Location: On the Road -> Village Coffee
Interacting With: Liam - @Pundii | Zahra - @Beefydork | Roxanne - @HushedWhispers | Ryder - @sakurasan

Joseph got halfway to the little coffee shop that he was heading to for breakfast when his phone buzzed in his pocket. He lessened the force on the pedal and pulled his phone out. Watching the road carefully while he read the text, he decided that he would be going to Village Coffee instead. Liam had invited him to go along to see Zahra Heaven perform, a person that he'd met a few times and enjoyed. She always seemed to be happy when he saw her, and she was a fantastic singer. Only stopping at Village every now and then, he thought that maybe he'd have to go more often, seeing as he knew some of it's customers and performers.

He made an illegal U-turn, checking for cops before executing it, obviously, and sped down the road. A few minutes passed and he came to a stop along the curb just across the street. Rolling up the windows, he pulled the keys from the ignition and stepped out. Breakfast and a show, definately something he was always up for. He crossed the street and entered the nice little shop. Well, if may have been little once, but it was packed with people. As soon as he entered, the sound of chatting people filled his ears and blocked out everything from the outside. People bought food, got coffee, and just enjoyed the music. He thought he saw a few business men inside, too.

Joseph quickly scanned the shop for Liam, finding many more people he knew than expected. So much for not knowing anyone else here... he thought, chuckling a bit out loud. He was talking with a few people, Zahra being one of them. She seemed like a very nice person, he'd seen her performances a few times and thoroughly enjoyed them. As soon as he spotted her, he saw her nearly choke on a banana and look at Roxanne rather surprised. Joseph smirked, not caring about what had just happened, only the outcome. Not only was Liam speaking with Zahra, but he was with Roxanne and Ryder as well. He'd never heard Roxanne sing, but he had heard that she was very good. In fact, he may have asked her to sing once or twice, which now that he thought about it, may have seemed creepy. He pushed it to the back of his mind as he looked to Ryder. He'd seen her around, not too terribly often, but knew she was in his building. She seemed alright. He snapped back into reality and walked over to Liam, dodging customers on the way.

"Hey hey hey," he laughed, "so much for not knowing anybody here! I appreciate the invite, I'm always up for seeing Zahra perform! Zahra, always nice to see you, good luck up there. Roxanne, Ryder, how's it going? Nice to see you two here, too!" He bowed his head in respect to each of them, then clapped his hands together. "What'd I miss?"

He ran his hand through his hair, scratching his head while he did so. Why he hadn't come here more often he didn't know, but he certainly liked the atmosphere. He wasn't very fond of loud noises, but this was pleasant. The voices of the crowd of people was almost comforting, he knew that nobody would pay attention to him in large groups. He wasn't sure how much the story of his past had been passed around, crossing his fingers that it was over for now. He glanced around and was happy all was well and normal. As soon as he realized this, he turned his attention imediately back to the small group of people before him. It was clear that something had just happened, or else Zahra probably wouldn't have almost choked on that darn banana.

"Oh, and Zahra, is the banana alright? Looked like an action-packed half-second, seems like you won that fight!"
Elliot frowned as he spoke about changing roommates. Sure, he wouldn't mind it, but usually people generally liked him. And he knew that this was no normal meet and greet, especially not normal. The rules of the apartment were less a democracy and dictatorship. He hadn't even spoken about the rules, despite the fact that he probably wouldn't want to.

"Sorry..." he muttered. That was all he could say, he'd used up all his energy thinking about how in the world he could speak his mind without getting himself killed. He was already on Lonnie's bad side, he didn't want to piss off another person, either. He just decided he wouldn't say anything at all. Leave the work to Lonnie, clearly he would rather it be that way. Lonnie had enough girls to "lick his pole", why not talk another one into it.

Elliot raised an eyebrow, not out of interest, but out of disgust. A person cocky enough to refuse to even greet him in a hallway was definately not a person he would like to be associated with. He had no choice, though, there's not really a way to get his room changed. And even if there were, he would be making himself look like a coward. The way he immediately took control of the room's rules also frustrated him. Perhaps the most infuriating thing, though, was his straighforwardness in offering him a "fresh piece of ass".

"Look, I'm going to be honest," he said, his voice slightly louder than before. "I don't want anything from you, anything. I'm here for an education, that's all. I take pictures of nature, landscapes mostly, every once in a while I'll shoot some pictures of daily things. No, I do not have a girlfriend, and I certainly do not want somebody to come "licking my pole". That may be your thing, but I think you oughtta respect woman, not offering them to your roommate like an object."

