Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Not at all

After all, given half a chance, Connor would probably just stand there and think out loud about the prospects of it XD
Mmhmmm
@hatakekuroinsomnia?
Lol, sounds pretty epic, although why are you dreaming of Zombies?

I'm just ddreaming of crazy clowns.
This was going to be a battle of strength, of will. Of power. Cody knew that, as he maintained his armor, his shield, against the crushing weight that was Big Boss. The light around the room slowly faded, as Cody redirected that energy to his shield. He maintained the shield, and stayed as still as he possibly could.

"Your light is dull"

He voice was calm, as if he was merely commenting on the weather. He stared back at Big Boss, knowing that if he were to lose his control, he would be dead. And yet, Cody wasn't afraid. Why should he be? Cody couldn't go back to his home. He would forever be marked as different. There was a boiling anger under his calm, as he remembered the sound his pup being killed.

"I am not afraid, but why should I die by your hand?"

Cody knew that he couldn't maintain the shield forever. The constant pressure, the cracking of it, the fixing of it, it would wear him down. He needed to figure out a way to either free himself, or take Big Boss down.

"Yes, I pity you. Because you can't see how you have dwindled. You aren't a great man"

Cody gathered his power, maintaining his shield, while gathering the last, final attack that he had in his arsenal. Perhaps it would kill him. Perhaps it wouldn't. Cody didn't know. nor, did he particularly care.

"If I die, I die on my terms, not yours"

Cody seemed to explode outwards, his shield bursting, light expanding out, engulfing Big Boss, almost quite similar to an atomic bomb exploding. The light was bright, almost as bright as the sun, and hot, searing everything at once, destroying the walls, the roof, opening up the room, bringing in more light that paled in comparasion to Cody's explosion.

"YOU HAVE LOST"

Agent Caits took in the scene, and she began to move, avoiding the flames-or at least trying to. She brought up her gun, firing it at as many soliders as she could, until she ran out of ammo. Agent Caits threw the gun away, starting to make her way closer to Gerswhin, a grenade in hand.

"I'm coming, Gerswhin"

The thought of death had fled. The fear of the fires was nothing. She hadn't saved Gerswhin, only to have her trapped once more. She would do everything in her power to free her, although she didn't know just what she could do. Still, she had to do something.

Pulling the pin, Caits threw the grenade towards the remaining soliders, continuing towards Gerswhin and trying to avoid being fried.

I will!

I just...fight scenes are just quite hard, for me. I just can't seem to write about it.

Phoebe trotted to thte gym, taking Ryan with her, and she made her way over to Tsura, the little minion happily sitting beside Tsura as if content to follow the light user around forever. Phoebe smiled, and said brightly "Hey! Sorry I kinda left, I had a meeting with my father" She said, sitting down beside Tsura, tickling the minion so that it grew a small, purple flower.

Kalinda led Kyle to the gym, uneasy. She tried to keep her emotions to herself, so that they wouldn't seep through the skin to skin contact as she held Kyle's hand. She glanced about at the students gathered at the gym, just as the bell rang to signify the start of class. She had heard that the first day of a new year, it was typically an obstacle course.

She said as much to Kyle, figuring he'd be excited about that.

Paulina's encasing warmth, both physical and emotional, comforted and spread over Ashleigh, and she moved into both, reached out to wrap her arms tightly around her friend, she let Paulina's emotions swamp her. She gave a soft sigh, and might have fallen asleep right there, leaning against Paulina, but Liam's words sent a shiver down her spine. She opened her eyes, her gaze going to Vivi, who seemed to be struggling, looking about in horror, Ashleigh saw the destruction she had caused, She saw that she had knocked many people over, had sent things flying. She had apparently affected the spiritual world, and now it looked like she had broken a friend.

"Vivi..."

Concern radiated strongly through Ashleigh, perhaps effecting Paulina at such closeness, and she managed to wriggle away. Not trusting her own legs, Ashleigh staarted to crawl towards Vivi, knowing it was her fault this had happened. If she had just had better control, it wouldn't have happened. She had n idea what had happened. The pain had just seemed so overwhelming...her body had reacted out of instinct. Maybe...Maybe Alister and herself resonated against one another? It didn't make sense to Ashleigh.

"Vivi...I'm sorry"

She reached out to touch her friend, but at the last second, she pulled away, looking down at her hand shamedly. She had done this, and she didn't think she could fix it. Only make it worse. She bowed her head, her arms shaking, "I'm sorry, I didnt mean to do it..." The words please don't hit me nearly escaped her mouth, although she knew Vivi nor Paulina would ever strike her. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry"
