Should also mention the gross amount of bots that are currently plaguing the Introduce Yourself threads, by the by?

"...To a successful operation. Right."

Finn would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous, facing something like this. The Crab Rave was one thing, but to have a false godhead able to perform the Ten Plagues of Egypt, as if the heavens decided to bring forth judgement to his home, wasn't exactly something he can fry up alone. And yet, the events beforehand were still fresh in his mind. Ashley and him had to hold off investigating Dante's until they can defeat or drive the Holy Diver off. The boy felt a bit hesitant to be there. What if he screwed up again? What if they failed, because of his foolishness? Maybe he was overthinking again, but an event like this had much more weight than Justin.

The final plague would cause a genocide. Worser still, this meant his own sister was in danger to this...thing.

No. He had to be there. Stoping that fanged bastard is one thing, but this was personal. To many, he'd guess.

The rain began to pick up further once Fritzi's message concluded. The Timekeeper didn't have an umbrella unfortunately, so he simply pulled his hood over his head as he hurried to the precinct. His new puppet would have to stay hidden in his pocket for a little bit longer. Mary had entrusted Eddy to him for extra help in this fight, and he got some new equipment in case he was forced into a corner. All else fails, shoot 'em in the head, right? Maybe this time, things will be different. And it'd be fucking sick if he managed to actually kill this Behemoth too!

Don't get your hopes up.

The Timekeeper hurried inside the building and up to the rooftop to find someone else arrived early. His eyebrows rose. "Oh, hey Mr. Howard!" Despite the grim setting they were in or the fact that the kid was soaked at that point, the robotic esper politely smiled at him. Finn walked up next to him rather quickly, but that certainly isn't cause he saw that he had an umbrella. "Not sure how effective I'll be, but I'll back you guys up the best I can."

Albedo @Lugubrious, Prisoner @XoXKieroBombXoX

Thank goodness, it worked.

Frisk covered her eyes with an arm at the restorative light, and quietly let out a relieved sigh once she saw her ally had regained his body. Prisoner should be fine enough to finish this search and rescue now, atleast as far as she could tell. They should still grab something for him to ride in when he loses his next body though. She nodded to Albedo in response to his noting the effects, then looked back to the headless warrior, who as expected was confused but nonetheless more aware of the differing area. "I'll explain what I can on the way up." She told him.

The heals didn't stop there too. Turns out, Prisoner had what the woman wanted to look out for, and was willing to let her and the alchemist use it. Right, they took a heavy beating didn't they. "Thanks." Giving him a warm smile she took two swigs of the healing flask, then passed it to Albedo. Frisk lightly tapped her foot against the ground. Good, she won't have to tolerate a broken bone any futher.

Soon enough their treik up continued. Frisk took the moment to catch Prisoner up to speed on things, Galeem, the World they were in, everything she learned from Linkle and then some. "When anyone or thing dies here, their bodies eventually turn to ash. But they leave spirits behind. They're kind of like the souls back in my world, but I'm not sure if anything like that is in where you're from. You can crush them to get new stuff like this," She held up the bow she obtained from the second ambush. Though it's kind of useless without arrows. Maybe once she regains access to the Justice trait, she can work the ranged magic into being a substitute. Frisk put it aside for now, then motioned to herself. "Or fuse with them to get new abilites, asides from a slight cosmetics change. I ended up fusing with Melony's soul- Er, spirit, for example. That's why I ended up older. Even shocked myself, believe it or not." She chuckled. "But her Pokemon, my Pokemon, can't be without their trainer. I can handle how Teba reacts, but for now we have bigger things to worry about."

Looking back, Frisk couldn't help worry about how the others were doing back at the camp. Especially Joel, the poor kid. Hopefully Linkle hadn't lost to her curse yet. After a short moment, she held a hand over her throat. "Man, it's weird talking so much like this..."

Of course, they didn't have to walk far to find more enemies. She found the li'l brrs cute, but made sure to avoid contact with them. The bats and elementals though were a different story. Oddly enough Frisk's demeanor in battle seemed different. More stern, unsparing to the creatures that dared harm her allies. She bore no hesitance in ridding the bats with a hearty Bonk! of Vorpan, while she acted as more as support against the ice elementals; Blocking their cold magic with her own defensive means. She collected a couple of the spirits left in their wake and crushed them in hopes to get some arrows. Or at least something useful. The rest can go to the other two.

And yet...