Surprised by the sudden burst, Elliot immediately let out a sigh. It felt good to let it all go, but it was a strange feeling. Never doing that again, he thought.

Location: His Apartment
Interacting With: Liam - @Pundii - via text | Theresa - @Filthy Mudblood - via text

Joseph was woken up by the thin, bright light coming through the window. He thought he closed the blinds the night before, but the rude awakening proved him wrong. His vision stolen by the light, he swung his legs over the side of the bed and rushed to the window and closed them. He blinked a few times, giving his eyes time to adjust, and rubbed them. After he was able to see clearly, he slowly opened the window back up, now that he was able to look out without being blinded. People were already doing their errands, going to work, and catching cabs. Many people walked with suitcases, some with shopping bags, and others with plain purses. The majority of the sea of people flooding the streets were talking on their cell phones, likely business work.

The window was fairly large, but a little lower than most would be. He stood before it window, looking out at the people, until he realized he was only in his underwear. He quickly rushed over to his dresser and picked out a pair of slim jeans, pulling them on rather violently. He went through his shirts, picked out a nice black shirt, and buttoned it up. He pushed his fingers through his hair to rought it up a bit, and glanced in the mirror to make sure it was alright. He looked pretty good, at least he thought so. Casually formal, as he likes to describe himself.

The mirror was just one of the many things he had on his walls. There were many random posters, signs, and other hanging things that he'd taken from previous sets that he'd worked on. Many of them were going to be thrown away, but he'd prefer to keep them safe, not in the trash. They're like suvenirs to him, something to remember each and every place he's worked. He had a pair of swords, which might be his favorite suvenir ever, that was from his third movie. It took place in the Civil War, and he was cast as the supporting character, an officer. He had been able to keep both the sword used, one of them real and the other was actually retractable. Obviously they can't use real swords to stab, so they used angles to make it seem like they were being killed.

When he finished reminisching about his past, he left his room, going straight for the coffee maker. He dodged Laim's cat, Sancho, who was laying right in the middle of the room. Jeez, ate and everything already. Eating must be real exhausting. He got ready to turn the machine on, but noticed that it already had been turned on. He poured himself a cup, slugged it down pretty quickly, and poured one more to kill off what was left. Before he forgot, he pulled out his phone, checked the weather, and thanked Liam for the coffee.

To: Liam
Hey man, appreciate the coffee. Many thanks!

Joseph slipped his phone back into his pocket and returned to his bed, staring out the window once again. It seemed oddly bright for a normal morning, but he began to feel particularily odd himself. He suddenly got a strange feeling in his stomach, something good. It usually happened when he was nervous, afraid, or intimidated by something, but he found it almost comforting for once. Something good was going to become of the day, he was sure of it. Unsure of what it was, though, he began to fantasize about what could happen. Thoughts ran through his head, but he couldn't think of how any of them could happen on just a regular day. He forced it to the back of his mind, figuring that he'd just let the day play out.

Pulling his phone out once again, he scrolled through the latest news. Nothing too exciting, there were a few big sales going on, some store was being inspected for health violations, nothing new. After he'd finished, he went onto the website of a local theater, checking to find any plays he may have a chance in. Many of them were kids plays, silly takes on films, that kind of thing. But one thing, however, did catch his eye. They were creating a production of Reservoir Dogs, one of his personal favorite films.

"No way...!" he muttered to himself. He immediately wrote down information of where the auditions were, what time, and everything he may need to know. He couldn't decide what role he would go for, though, he loved them all. Rather than deciding right then and there, he chose to wait awhile, think on it a little bit. He did, of course, want to spread the news. He knew the movie like the back of his hand, he could definately play anybody in the play! He had to tell somebody.

To: Tessa
Heyheyhey, guess what? Think I might have a big role coming soon! May not be a movie, but it's still something.

Out of excitement, he opened the apartment door, not realizing that he had no shoes or socks on. He got half way down the hall before noticing and ran back to his room. He through on some socks, slipped his feet into some black slip-ons, and returned to the hall. He noticed Reed infront of a door just down the hall, giving him a quick wave before quickly decending the stairs. The auditions happened to go on all day, and only that day. He got out the door in a hurry, and hopped into his car. He figured that it may not be a bad idea to go for a little drive, go stop and get breakfast somewhere, get ready for the audititons. He would be able to look up some lines, get familiar with the material once again. The quicker he could be ready, the better. He was determined to get a role, no matter what it was, and wanted to do so as quick as he could.
I hope it's living, I was way too excited for this to start to have it shut down so quickly ._.
