Gabriel ended up shouting, as if that would get his point across. "It may be done, but it isn't over, they could learn from it, but they won't, because all they care about is orders! Orders, orders, orders. Some orders are meant to be questioned, but they don't question them!"
Gabriel spun about, wanting to just run away again, to just go somewhere else, but the only person he even thought of running to was angry at him, so he had no where to go. "You say maybe things will be different, that it's a small maybe. That means things won't be different next time, because all you care about is saving your own skin instead of trying, trying to not kill someone!" Gabriel still found himself yelling, but he didn't care. He didn't care if the whole city heard him.
"All I wanted to do was come back to camp, to help with the mystic beasts, to do something other then sit around and watching the games, to actually be helpful, and now its doubtful I'll even be welcomed back, all because I didn't want to witness a murder, didn't want to be apart of killing someone when the situation didn't warrant it! All because I had sympathy, all because I saw another way that didn't involve fighting! Yes, we had orders, but does that mean we have to willingly kill someone? So no, I don't want to be courteous, I don't even want to be talking with you, but you won't leave me alone, and I can't even go to my brother, because I've screwed things up there. Just like I seem to screw everything up! I don't see why that should be a surprise, or why it should hurt so much that the only time anyone seems to see me is when something like this happens! They didn't even seem to notice that I helped stop the camp from being destroyed, no, no, just that I had the balls to challenge what they were doing! I eat alone, I sit alone, I do everything alone, the few times I've tried, they either haven't seen me, or things just get screwed up! Like now! So yes, I want to whine, yes I want to whinge. I think I'm entitled to, even for a little bit, before trying to continue on, don't you?"
He knew what Argus would say anyway, so he didn't even know why he was letting the words come out his mouth. But they did, and that was that. This whole thing was just pointless.
