Xi Shi smiled wide as she gazed upon the class. The young lady wore a sleeveless southern temple uniform, similar to that of a tai chi uniform. All a dark blue and included baggy pants and traditional sandles.unlike the girl beside her she was genuinely excited to be here. As she was welcomed she happily waved to a few people before moving to the woman who was to show her around. Here, she punched a fist straight I to her own open palm, tucking her thumbs away and performing a traditional bow. With a wide smile, showing the wide gap between her teeth, which all seemed almost carnivorous in nature, she spoke english, though she seemed to struggle and her accent was very heavy. Her voice was surprisingly deep for a girl. "I am pleased to me you.... we are freinds" she spoke cheerfully before turning to the door, awaiting the other to show her the way.
Name: Xi Shi lou
Appearance: W.I.P.
Age:Between 16

Personality: Xi Shi is very eccentric. Having not learned much of current slang and having had manners never taught to her, Xi Shi comes off as odd do to her child-like wonderment and attitude towards things. She seems oblivious to much of what the world has to offer and values sword fighting like many people do things like social media: something she seems to never be able to stop herself and couldn't see a world without. unashamed of the majority of her actions and obnoxiously loud and chatty, she can easily get on a more refined person's nerves.

year: 1st year

Background: Xi Shi was dropped at the door to a temple in china as an infant. the monks too this as a sign that the refusal of women in their temples was to finally come to an end and so they took her in, raised her as their own and as soon as she could stand on her own started to have her exercise and train. Begrudgingly the masters allowed her to train openly with them at the age of 6, but not believing her to be strong enough to fight with her fist they only taught her the basics of their hand to hand and forced her to learn entirely weapon-based combat. She trained day and night and her skill and determination proved extremely admirable, yet she became more and more of a nuisance in her anger of not being able to train with the others. She was told that she would be shown all she wants to learn under the circumstance that she goes to Claymore academy and returns as their number one pupil. Eager to show her worth and prowess she has entered.

keychain: At the bottom of the wooden blade is a talisman (fulu) made with red silk and embroidered with a golden yellow cloth to make their words. This is a Doaist talisman of strength that is tied around the hilt with leather strips with silverbells at the end if each strip. This functions much like the flail on the end of many weapons in shaolin.

Sword: Xi Shi has brought with her a weapon known affectionately as wu song, after a legendary pilgrim and warrior of china, know for defeating an 800Ib tiger with his bare hands.

This weapons is a reverse grip Zhanmadao, a long bladed Chinese sword with a wide blade, more than 4 inches thick. Hers is particularly thick and dulled in the middle, though extremely sharp towards the top. The weapon is made with a circular guard and the whole this is split down the middle to in fact be two swords that can efficiently be used as one when put together. The blade is made with a bright steel, the pummel and guard made for a tin alloy looking almost like gold. The grip is wrapped in silk to make it easier to grip without chaffing the hand. The whole thing is heavy and hard to use for anyone not trained in it's use.

Other things: Xi Shi has been eating much of the meals prepared in her temples, and as such she has had very little sugar up until now. This has caused her to gain a very intense sweet tooth.
Club: Grapple club (A club the focuses on the use of grapples, disarms and tangled combat in sword fights.
Student Council: She is not on the student council

@sassy1085 Yus!
Blep
@TheUnknowable Probably star trek, but it's more based on who goes to what side for me. I tend to try to fill in the gaps.
@Gisk
That wouldn't be fun, would it?
it'd be a fierce competition of wits and character development.
Yes please
Name- Skip Raymond Lunch
Nickname- Skip lunch in itself is a name worthy of being used affectionately, but he tells people to call him Ray.
Age- 19

Image or Description- Skip is not much of an intimidating figure. A small boy, no taller than 5'3, a wire frame and small, beady eyes and rather smooth shaped head. His hands and feet are rather small and well groomed, his teeth somewhat crooked and a tint of yellow on them. His eyes are bright brown and almost gorgeous. He has a strong and prominent jaw and a crooked and large nose. His hair is cut very short and is very curly. Ray, unlike almost everyone in this group so far, has very tan with what seems like a very slight reddish tint to it, indicating there are Native American ancestors prominent in his blood. His body bears much power in his legs and back but is lacking any prominent muscle elsewhere showing those particular muscles were used much more than the others. Over his left cheek there is a long scar, looking more like a thin indentation and over his arms and legs, there are very slight scars that scatter them. generally, he will be seen wearing an old red baseball cap with a white front that has the logo of the 'RED MAN' Tobacco company. The whole thing is clearly worn and covered in grease, oil, and grist. His torso is covered by a thick white short sleeve shirt that has the same substances covering it as the hat. Over his feet are worn, old sneakers from an off brand and brown socks. His pants are usually some form of grey sweat pants. Though he does require glasses, which he carried with him in a back pocket (They are wireframed and have chews on the back, and the lens' are extremely thick) he rarely wears them. Do to him hitchhiking, he has a large camping backpack with him.

Why you're taking the trip of a lifetime- Ray's great grandfather is nearing his last living days, and Ray would like to say goodbye, thank you, and to get any info about their family he possibly can before the old man 'kicks the bucket'

Personality- Skip isn't one for talking or really being chummy. He usually talks when needed, speaks when spoken to and minds his own business. That being said he is a workaholic, requiring himself to be doing something. He can never just stand by and relax. This will often have him helping others in order to busy himself. He is very respectful and knows his manners to a T, and never seems to falter on them. Despite this, he does have his soft spots, for animals, his family and in particular his father and to offend any of those areas will show him as a violent, aggressive and rude man. He tends to come off a stoic for this: being some sort of fearless, silent and confident man. He is a stubborn man, and when he wants something, he will not stop until he gets something at least similar to that.

Backstory- Skip's parents were odd, his father a Native American who had left the reserve long ago to go after a prospect in New York to try to give his family something easier to live off of. They worked hard, and without a degree or a GED he struggled to actually make money for his family and in his shame ceased to talk with them. He married a young Jewish American and they had Skip. The family really struggled to get by, and at the age of 12 Skip started working odd jobs and garden work for people to try to help get extra cash for his family. This made much of his friendship much more disdained and he felt embarrassed to be with kids who he often worked for their parents. By high school, he was mostly alone and once he was 16 he made his way into auto repair. He no longer hung out with friends, instead of going with his father on small bursts of free time to be taught things his father was taught as a boy and to go hiking and camping. By the time Skip was out of school his family was financially stable but he knew that he'd never get to go to college, as they could never support that sort of money. So, he feels now is the time for him to see the world before he goes into the work force.
