Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Niesha

location:Parking lot between 10 (medical garden) and Gilbert street---> injured teen, near medical garden

At the sounds of shots, everything seemed to go away for a moment, and Niesha flinched, pushing in front of Kristina as if she could stop any bullets. And then all sound seemed to come back, and Niesha glanced about. those shots had been too close...what if someone was hurt? Cries, screams, a whole community's fears. Unless the dead had learned how to shoot, they were being shot at by humans, alive. Like that one that tried to kill me...that Sophie saved me from. Panic set in. Sophie. Where the hell was she?

"Please let her be okay..." She wasn't aware she had spoken as she heard cries, quite near, from the gardens. Glancing to Kristina, she said "Find some cover. Sounds like people are hurt and you won't be able to run well for cover if they start shooting again" Her tone indicated she didn't want to have to fight on this, as she started off towards the nearest cries.

Finding the teen was easy. Approaching them was the hardest thing in the world. Yet she did, carefully, looking for where the teen was shot, to determine if they were alive or not. A teen turning here...She wished she had her bow. four shots... that meant there could be four possible walkers running about. She had to make sure. Hand wandering to the knife she wore still, if there was even a slim chance at saving the teens life, it had to be taken, didn't it? Still, four shots...who else was hurt? And was there a chance there would be more?

"James" She called out, desperately, "There could be more shots coming...people, the kids especially, should get into cover...And if the kid is okay, I'm not strong enough to get them to the infirmary" Thought of her own safety was gone, right then she didn't care about herself, and she knew there was no way she could lift the kid. Carefully, she crouched by the shot teen, ready to leap back if she had to, and laying a hand on their wrist, If there was a pulse, Niesha would take her shirt off, and using it to put pressure on the wound, resigning herself to donating her clothes today to the community.

Was there...no...she had to believe that Sophie was okay, or she wouldn't be able to do what had to be done. Watching the teen, Niesha held her breath, waiting desperately for the bump of a pulse. please.... The fastest she had seen the dead turn was roughly five minutes. How long did they have, if the kid was dead?

Nyx studied Castor's mouth, and gave a nod "It looks okay, doesn't look like there's any sign of infection. It's just painful, when you think about it, its bits of bone poking through the gums, but once they're out, it will be better"

"I could never overdo it, when it comes to you and Sybil, or any other children we might have" tran said, "I want to help, and make things easier for you and them"

"she seems too, although its a fight sometimes to get the food in her mouth" Sasha said amused, carefully watching Aurilia, she once more stuck food in her mouth when she opened it "I think she thinks it's a game"

"You could feed him, before he tries to grab anything else" Hermia said
That was good ^.^

Cassie nodded, "That's why I'm here too. i want to hunt down the demon that did this to my family. I was going to go to school, and become a doctor, so....may as well become one here, too" She bit her lip, and with a heavy sigh, she said "I was born with a mark on my hand. No one's really told me what demon it is...I don't think they want to dwell on it...But its no father of mine" She slowly took her gloves off, revealing the mark on her hand.

"I've worn gloves since I was a kid. My mother told me to tell people I wear them as the result of burns when I was a kid. Lying became second nature"
coughs

So I wondered where my post went for another roleplay.

ANYWAY

I finally made my way here....

"It's okay"

The words were slurred, and the former Agent wasn't sure she had actually managed to get them out, everything was numb, and she found it was almost like being trapped in her own mind, but Caits was alright with that. It meant she had succeeded in breaking the case. It meant Gerswhin was free.

"if I have to die, I'd rather die free then one of their pawns..."

At least she would die doing what was right.

"it's okay, Gerswhin"

It meant...it meant, if there was any after life, she could tell Dioxide they had managed to get Cody and Gerswhin out. Or give them the chance to do it for themselves.

"You're a good person, Gerswhin, no matter what they make you"

She let her eyes closee, imagining, for one brief moment, all the 'subjects' that had come before, and her hand in them.

"I deserve to die. I brought so many here..."

the choas Cody was causing spurred him on. cody didn't think, right then, that nothing short of a head or heart shot would kill him. As long as his heart was beating, he was sure he would heal. He had before. And he would do it again.

After everything, it was easy to find his way to the labs. And even easier to destroy them. And then it was onwards, towards the one last thing that could bring the operations back together. the sounds of the reeniforments, so far away, yet so close, did not worry Cody.

They couldn't stop him. And they wouldn't be able to stop Gerswhin, either.

Big Boss was his target.

Oh.

oh god.

She reminds me of my Purdy...gone to puppy heaven now.
Kalinda reached up a hand, and cupped Kyle's cheek, "Don't doubt yourself. My powers didn't help me break free. There were birds chirping" She didn't think she made any sense, and she closed her eyes, drawing in a few deep breaths, before bracing herself. It was hard to force herself to rise, and she braced herself against kyle as she found herself dizzy.

"And thats why my empathy is my least favorite power. Can you get us down? The other students might need a hand and I don't trust myself to fly down" Right then, it was all she could do to stay standing. "To be honest, I didn't know I could do that, like that"

She gave kyle a weary smile, "Come on"

She wanted to get back to the classroom and find Zack and Griffin, knowing griffin he would make sure they were both okay, but still, she worried. But she didn't trust herself to go through the shadows, fearful she might just pass out and lose Kyle in there.

'Sir, the anomoly has broached the security, all is disconnected for the moment. It's believed she has entered the school, wave lengths suggest a new signal during the last few moments.' Connor listened as Ignot spoke "her illusionary powers seems to be coming into play"

You couldn't not live with Tony Stark and not know what was going on, but aside from that, Connor had programs of his own that helped to keep up to date with what was going on, even if they were rumors. Yet even he could forget things.

illusionary powers...

He raised his voice, "It's an illusion. Break it, once you know, it goes away" The key was to break it, and each person had to figure it out for themselves.

Moving through the classroom, using the desks, and sometimes her class mates as a guide, Phoebe searched for Katherin. Right now, everything seemed quite, aside from the laughter and the darkness. there didn't seem to be any fighting, which was good. For now.

"Katherin"

the darkness seemed unnatural, but there was nothing she could do about it. She just wanted to know her friends were okay. laying her hands on the desks, it was easy to manuvoer, but she had this strange feeling that they were being watched.
