I will allow down time, for crafting potions of healing is half the cost for the supplies with use of alchemist tools or herbalist kit. Crafting time I'll have to refer to the dmg for an idea of how long it should take, and I think it will also be determined by the strength of the potion.

Forgot to add, while Auril is still present the land is in darkness, with only a few hours of twilight close to mid day. It's been that way for about at least a year.

Also think of Icewind Dale as being in one of the more northern parts of the world.

5e Rime of the Frostmadien.

It is in Faerun, party composition is currently a tiefling ranger, a changeling bard who looks like a moon elf, and a gnome barbarian. I will accept races from Mordenkianen's Tomb of Foes, and Eberron Rise from the Last War. Classes and subclasses from those and Xanathars Guide to Everything are accepted as well.

Kythor might be willing to pass any potential new recruits some gold, but admittedly given his current situation right now he may be a little stingy. You could probably talk him into it though without much issue.

As for what Kythor's plans are, I think after spending a night at the inn he's going to have some breakfast and linger around the inn for a bit, both to eavesdrop on local gossip and to keep an eye out for anybody who might be interested and capable in helping him look into the fisherman problem that Easthaven's been having.

Currently everyone is in the mead hall waking up for the new day. I'm not sure what @The Large Dumbo has planned as his character is on his own again and recently met @Aalakrys character. No real party ties have been made just yet either.

Your character sheet looks good, really interested to see an atypical barbarian. As for extra gold, since you'd just be joining is say it's up to the remaining original party member on whether or nor to share any. However he does have knowledge of other jobs as well that may pay.

I put the restriction on the books since these are the books I actually own, aside from some small stuff from dnd beyond as individual purchases.

I remember now that Mordenkianen's tomb of foes was included in the list of books for races.

I knew I linked the first OCC post for the reasoning that I'd forget something.

Heyo, saw your interest check. I'd be down for joining. I have no idea what to expect from this module though I'm pretty sure Frostmaiden is a ship and we're somewhere cold. Anything in particular I should know before I submit a sheet beyond what's allowed?

Well your right in that it is in the bitter cold. The Frostmadien is the Goddess of winter and the group is in Icewind Dale. The First post of the OCC should have all the restrictions. Xanathars Guide to everything, Players Handbook, and Eberron rise from the last war are the books in allowing for race/class/spell/feat picks from.

Looking for two to three more players for the game in running in the site here.

It's ment to be more of a slower paced game for people that have busier schedules.

For simplicity I will still post requirements here as well.

• I prefer character sheets on mythweavers or d&d beyond.
• Please stick to Players Handbook, Xanathars Guide to everything and Eberron rise from the last war, for classes, subclass, spells, and feats. These are the source books I have and will use.
• Use of Mordenkianen's tomb of foes for player races will be allowed.
• Character secrets will be available to players. I will DM people the list to choose from. It can be chosen randomly or simply picked. Some have no direct benefit, others may be a benefit or a hindrance.
• Players will start at level two.
• Everyone starts with cold-weather clothing as well as their classes starting gear. Or starting wealth if you should choose that instead.
• Attributes will be rolled. 4d6 drop the lowest, and if you so choose you can reroll 1s.
• I intend on using the milestone method for leveling up rather than xp. Less to track for yall.

Currently the party is in Good Mead after completing a quest to find and bring a chwinga back. Three of the party that had gone on that quest have left the group however. I will give time for people to make new character sheets and will try to keep this updated with where the party is.