The twin wolf-demons didn't go unnoticed on Frisk's end. In fact, she kept an active eye on them in case they tried something funny, bearing only a glare at their direction. The trio ended up finding a cave. One Albedo hypothesized her Pokemon could be hiding in. That was enough to get her to act. "We can try and lose our dear stalkers inside. Or at the very least buy us more time to brainstorm a counterattack." She told the alchemist, more than willing to head in.

@Sonnambula

Celina's gonna bunk with Nessie most likely, izzat ok?

Lupin chuckled at Olivia's reaction. Though as they talked, it appeared a small crowd had gathered around the new girl. Man, animal eared magicals really must be a rarity around here. Regardless, she did her best to keep up with them. The beauty had asked her another few questions. But before she could answer, the wolf girl felt an arm wrap around her waist and carry her off. Okay. This was happening, she guessed. Blinking, she waved fairwell-for-now to Olivia, then turned her head to her apathetic snatcher who introduced herself as Silvia. Guess Celina didn't have to worry about finding a partner after all.

When asked if she would rather walk to the library after a moment, she simply shrugged. "I can walk."

Days passed as Lupin gradually got settled into her new school life. She got assigned the same classes as other new students, even Olivia surprisingly! Dorming arrangements she didn't mind what they'd settle with, but it'd take a bit to decorate her side and such, what with her spending a good bulk of her time training with Stripes. Something she learned quick was that despite the group as a whole working as a team, the tabby's power sorta goes against that. A "Less is more" type of deal. Luckily, Silvia and her worked well despite the drawback. Few words were spoken between them, mostly from Celina wanting to get to know her new teammate.

Then soon enough, Lupin was going off on her first patrol with Marrywell's finest. She walked up next to Stripes, tucking her ears back under her hood and quietly nodding to the others. Ozma turned out to be the one leading, her and Maria giving out similar speeches. Admittedly, she wasn't paying much attention to that. She did get the gist though, be careful, work together, that sort of thing.

Silvia and Suzuya talked a bit about Pizza for some reason. A post-op lunch did sound good to the wolf, if the flesh of Pageless wasn't enough to satiate this time. Then the former told her they should split up from the main group if anything crops up. Lupin nodded, idly twirling one of her knives in her hand. "Bullet hell, got it. Ready when you are." With a flick of the wrist, the single knife seemingly divided into three, resting inbetween her fingers.

"I can be active too. >:^"
- Valerie

With everyone and their mothers going out of town for something or another, Valerie opted to stay in Penrose in case something happened. Besides, she couldn't exactly hack into the security cams in Bolorton without being there. Not yet. Maybe some day when she's stronger. For now, the android girl decided to step away from her post and look for some scrap metal to use for her supercomputer.

Or maybe just stuff to build shit with, who cares?

Her search eventually let to a nearby scrapyard. Valerie's metal magic allowed her to scrounge through the heaps upon mills for anything that could prove useful. But she still kept an eye on things, the light of her HUD subtely flickering between screens and the works.

Then someone decided to say hello. Wordlessly, Valerie's head spun over to look at Iron Mouse. Until she mentioned she was tracking down a certain undead boy. What the hell did you get yourself into, Kyle... Her dumbfounded expression said enough. As if in response, the new girl then went on to explain that she didn't have a patron, and was thinking either Oliver or one of his acquaintances could help her get a new one.

"It's only a temporary trip out of town. One of the neighboring cities are under attack, so I wouldn't be surprised if anyone else goes to try and play hero." Valerie explained with a shrug. "We're both under the same patron if that's what you're guessing. But...I'll be fair with you, shit's tense in our group at the moment. If you still wanna place your bets on her, I can call the boss and she'll swing by in a short bit."

"Do Plus Two invitations exist?"
"I feel a sudden disturbance in the force. Six what the fuck did you do-"
- Finn and Oliver

With Finn having to focus on the road ahead, Oliver had to be the one to answer Justine's question. The ghost turned his head to look back at her. "Wonderland's being a prick to another town and we're gonna kick their butts. Wanna come?" He casually answered.

"Was hoping we'd be early enough to intercept them..." Finn growled under his breath. He then explained what he could to Justine, the possible hostage situation and the possibility they'll have to help evacuate Bolorton's citizens, the bombing and the livestream. "We gotta keep an eye out for the spades and the clubs, clubs are the usual soldiers but spades are the specialists, they'll be harder to fight. Hearts are the leaders, but that's kind of obvious isn't it? Their weaponry is enchanted, they can penetrate through combat armor. Got all that?"
Must a perfectly good thread get killed like this? Sheesh.
