Aura snorted. "There it is. And what, praytell, might this small deal be?" She squinted at the imp. His words, for once, made her uneasy. Not only did they have genie going to war and potentially keeping tabs on them, but now she learns they also have a fiendish hag and whatever other "master bellow" this imp speaks of. Was this imp the presence she also sensed watching her when she was more or less alone or was it something else entirely?

Once the group was traveling again Aura continued her idol chatter. It was, after all, uncommon for the charasmatic warlock to remain quiet for long. When the air began to turn cold Hawk made a point to crawl under her cloak, claiming it was too much for his reptilian form. Aura knew that was not true but she let him remain there in the mean time as they approached the distant figure.

Soon the figure was no longer distant and offering warm weather gear them. A "gift" from the imp's master. Aura was about to inquire about whom it's master was but Flicker beat her to it, ever the cautious individual they were."Nanna May, as in the same hag that let us kill a bunch of people for her? Yea no thanks, I would much rather freeze to death than take anything offered, with kindness, from her. Gifts from beings like that is how one becomes bound to them and I am already bound to a much better option, thank you. Nobody here, or in Zephyr, needs to owe her any favors." There was an unusually cruel bite to Aura's words that the party rarely heard. The air Genasi was usually far more careful with how her words came out, but it seemed she was not hiding her displeasure in this moment.

Their birth parents were both drug dealers, though neither actually did the drugs they sold themselves surprisingly. They were terrible parents however, often neglecting the twins or even beating them, and it only got worse as they got older. It wasn’t until the twins were about eight that their parents finally got caught and both arrested. Needless to say this left the two in the foster care system for a while before they were adopted by a couple who couldn’t have children of their own. This didn't happen until the two were about eleven as not many people wanted to keep the twins together. The Daltons took them in and treated the twins as if they had raised the two there whole lives. Luckily the twins had each other so they settled in fairly easily. Though they had developed a bit of an unhealthy co-dependence on each other. The two have since worked through this with the help of therapists and can go about there own business without feeling anxious with the other not there. This allowed the twins to develop there own personalities and interests. Whereas for the most part the twins were inseparable they did have their differences. Maria grew into a very musically talented young female, learning several instruments at once and even taking voice lessons. She loves music, it is her getaway and her stress relief. She also secretly enjoys nerding out about superheroes. This year, for the first time in their entire lives the twins are seperated. Marco managed to get himself into a boarding school with a fantastic dance program after spending all summer studying with Maria to pass the entrance exams. Aura shot up in her seat only to groan as her head throbbed. "Hells, what happened?" She groaned as she closed her eyes tight in a long, steadying blink. It took her a moment to get her bearings and with the help of Hawk recounting the events leading up to this she sighed. "Ah yup that adds up." She said looking at the tankards around them. "You know when I said loosen up this wasn't really what I meant but I will take it I guess."

The air Genasi's attention was drawn to the Orc who occupied the table with them as he made a comment to Jørmund. "Whatever he is, is an Earth Genasi." She then pointed toward Cascade, "Water Genasi," Finger moving to Flicker, "Fire Genasi," and lastly she pointed to herself "And last but certainly not least, Air Genasi. Just think of us as super cool elemental people, it's easier that way than explaining the birds and the bees." Taking another deep breath she stood from her seat and stretched. "I think we all could use some food in our bellies. Allow me to go order us some. Would rather not yell right now if I can help it." With that she made her way, slightly unsteadily to the bar to order the best hangover food this Inn could muster for the group of them, Hammerhand included.

When Pierce was 10 his mother got really sick, a trip to the hospital discovered a tumor in her brain. The doctors were confident they would operate to remove it. The operation seemed to go well, however his mother died in the hospital later due to some complications. Since then Pierce has been terrified of hospitals. Despite the tragic death of his mother Pierce still maintained his kind personality. His father was sure to get his son the care he needed so Pierce never entered the self destructive phase he could have. Life continued as normal for the next 3 years. That was until his Father met his now Step Mother Alice, who had a son of her own. Things were a little rocky at first but 2 years after they met they were married and Pierce went from an only child to having a younger brother. @Dark Cloud I would think of it like this instead.

Completely whip the encounter out of your mind right, instead the party arrived, the tavern was hosting a drinking contest, our group and your character joined in, we all got shit faced drunk (maybe there was a small bar fight to explain why the non-drinkers of our party were also passed out) and now we are all waking up.

I think the DM would rather just move on from the whole thing, a big ol retcon.
