Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Penny held Jasmine, knowing there was nothing she could truly do for the girl. After a long time, she said softly "We'll go back. We'll get some things, and then come back, okay? We'll give them a proper burial" She wouldn't leave the bodies there, out in the open. And Jasmine deserve a chance to say goodbye.
@WickThank you ^,^ so many different names for the same medication

the child was beautiful, and Sasha wanted to reach out and hold that little, bright, shining life. Maybe we don't do what we do for ourselves anymore, but for them. The children. I want to give them a bright world, one where they don't have to fear a bite She thought to herself. As she watched him go from somewhat alright, to on the verge of breaking down, Sasha did what came natural. She went to comfort,

She hugged the man, and the child Grace as a result. "It's okay, no one expects you to be okay, after everything" Well, after her conversation with Kyle, she didn't t hink that was true, but she couldn't say that. "Loss is hard, and even harder in this world. You have something to live for, the child in your arms. You have to be around, to tell her of her mother. To tell her she loved her, and did everything she could to keep her alive. You have to be strong for her, and give her all the chance she has in life. But that doesn't mean you can't grieve. " Perhaps it was harder to do so, around the people that had known his wife.

"Would you like to go outside, and you can tell me about her. I can check Grace over, make sure she's all okay. And I can tell you about my fiance, and maybe we can learn to be okay again" She figured he could check his own child over himself, but also figured he might not begrudge her looking the child over, just in case he had missed anything. @Wick
Jamie woke to find Elyra gone. She gave a heavy sigh, and knowing she should eat, if only to help the healing, she found the rabbit from the night before, breaking off few pieces, she grimaced at the pain as she put a morosal in her mouth, starting to chew. She very nearly just gave up, the bruising and tenderness making it hard to eat, but she didn't. She forced down a few bits of the spicey, seasoned rabbit, before rising and going over to the water, using the light of the dawn to examine her reflextion in the water.

Her face was a motley of blues, blacks and purples, her cheeks slightly puffy, as if there was swelling, her lips split, and blood still covered her face. Gently, she cleaned her face, careful of her hands. She rocked back on her heels, glancing about, yet Elyra hadn't returned from where ever it was she had gone. She figured that the healer would want to check her hands over, maybe put some more salve on, but she wasn't there.

Rising, Jamie went back over to her gear, picking up her bow and quiver, she walked away from the camp, just out of sight. She knocked an arrow, pulling back on the string, she grimaced at the pain in her hands, but satisfied, she let it fly. As it hit the imaginary target she had drawn, she nodded with satisfaction. If she could still pull a string, she was content. She retrieved the arrow, examining it for any cracks, before putting it back in the quiver. She returned to camp, not wanting to get yelled at by Elyra for being reckless, setting her gear down, she picked up the knife.

She stared at it for a few moments, trying to ponder the meaning of it. Why would he give her a knife, after all the fuss? Her fingers trailed over the engraving, D.M. it seemed pointless to try and figure it out. She'd let the whole thing get out of hand, and right then she was wishing she had injuried him more than she had. A simply knife to the arm wasn't enough, for the damage to her hands. But she hadn't wanted to hurt him. And that had been her weakness. With a heavy sigh, she slid the knife around her belt, retrieving a new shirt from from her gear, she hesitated, her fingers brushing over her leathers. They could very well run into a dangerous enemy, and she'd be foolish to not have her armor on.

She slid the leathers on, grimacing as she tried to do up the laces, but her hands wouldn't allow it. With a sigh, she slid on her shirt, intending to ask Elyra to do them up for her when the girl returned. She packed up her gear, standing up straight and glancing about, seeing the figures approaching camp. One seemed to be moving faster than the other, the other misshapen. She narrowed her eyes, recognising Elyra, and after a moment, James, carrying a deer. She started to go forwards, as if she could offer some help, but grimaced, looking down at her hands. Firing a bow was one thing, helpign to carrying a large animal was another.

Penny spun back to Jasmine, covering the girl with her own body. She should have made Jasmine stay back, once she had caught that smell. You n ever forgot the scent of burned bodies. never. "Jasmine...Jasmine, it might not be them." but who else was it likely to be?"I can do a spell, bring the...the bodies back to how they were originally, with my Phoenix Slayer magic. Do you want to be sure?" She didn't know if her words were getting through to the other girl, but she kept her shielded from the sight.
Sasha stood over a walker, knife bloodied in her hand, staring down at it. She could just walk away. She could just walk away, before she let herself be immersed by this group. Walk away, and contiue on her lonely way. But she sighed, shifting her pack with the meager supplies she had managed to save. There seemed to be something going on, and hesitating, she entered the farm house, unsurprised at what she saw as she followed the small commootion.

Swinging her bag off her shoulder, she silently rummaged through it, coming out with some liquid panadol, saying softly "It's not much, and normally I wouldn't recommend masking a fever, but it might give him a little bit of time, to fight" She held the bottle to the man that had done the work, thinking to herself resillence. Just when you think you can't go on anymore, it shows up, slaps you in the face, and you do. She rummaged in her bag once more, taking out a small pot, the last of her supply, but if she could find the ingrediants, she could make more. And why just let it sit there? "I also have this. It's a salve I made, put it over the stitches, and it wil help with healing. Its potent, so you don't need much, but you'll probably use all of it in anycase. Its kind of a medival"

That was pretty much the extent of the medical supplies she had left to her, and when she thought of the crude, yet well stocked infirmary she had had, she wanted to cry. "I'm Sasha, by the way. I don't mean to intrude. I just thought I could help" She darted out of the room, finding it hard to be in there.

(I can't remember what you guys call Panadol, but its a mild pain killer and anti-fever)
yup.

Shejust wants everyone to be happy, although she's going to be blissfully oblivious if anyone actually likes her.
Ashleigh didn't look up, a little perplexed why Jason had followed her. that's something Paulina would say She thought to herself, but she'd say I put too much on myself, that I expect too much. She'd say that I was doing well. But she doesn't know about the nightmares. She thinks they're finished. She doesn't know how hard it is, She thinks I'm doing okay.... She looked up as Jason hovered over her, "I bare everyone's burden and no ones. People can't help what they feel. But I can help how I react. And most of the time its a constant battle for control, even with the bracelet. Because I'm scared.

They all think I knew of my powers for years, and maybe I did, but it wasn't consciously. No, the first time I was truly aware of them was when I had the crap beat out of me by someone I loved. Do you know what it was like, to feel that wrathful anger? That hatred, and...justification? I still don't even know what I did wrong.

There was more than my body that was broken, more than my abilities can heal. I'm terrified of them. Paulin's tried to inhibit my powers further, but it just isn't possible. You can't inhibit emotion"

She didn't know why she was letting this all out, to someone she had just met, when she couldn't even say it to Paulina, or Vedika. Maybe it was because they believed she was doing better than they thought. Maybe it was because on some level she didn't want to disappoint them. She had felt Paulina's surprise, and then pride when she had seen her still there last night.

Perhaps she would have said more, if Vedika hadn't come up. Her energetic nature was a stark contrast to the exhaustion she had been around. She gave a sigh, rising in one fluid motion, feeling just that tiny bit better for letting something out, although she was sure she had just sent Jason running from her. "No, but I never will be, so lets just get to class, and hope I don't turn everyone into a blubbering mess"
