Should also mention the gross amount of bots that are currently plaguing the Introduce Yourself threads, by the by?

So you only need to make two posts before deciding this site is a godless land? That"s gotta be a new record right?

Up, and up, and up they went. While Nadia made sure Omori could keep up, he didn't feel too worried. He could be pretty fast on his own time, but all the same this was unchartted territory to him, unlike the more experience Hatty. Just how far did this place go? How high? A longer glance over the railing would make the weaker-willed nauseous. Thank goodness heights don't bother the boy anymore.

And it just. Kept. Going!

Omori watched as Hatty regained Nadia's attention, pointing towards the way to her desired destination. A race huh? The feral knelt down to let Omori ride on her shoulders, to which he hopped on in one swift motion. He's done enough running for a bit. His arms were gently crossed above Nadia's head.

Hehe. It feels nice being tall-

The monochrome youth snapped out of his thoughts with widened eyes soon as Nadia broke off into a sprint. Not even a second passed, and Hatty speed by on... Okay how the crap did she get a scooter that fast?? More sudden was the appearance of two new racers, who Omori recognized as part of Kamek's fleet. The small turtle-like kid zipped after Hatty, and when Nadia slowed down, the black haired girl walked next to them. She, Rika, then introduced herself to the boy.

He nodded when she asked if he was Kamek's new acquaintance. "Omori." He simply introduce himself in return. "Nice to meet you too." The trio arrived at the central shaft, where Hatty and Jr. were resting with a couple of juice boxes. After regrouping, Omori hopped down off of Nadia, looking up at the shaft like she was. They all approached the huge-looking elevator, the boy stepping on after the feral, then they were joined by another. A woman named Bella, and a friend of the others from what Omori could tell.

He remained ever the silent one as they talked, catching up on current happenings and getting an explanation on how the elevator works. This apparently-haunted thing could take them to the top floor? Maybe he could see Otherworld from up there! Rika and Jr. were ready to head up, and no doubt Hatty was wanting to see too. So when they waited for an answer from him...

Omori casually pointed a finger up, glancing around the current party.

"Going up?"

Take that as a yes.

One by one the rest of the agents arrived on the rooftop. The Timekeeper nodded to them in greeting, then turning his attention back into the sky. It probably wasn't a surprise Dr. Moller and Binky were going to be late. He could only hope they last until they arrive. Minutes gone by and no sign of their target so far. Uncontent with simply sitting there doing nothing, the boy let Eddy out of his pocket, resting him in his free hand.

Eddy tried to shake the rain dropplets off him, appearing unamused. "This Diver guy sure is taking his sweet time..." The puppet glanced around, then back at Fable. "Think we had time to get an umbrella?"

The boy in turn rose a brow at him. "What? Worried the blood's gonna leave a stain?" He asked him.

Eddy snorted. "Look at yourself, kid! I'm surprised you're not shortcircuiting with how drenched we got." He responded in a snicker. Fable sighed.

"We have other things to worry about, Ed. We wouldn't have time to run to a store that happened to sell umbrellas, much less one that hasn't scrammed cause of this shit. Once we're through here, I'll see about getting any blood off you, alright?" He reassured him, then going back to keeping an eye on the sky without another word. Yet his thoughts seemed to wander. Lydia's life was on the line here, as far as he knew, but he couldn't help worry about his parents too. Fable frowned. "I hope they're somewhere safe..." He muttered to no one. He'll have to come up with an excuse if his family was looking for him right now.

Eddy noticed the boy's change in mood, and with an empathic frown opened his mouth to offer some reassurances. But then something caught his eye across the street. The puppet scowled towards him. "We got company."

Finn's heart dropped once he looked up to who just so happened to drop by.

Justin was here.

Why?

Betty was here.

Why here?! Why NOW?!?

As if things were bad enough!

Finn couldn't help trembling under Betty's scornful glare. He couldn't help it, cause Baphomet wasn't the only demon he feared. It took a bit of will not to look back to the last time he tried to fight Betty, lest he be petrified. The other lady. She must be Pac-A-Fist. Don't tell me she got turned too...? Didn't Binky say espers can resist that brainwash crap?! God, whatever the case was, this only fueled his need, no, desire to bash that cocky grin of Justin's into the pavement. And oh, how his words gratted on the boy's ears. And how he held the two girls, victims close to him as if flaunting undeserved trophies.

He planned all of this.

He planned all of this!!!

Whatever fear that threatened to creep up on Finn faded in an instant. He stopped trembling. If he wasn't truely angry back then...

He was absolutely fucking livid now.

"You detestible son of a bitch, THEY'RE NOT YOURS!!" Finn barked back at Justin, as if Betty and Pac-A-Fist weren't even there. Archs of lighting began to crackle through his body in rage. "So this is it then?! You go into hiding like a pathetic coward until something capable of GENOCIDE rears it's ugly ass, then decide to pop up again, showing off your kidnapees in front of us as if you already WON?! AS IF, JACKASS! To kidnap an innocent girl, innocent PEOPLE is one thing, but her?!" He pointed to Pac-A-Fist, the shook his head in disgust. "You must really have a deathwish... But that's not all the shit you've pulled is there, you sick freak?! The renown from ripping your head off and mounting it on a fence, from behing a hero doesn't matter anymore! I'll kill you even if I have to turn this shithole city on it's head!!"

"We just need to hold out until the boss gets here, no doubt other espers are going to fight the Diver too! Divide the workload, make sure no one gets overwhelmed!" Eddy called out as he and Finn got into a battle-ready stance. And just in time too. The Diver's first spell was set in motion.

...Was that a hint of depravity in the young boy's furious eyes?
