Current I just realized my name is uncaptialized from before we moved. Apparently instead of being an important person, I am now just a random NPC... *sad panda*

Been a while, but let's see what trouble I can stir up on RP Guild. ^.^

Bio

"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead." -Oscar Wilde

Onwards to a new bio!~

So, the types of role-plays I enjoy most? Romance first, adventure second and if you can mix the two together - you're my hero, forevers. I also love fantasy, enjoy sci-fi, interested in steampunk, and can usually find my way around 'slice of life' types.

About me? Very, very simple ... and pay attention; I am a lesbian, girly-girl, nerdy gamer. However you feel about that, that's who and what I am. So in turn, my personas (or characters) are also lesbians, more feminine / submissive, and if in modern or sci-fi RPs, usually a gamer of some sort. \(^.^)/ Also, I love and adores kittes. <3 So sometimes I like to play cat girls, but worry not for I consider myself someone who skirts around causal to advanced. Character development is my world, yo.

Also you might hear me talk about my wife from time to time, but I'm also polyamorous, so there's that as well. In short I don't judge and I'm open to friendly chats, RP offers (if I have room) and otherwise any other questions or comments. <3

RP Guild Family
Wholockgal - My wife! Who is a huge Dr. Who & Sherlock fangirl.
Nallore - Invited me to an awesome RP and became my friend. <3 (Always asks me what I want to talk about. xD)
Caits - My unofficial sister. She doesn't know yet, unless she reads this. =3
Soufflegirl123 - Lover of Dr. Who and always says hi to me whenever I join chat. ^.^

@lydyn Just to check before I post in IC: an orb of light does not approach Tylan, right?

Right, haha, forgot about that - see? This is why we discussed this before hand!~ Just put up a post of him doing whatever he is doing and that'll help me come up with something for him. ^.^

@lydyn should Mylisant show up a bit after all the others because the whole crossing oceans and all or for plots sake is she going to show up at the same time

The idea was that... basically write whatever you want about how the hero is following the light, then my second post would be what they see when they finally arrive. So yeah, some time skips are bound to happen. This intro post is meant to give a feel for your character before meeting up. This goes for everyone. ^.^

Dang, I was too late. I guess I'll just follow the story then, since it's really interesting.

Is there any chance that this will be open again in the future?

Definitely possible if someone drops out. ^.^

Tonight seemed like the gentle breeze had been seasoned with a pinch of calm, the sunset sprawling across the sky and lazily coloring it with beautiful oranges and deep purples. Cerylia couldn't help but let out a relaxed sigh, watching the pretty exchange slowly change to night. She was perched on a big tree's branch, enough to hold her weight as she dangled one leg, her other curled up to her chest as she hugged it loosely. A long bow was snugly strapped to her back, but she wore it so often that she hardly noticed it's presence anymore, even twisting and moving as if it was a part of it.

She had opted to not making a camp before nightfall today and instead wanted to take the time to appreciate the awe of it all. Only a few days ago she was in conflict with a few of the loggers, forcing herself to pull her bowstring back until they suddenly realized who she was, finding that their axes weren't really a match for the 'Ranger Lord.' It wasn't hard, but the situation had been high strung with tension and arguments and those types of things always put Cerylia on edge. She was glad for the respite.

The ranger's attention was quickly torn from the horizon when she noticed a bright light floating back and forth about fifty feet away. It was swaying almost like someone was holding a lantern, but it was easy for her sharpened eyes to tell it was nothing of the sort. Instead it was a single orb, floating of it's own will, hovering around in circles until it suddenly shot towards her. She dropped backwards, landing on her feet as she unstrapped her bow, and drew back in arrow with a quickness that was beyond any normal human. She aimed right at the orb with caution, but as it approached, it slowed to crawl as if trying to comfort her.

