Personality: Niesha is a strong willed individual. She has a strong empathy for others, and dislikes people being mistreated. She is kind, caring and everything someone could want in a health professional. She is bright, loyal and dedicated to those she cares about, and she never stops trying to do her best by them, and by herself.
She can be a rather serious individual, contemplating things before she does them. If she becomes angered, it's not someone you would like to see. Treated wrongly, she can have a shocking temper, and if someone she cares about is hurt, she will act furiously.

History Before Outbreak: Niesha was raised in an orphanage, with her twin brother, after their parents were murdered in their home. They were passed from foster home to foster home, until her brother was kidnapped. They never found him, and Niesha was placed back into state care. She was not fostered again, having fallen into a mute state, as well as a deep depression at the loss of her brother. Despite this, she was an A student, top of her class, and received a scholarship for college.
Never having quite got over her brothers kidnapping, Niesha remained closed off, never quite letting people close, until her roommate in college essentially refused to be pushed aside, and over time Niesha opened up. She allowed herself to feel things she hadn't, and to deal with the issues she had, becoming a better person for it. She began to train in archery, became obsessed with cosplay, and learned sword play as well. She became an excellent shot with a bow, and a decent shot with a gun. She never stopped hunting for her brother.
After she got her degree, she received an offer for a job in a small town, and jumped on the opportunity, knowing if she wished to move, experience would be essential in getting a job.
She worked for a time, not paying attention to the news reports about the beginnings of the outbreak. Leaving work one day, she saw a walker, but merely thought they were someone in trouble. She approached, concerned, when it attacked her. Running, she got in her car and fled.
Her town was overrun in hours. Locked in her house, Niesha became to calm herself, and collected things for what could be considered survival, water, matches, clothes, whatever tinned food she had, her first aid supply, guitar, the camping cooker she had, and a torch, as well as her sword, bow and gun, and the ammo for both.
In the morning, she fled, stopping off at the pharmacy, she managed to get in and out, fleeing the dead, she began her journey.
History Since Outbreak:As it was clear to Niesha that she couldn't survive without others, she began to gather people she found on the road, and together with the convey of cars, they survived together, camping where they could, taking refuge in what buildings they could. They first time they lost someone, Niesha thought they would all break. She rallied them, and they kept on going, heading always to one of the big cities, hoping against hope that it would be safe there.
It wasn't. And so they lost more of their people, and it became Nieshas first encounter with becoming a surgeon, as she took a chance and cut a boys arm off, below the elbow, his hysterical mother yelling and crying. She saved his life, and from then Niesha was considered nothing short of a leader.
She led her rag tag group, leading them to open country, thinking they could find a farm, and survive there. They found an abandoned farm, with a few lonely cows, a splattering of chickens, and more importantly, fences. They restored the fences that had been broken, and Niesha began to plan for a life there, thinking of higher, stronger walls, seed and livestock. For a time, they were safe. There were walker sightings, and encounters, but they survived, and their settlement started to become, first the higher thicker and stronger walls, and then power, and fresh water. They took in others, and soon they witnessed the first birth of the place, everyone thought it was a good sign, and for a time, they had peace.
It all ended during a vicious storm, the two years they had spent safe were ruined when a large tree took down a wall. No one found it until the first walker breached the settlement. It was over in hours, and Niesha gathered those that had survived, thinking to rally, but one by one they all left, and Niesha had no choice but to leave as well. Two years she had had hope, but now that was all gone, and she began to wander, avoiding people and walkers a like when she could, and merely continued to exist.
