Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

I hate my body.

Why, why, why am i awake?

I can't think who I need to post so I can post effectively mmmm
Oh shoot.

@demous!!!! I forgot to mention you in my last post
@Caits Good night~ And yeah, I want to start exercising more. I do a lot of exercise at work but at home I'm kinda lazy.

Hence why I have a personal trainer XD
@Leslie Hall yay!

I just want it to be good for you!
@Caits
I find icing it for 15 minutes every hour at night before bed, along with a warm shower, tends to lessen the pain. Then again it's more to lessen swelling so if that isn't an issue I am not sure how effective ice is.

Yeah see I don't know what I do to it, but sometimes I just goes out. There's no swelling at least that I know off, it just basically hurts to move even a cm

An I was 13 when it first happened. So heat was the only thing I tried and it helped

<Snipped quote by Caits>

I've trying to train myself to squat whenever I have to pick something up. Working with kids, everything is so close to the ground so I have to do a lot of bending over to pick up shit. That's really awful for my back so I've been attempting to squat with everything I do involving being close to the floor.

Yeah, and also maintaining a good exercise regimen helps keeps your back muscles...well I was going to say tight but that's not it. Ah. Stretchy? Loose? You know what I mean. Every day after a work experience shift i would go to the gym to loosen everything and stretch it all out. This is a simply one you can do anywhere-use a door frame, place your arms either side of it grabbing it, and step through like you have wings so your arms are behind your back-it really stretches it all out nicely.

I need sleep mow
@Leslie Hall glomps

Looks good! I'm always happy to help too!

@Silver Fox
Ice it.
If in doubt, ice lower than the pain.
If memory serves you ice the lower back, and apply heat to the upper back.

I always hear my lower back. Ice never works for me. And the muscle relaxers are just awesome
@Caits
I know I should rest it...but...I get bored.
I mean I injured a muscle in my back a few months back playing hockey (one game got taken out and slammed back first into the ground and damaged something, before the next game slipped over and stretching out which resulted in a tear in one of my muscles) and I played 4/7 games afterwards despite limping off from those 4 XD
I managed to play through it eventually, but I am terrible at managing injuries. Hamstring injury? No problems. Groin strain? Nah should be right.
Back strain? Eh had worse. Fall off a bike and have my hand bandaged due to nasty gash? I still got the other one guys!
Knee injury? I'll walk it off XD
It's gotten to the point of like very expansive warm-ups before sport (like 30 minutes >.>), wearing compression gear no matter the weather, wearing a back and knee brace along with using heat cream on almost every inch of my body XD
And to think....I ain't even 20 yet XD

Me too

Except I'm 24. I have knee problems, ankle problems, my back problems aren't bad lately (no incident for a year and a half!) neck problems and now wrist problems

and I wear compression bandages and carry around a first aid kit

@Caits
Then again I am stumped on knee injuries, I mean coming back from muscle injuries mean I just need to adjust my warm-ups and stretch more or something.
Then with knees...how do you stretch a knee? I am baffled O_O

Google knee stretches and knee strengthen exercises

@Caits Boop

I wrote up the int check if ur interested in reading it. Please forgive the shameless promotion though.

I shall check it out shortly!

@Caits

*wails* my lower back hurts

Aw

huggles

What did you do to make it hurt? Can you get over the counter muscle relaxers where you are? We have one that you can get here called voltarun rapid it's the less concentrated for that you don't need a prescription for. You can also try heat bags (you know those bags full of wheat you can heat up). And rest
@Caits
Nah I have been injured enough to know RICE XD
I twisted it a couple of weeks ago while bowling, I landed awkwardly and it's been stuffed since XD
I didn't notice it till I needed to bowl either....then proceeded to bowl 8 overs (which is 48 deliveries for those who are unfamiliar with cricket, which means I repeated the action of bowling 48 times and the pressure being placed on the knee after each delivery is I believe 10xyour body mass >.>)

Ah. Sounds like you need to rest it for a while. Repetitive movements like that that put strain on an injury can make things a million times worse, and you could end up tearing ligaments, tendons and more.

Of course, what the hell do I know, I've damaged my ankle because of how many times i've fallen and twisted it.
Knee injuries are the worse. I remember when I believe its called a Ligament in my knee went from my knee to somewhere else. i took a step and down i went XD Of course it happened on the day Madagascar came out and my sister really wnated to see it. So iI toughed it out and afterwards cried like a bitch XD

that almost sounds like a dislocation, hope you got it looked at!
My knee is sore.
Turns out when you injury your knee playing cricket it's a bad idea to keep playing cricket XD

Ah, yes.

When did you injury it?

Do I have to teach you RICE? (Rest, ice, compression, elevation). If it's been more then 24 hours, replace ice with heat
