be world-ending for other heroes. Superman has a couple of connected legacies that are pretty popular, and I wouldn't want around.

Space Pirates & Swashbuckling Nightcrawler (Guardians Concept? Nightcrawler, Starfire, Rocket, Groot, Adam Strange/Peter Quill? Kitty as Captain?)

Character Applications will only be accepted during the initial window presented in the OOC. The closing of this window will coincide with the launch of the IC. Once the IC is live, no further character applications will be accepted, providing players with an easier time writing stories and using characters without needing to worry about them being applied for. A new application window will open at the end of each season, following a 'draft' for current players, during which they can brainstorm and reserve characters for the upcoming season.

After the first season, priority will always be given to consistent and active players. Any abandoned characters or plots which don't connect to the greater story or another player's overarching story will be wiped from the IC and Roster and considered non-canon. This will continue with each subsequent season to prevent abandoned characters and their posts from becoming artifacts.
After some thought, I really don't think I'll have the time, energy or desire to continue on here. With things at work the way they are, my time is only going to be further chewed up with interviewing and eventually training.

So with that said, I am formally withdrawing my sheet and claim on those characters. If the itch returns to write this arch, I'll likely do so elsewhere so as not to impede others here.

@mattmanganon feel free to disregard any use of Storm and pursue one of your previous ideas.

I feel like it should be like the vice presidency.

It should go to @Lord Wraith

I couldn't possibly run an RP that I didn't personally vet the players for.

That and I don't have the time at the moment so it'd be a lateral transition.
Worry about getting a sheet accepted first.
Sep, Sep, he's our man, if he can't do it, no one can!
I can't account for your Scottish internet.

Its a solid concept, but there is equally nobody to accept or deny it.
