Kalinda could feel the situation getting out of hand. Griffin always kept his emotions at bay, letting them build up, but she knew the anger was there, and Kyle was just making it worse. "Kyle" Kalinda said softly, "Griffin is a protector. There's a reason why he takes over, pushing Zack to the back. I've seen him fight, seen him track. He can back up his words" She kept her voice soft, her tone calm, "Griffin's the fighter, Zack is the socaliser. If Griffin's here, it means he perceives you as a threat. And you aren't making it any better" She said.
She turned to Griffin, and said "You know no one can kidnap me. If they tried, I'd just go into the shadow realm. Even if they can supress that, they can't supress the fact that if they touch me, I can unleash a torrent of emotions on them and get away." She said, trying to defuse the situation, "I like being near Kyle. You know I've had trouble with control, and he has a way of lessoning emotions around me. Theatrical people often have the more powerful emotions. Just like being around you, it helps. And...he's a good person...funny and sweet. And if I have to tie you both up and force you to get along, I will. You and Zack are important to me. And kyle is too. I won't have you guys butting heads every time you are around each other"
