Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

A burial blade? I can dig it.

@Loony a while back the consensus was made that a single player would control both characters. This was done so that nobody would have to constantly rely on someone else, and so that one player's time wouldn't be ruined if someone dropped out. I guess it would be possible to do otherwise depending on Ginger's final word, but I'd be interested to know why you might want that.

Oui. Gren actually stuck around after the violence and participated in it heavily, hence how he got his combat cybernetics. It's only after he noticed his wanton slaughtering wasn't really getting them anywhere that he cut ties. I was just thinking that as a side plot perhaps some White Fang may try to attack Gren for some reason or another, and figured that you may be interested in getting caught up in that.

Initially I had this funny idea where the White Fang are attacking, chasing down our characters, and then we meet. We fight off some of the White Fang and then they both mention that "They're after me", then they confuse each other into wondering why the White Fang are after the other instead of themselves.

Well crap, I really liked this RP and my characters and you all but I guess we're dead now. Better luck next time!

*Reads scores for the event. Looks unhappy.*

Anyway, I bet you the Iron Enigma fight for day 3 is going to totally be the most interesting fight since the beginning of the games!

Or, at least, gonna get the most hate for Iron Enigma.

I was baffled that your multi-post description of Jacob's adventures was beaten by Rider's Blade's one-off.

I'm also surprised that Frenzy Plant ranked as highly as it did, considering that Indigo finished second-to-last.
Chill out people. It's not done in the least. I rushed out what I wrote in like an hour or so and I probably won't have time to write more until, like, monday. I just cannot write well on my mobile.

Edit: See what I mean? I try to write something... well... different and I get torn to pieces.

I have to object to this. Torn to pieces? Prince, and only Prince, offered constructive criticism. You can be angry at what I said, I suppose, but it's an accurate appraisal of what you have so far. What do you even mean by 'see what I mean?' You entered an unfinished submission, which isn't supposed to be done, and in what you have so far you've put more effort into making a point about gender relations than a coherent character or plausible story. I'm certain getting melodramatic won't make anyone appreciate your perspective more, or be more likely to get you points. Your entry could be good when you finish it on Monday, so why do you feel the need to play the victim now? Just wait, consider feedback if you're interested in others' perspectives, and show the viability of your content with a finished product when the time comes.

Involving a 'different' subject isn't the problem; relying on it to make your content good or sensible is. Many things are possible in the world of RWBY, particularly a noncanon one, but the more impossible the subject, the more attention and complexity needs to be given to it. Otherwise it's like throwing a few buzzwords into an essay with a weak context and expecting it to get an 'A'.

Hey Pyro, why would the researchers be under the impression that fertilizing a faunus egg with converted female DNA create some sort of super faunus? From a genetic standpoint (assuming you ignore the obvious pseudo science at play) wouldn't that just ensure that the child is a girl because the female DNA wouldn't be able to provide the Y chromosome?

Smaller issue but why would someone who's clearly been shown (at least in contest entrees) to be fighting for faunus rights enter a "Faunus Research Lab" in the first place and why would they be released after the procedure failed given that however the public might feel about faunus experimenting on them is still very much illegal? Just out of curiosity.

Don't stress out, Prince. If you're not the judge, you don't need to point out the fallacies in a player's fantasy. In fact, not helping out potential opponents might make a ranking on your part easier.
@Raijinslayer your autocorrect is going nuts.
I have ten minutes till my shift is over.

ENTERTAIN ME!

Wait, you've got it wrong, Weiss wields the Myrtenaster, and the scythe is called 'Crescent Rose'. Nah, I'm just playing where'd you find fan art with Ruby with two scythes?

Also, this is for the GM to decide when and if he returns to make this RP move faster than not at all (I'm being slightly facetious here; I know everyone has exams), but we already have several girls whose flaw is overprotectiveness/quickness to risk themselves and several who act emotionally distant.
