PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Standing at 4'3 ft., Chara has a boyish and thin build, with a slightly feminine complexion that confuses others when it comes to their gender often. Wearing a dorky pale green and cream stripped sweater, chocolate brown pants and matching shoes with light brown socks, they have short light brown, almost auburn hair, peach skin with rosy cheeks, and hazel eyes.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Long ago, a young child climbed Mt. Ebott and fell into the underground. There, they were taken in by the Dreemurrs (or "The Royal Family" if your formal) as their own child.

They gave hope to the underground, that one day, the monsters could break the barrier and live along side the humans peacefully.

But the human fell ill from consuming buttercups. On their death bed, they expressed their desire to see the golden flowers in their village, before passing away. And with their adoptive brother, Asriel, absorbing their soul, they carried their own body to the surface.

The other humans saw them and attacked, thinking that the monster killed a child. The human wanted to fight back, to survive, but Asriel wanted to give the other humans mercy. So before they could be killed there, they fleed back underground, where they finally turned to dust..

Years later, Chara woke up from death.

At first, they were confused. Why were they brought back to life, without a soul? Then they saw Frisk, who had a soul of determination just like theirs. So they joined the other human through their trek through the underground as a sort of "narrator" and guide.

But then, Frisk started to slaughter the underground, making Chara uneasy at first. Once they arrived at Judgement Hall however, something inside Chara had changed. So they "assisted" the other human in battle, and once they gained control of Frisk, finished the job.

In the void, chara formally introduced themself to Frisk, and the anomaly that was behind it all. But the other human didnt want to erase the world in the end. They didnt understand. Why, after all they went through, would the other human throw away their progress? So Chara erased the world themselves.

But Frisk stayed in the abyss neverless. So after a while, chara made a deal with them. They bring back their world for the other human's soul. Frisk agreed to the offer, but something happened.

Instead of waking up back in the underground, Chara came back to life, with a soul, and in a different world. With their locket, a toy knife, and a faded ribbon, they made their way to 2fort.

CHARACTER CAPABILITIES

~SKILLS~

Adaptable Fighter: Chara can fight with anything they can use as a weapon. A toy knife, a leather glove, and even a notebook and ballet slippers.

Proficient Dodger: From their time in the underground, Chara has gained experience in dodging attacks from other enemies. But they can still get hit if distracted.

~SPECIAL ABILITIES~

"Checkpoint": A small shining star. With their determination, Chara once had the ability to Save and Erase progress in the timeline. Now with their world gone, the savepoint now acts as a sort of respawn point. But the respawn process is random, it could either take a few minutes, or three hours. And even so, they cant respawn without a consequence, to them or others..

~Perks~

"Act >> Check":When "checking" an enemy, Chara can evaluate their overall ATK, DEF, and a few facts about the enemy they know. But they can sometimes fib, like how Sans was "The Easiest Enemy", when his speed had outmatched Frisk's.

LOVE:When Chara defeats an enemy, they gain EXP, or execution points. With enough exp, their Level Of Violence increases, and they grow stronger. But as their LV increases, the chance of their genocidal tendencies returning grows..

~Faults~

Much to learn: They may know a good bit of information, but Chara still has to learn more about others, especially with arriving at 2fort.

Memories of Genocide: After the genocide run in their world, Chara had grown abit paranoid for a repeat. Everytime they hold a stronger weapon, or their LOVE increases, their urge to kill comes back. They can resist, but not when their tired or weakened. It can also make them unstable, quick to anger, and a tad psycotic.

~Weaknesses~

Even though Chara is skillful, they're still only a child, and can get hurt easly if they aren't careful enough. They still have alot to learn, and can get reckless at times.

Reimu Hakurei (Unfinished)

Shrine Maiden of Paradise

Personality: Her personality is straightforward, optimistic, and a bit curious. She's quick to anger if offended, but just as quick to offer help to those in need. According to Komachi, Reimu has an innocent heart that can't truly hate anyone. While rather lazy in her free time, she's highly devoted to her duties as the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, resulting in a "shoot first and ask questions later" attitude to youkai extermination. This makes her known to exterminate youkai indiscriminately, regardless of how much of a threat they represent to her or others. One example is Tokiko, who was ambushed by Reimu while she was, in Reimu's own words, "reading and minding her own business".

Apparently, however, she actually helps youkai in trouble when it really matters. For instance, in the events of Silent Sinner in Blue, she kept Reisen (disguised as an earth youkai-rabbit) at her place to help healing her injuries, giving her the futon she uses to sleep and even going to Eientei to inform its residents that a wounded rabbit was at her shrine.