After a few moments of staring at each other (assuming an orb of light could stare), Cerylia hesitatingly quivered her arrow, letting the orb come up to her and circle around her. It was almost acting like it wanted to play, whatever it was. It wasn't magic but nor was it any sort of creature she had ever heard of. Pursing her lips as she straightened up, she thought to herself, 'a messenger from Jergal, mayhaps?' As if reading her mind, it shot northwards and then stopped, spinning in circles. It was acting as if it wanted her to follow. Cerylia only took a few more moments to make sure before starting to walk in it's direction.
All over Iliviace

A similar situation was happening for others. It would approach various legendary figures, spinning and circling them, knowing exactly when to calm down and when to act playful - all for the purpose of enticing each to follow the strange, mysterious light. For each and every one one of them, as soon as they started to follow, it would go in whatever direction that was closest to the mountains. It didn't happen at the same time, but rather they appeared in the exact manner and timing as to have each of the heroes meet at a specific place at the same exact time...
Voting Time!~

This is how this is going to work. Look over each of the character sheets. Try and examine their entire sheet and imagine how they'd interact with your character and the entire group as a whole. We should all be aware enough that not all the characters are going to be bundles of rainbows and best friends forever - especially at the start, but we do need individuals that have some motivation or drive beyond not only working with a group but also fighting whatever major evil is coming their way. Who would be best to fit in?

After you've decided, PM your first choice and second choice to me (this is to prevent influence and possible arguments). You may provide justifications if you want or leave it blank - whatever you want to do. I will then tally all the votes together and let everyone know in the OOC who has been picked by majority vote. Another note is that I will not be voting myself, at all, so it is solely dependent upon the approved players.

Without further ado, here are the CS links;

Eamon Amantea - urukhai
Ajax Diagorides - Zero Hex
Asher - Earnest Evans
Jade Owl - Jerkchicken
Damien - Knight of Doom

Well if you are truely in need of an extra character I suppose I might suffice. So i would need to create both a kingdom and a legendary hero of some sort to get started?

Oh, we already have like 5 people trying to apply, haha... sorry.

<Snipped quote by lydyn>

Take care~!

Feel free to lurk around though. ^.^

Back, obviously. I'm going to gather all of the CSs. It's up to you guys if you want to change votes based off of revisions. Also, I'll post the IC sometime today or tomorrow and finally, votes will be tallied on Saturday (USA Time). I think that's pretty fair. ^.^
@lydyn

I thought about it and despite a near completed character, I do not want to join.

I'm going to leave that spot open for one who can be a bit more active.

I do, sincerely, wish you all the best! It is such a lovely idea!

Aw so sorry to hear that. *hugs* thanks for trying though! I'll be back in like an hour... Lunch time!~
Hey guys, question time!~

I have three choices;
• Start the story without a 10th character and include them later whenever they are accepted, finding some reason they'd be in the group's path.
• Start some of the story (only first posts) and then wait for a 10th character to be selected
• Wait for people to get character sheets done and select a 10th character before starting the story

Please let me know which one you'd prefer, thanks!~

(P.S. Who wants to see Cerylia without a shirt? ... jk. Mostly. :p)
I respect your judgement, but I still fear that, in the case of a player dropping, there wouldn't be an easy way to make up for their loss.

Whatever happens, I strongly hope those of you who are accepted decide to stick with the RP! :

Well, unless people have stopped reading... they should know I'm looking for dedicated players. I can certainly make another announcement reminding everyone if it would make you feel more comfortable. ^.^
@lydyn, I'm not quite sure if a strict 10 slots for the whole RP is a good idea. Considering how this is a collaborative effort, if any one player were to suddenly drop due to real life issues (and this is almost a given for this time of year, finals are a nightmare to some people!), the results would be disastrous.

Considering how all the characters will start off separated from one another, I feel that letting everyone join (assuming their sheets are acceptable) and seeing who stays with the RP long enough to join up with the group would be best.

Speaking as a veteran roleplayer, a relatively nonlinear story like this works best with a plethora of players, as each of them can continue the story even in your absence.

It's not exactly nonlinear... and I'm likely to have them meet up pretty quickly actually. This isn't a sandbox world, I'm sorry if you got that idea, because there's a definite quest and goal to the role-play. Yes, people could drop and that'd be sad, but with the level of players here... I believe we could find a way to move onwards and easily include new players if that need should arrive.

The point of ten players/characters is because it's not a sandbox world - I can't realistically manage more than ten people, possibly giving them all individual attention (depending on the scenario). Also, in some cases, they could move on without me... but since this is more akin to a D&D ran campaign (with plenty of wiggle room for subplots, etc), I'd imagine they could only get so far.
@lydyn im assuming we pm you our vote ^.^ give me like 3 hours to read all the sheets and I shall have an answer!

lol, I love your enthusiasm about helping, but... please re-read this line; "You will get a first and second choice once I've presented all the CSs in one post." :p So be patient for the CSs to all be finished.