It's been stated that Reimu treats everyone the same, whether they're humans, youkai or gods, giving them no particular respect or disrespect. This habit has caused her to inadvertently befriend many youkai she defeats. While she tries to keep youkai away from her shrine, this is because it makes it harder to do her job rather than because she dislikes them. At the end of the symposium (in Symposium of Post-mysticism), when Reimu goes to break it up, Miko notes that though Reimu says she wants to eliminate all the youkai, she actually just wants to attain a peace in Gensokyo that doesn't require violence, like the others present wish.

-Flight:
While flight is extremely common among inhabitants of Gensokyo, Reimu's ability extends beyond that. She can use this power to teleport short distances, but rarely seems to be aware that she's doing so. The ultimate expression of this ability is Fantasy Nature, which allows Reimu to float up high and become out of reach from enemies' attacks while active; this ability was considered too powerful for use as a spell card until Marisa Kirisame gave it a name and time limit.

-Aura manipulation:
It's stated in the omake.txt of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil that Reimu can control the natural spirits of living things, an ability which isn't listed in any source afterwards. No clear instance of this ability has been displayed in canon.

-Powers as the Hakurei Shrine Maiden:
As the Hakurei shrine maiden, Reimu can handle the Hakurei Yin-Yang Orbs, and is trained in youkai extermination techniques as well as standard duties like performing blessings. Reimu is also capable of invoking Gensokyo's native gods into her body, but she isn't well-trained enough to do so reliably.

-Barrier techniques:
Reimu displays great aptitude with magical barriers (beyond that normally associated with shrine maidens), presumably related to her work in maintaining the Great Hakurei Barrier. Among her techniques are barriers that explode, push enemies (or herself), or act as portals for her other attacks. Reimu is capable of dismantling barriers and seals too complex for Marisa Kirisame and Patchouli Knowledge to understand, with what Marisa calls her "cheat technique".

Flandre Scarlet (Unfinished)

Appearance:

Sister of the Devil

Personality: Flandre is normally nice and quiet. She was described as "rather nuts", and although she doesn't often get angry, she is quite strange, which makes it difficult for others to understand her. In Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red, it's suggested that she isn't very good at talking to other people. Her friendship toward humans is very low.

Species:Vampire

Ablities: While it is obvious as a vampire, Flandre possesses superhuman capabilities just like Remilia Scarlet, such as enhanced physical strength, with the destructive power of oni and the nimbleness of tengu, as well as a vampire's bodily and regenerative ability. She can swing an oversized sword, thought not as quickly as she would like to. Since she doesn't know the proper way to attack humans, she is unable to go easy on them and blows them away without a trace.

-Destroying absolutely anything and everything:
Flandre can destroy anything she wants, which is truly a frightening ability with no real weaknesses. By moving the "eye" of the object, where the tension is highest, and by attacking this eye, she is able to destroy the target. She is able to move the "eye" of anything into the middle of her hand, then she pours her power into it or in other words, she crushes the "eye" and unconditionally destroys the target with just a squeeze. She states that everything has an "eye" and that she has those "eyes" in her hand. She destroyed a meteor with a single hand and without touching it, where Flandre stated that she "went squeeze and it went boom".

This usage of ability was never shown other than in Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red. Everything that is made for her to play with ends up broken, which may mean why she doesn't have many playmates, to which it's recommended to never meet with her.

-Cloning herself:
Flandre is able to clone herself as seen in one of her spell cards, where she creates 3 clones that helps her in the battle. The clones attack as they like which could mean they're able to think independently to some grade. It's in the category "Slave Type" so they're under the command of the original Flandre.

How do you feel about the level of character diversity you’ve experienced?

On the topic of relationship crazy lesbians, I do find it both interesting and disturbing that I've come across so many non-hetrosexual characters in my time on RPG guild. I mean I would expect a magical girl roleplay to contain a lot of gay woman, but they seem to crop up almost everywhere. Their sexuality seems to get brought up or hinted at during their first few posts and then they're off to hook up. I wonder if this is wish fulfillment or something else.

How do you feel about the level of character diversity you’ve experienced?

On the topic of faceclaims, I have a bit of a rule for myself to go by. "Never use the same FC/character twice." It also applies to faceclaims others already were or are using. Bit of a stretch, but hey, it works.

In general, I try to go for any ones that seem to grab my interest, concept-wise and all, so results may vary. I love to try and experiment with stuff when it comes to making character, try and get out of my comfort zone, ya know?
