I am still on RPG, so do feel free to message me. Just don't have the time or energy to actually join any RP's right now. Focusing on a LOT of other projects, including getting into Audio Drama.

@Dymion There are, but I would extend my hand and ask you come to the Neutral side with Orias.
-Above the Planet-

Of the 5 X-wing escorts that had accompanied the senator to Rodia, only 3 were left, 1 had been destroyed on the ground in the initial orbital strike, the pilot, a Gungun called Mak-Nog Laam, was with Serra, behind the barricades. The other was destroyed on take-off and the pilot Buddy Illam, a human, was dead. Now, it was Defenser's 2, 4 and 5 that were left. Defenser 2 had taken up position at the head of the wing as they headed for the fleet. They saw a large number of TIE Fighters headed for the surface. Any other squadron would consider this kind of attack to be suicide, but Defenser Squadron were some of the best pilots the Republic had ever known, trained for the main purpose of helping to run blockades of starships should Coruscant fall and dignitaries require escorting off-world. Their X-Wings weren't anything to be scoffed at, either. These had been fine-tuned by some of the Republics best mechanics to perform at peak efficiency. The TIE's had the numbers advantage, but the Defensers knew to force the TIE's into a 1vs1 situation where the Imperials would stand no chance.

"Defenser 2 to Defenser's 4 and 5, we've not got enough fire power to crack those Battleships, but we can ensure that they do not gain air-superiority over the capital. Aim for any fighter trying to make it to the surface. On my mark, break and attack, I'll go in and hit them hard and try to draw their escorts."

"Copy, Defenser 2" 4 and 5 replied. As they approached the great swarm of fighters, they could see that they were hopelessly outnumbered.

"Lock S-Foils in attack position." The S-Foils of the fighters opened and locked to allow a better firing arc. As they began to close to attack range, several escort squadrons broke off from the fighter swarm. Yamok began counting silently, until, suddenly, his X-Wing increased speed dramatically.

"This is it, boys. Accelerate to attack speed and break." he ordered. As he did so, the other two split from their attack wing. Marlow immediately dived upon the Bombers, with Umak choosing a wing of Lander shuttles. Thanks to their close proximity to the fighter groups, the Battleships wouldn't dare open fire upon them. They cared little for their own troops, but even they saw the folly of sacrificing hundreds of men to take out 3 fighters, when their own Interceptors would probably be able to take them. Yamok watched the Interceptors box him in with the classic Imperial Attack tunnel. Several wings of fighters swooping towards him, firing, but ultimately missing. This was an old imperial tactic to spook less experienced pilots into pulling away and straight into the line of fire. Yamok had seen this too many times and remained locked on course, before the Interceptors could turn around and commense the attack in earnest. Pulling away, he put himself right where he wanted himself, Going as fast as he was, it was highly unlikely that the Interceptors that were now coming about would be able to get a lock and destroy him as he was moving sideways across their vision and at a considerable range. They attempted to fire anyway, their weapons banks were fully stocked and they could easily afford to fire freely without care of running out.

Yamok's faint had worked, with his flashy attempt to break away first, the Interceptors had all gone after him, knowing him to be the leader. But, he'd be the first to admit that he wasn't the best in the outfit... Although, with Buddy's death on take-off, who was was now a mystery. Marlow's fighter dived upon the Bombers with only a few of the regular TIE's to intercede, but thanks to her ability to reach out and affect their minds, attempts to get weapons lock on her was proving impossible for the pilots, they couldn't think straight, they kept overcompensating for the movement of her fighter. She was in her element with only the 5 escorts, she had trouble affecting more than that amount of minds at once whilst in the cockpit.

Umak, on the other hand was keeping his distance. Gran's had 3 eyes, making their depth perception to be amazing. As such, his ability to hit targets at extreme distance was uncanny. Keeping out of effective range of the lander's defense blasters, he was able to easily shoot out the engines of 2 of them, before reinforcements arrived. But, with 2 of their loaders now plummeting towards the ground, he was able to pull back a little and try to stay out of range altogether.

With Reinforcements closing in on all of them, they were beginning to feel the strain. "Dammit, i'm hit!" came the voice of Defenser 2. "Just the tip of the wing, lost cannon 2. This isn't working. Fall back to the planets atmosphere, kiss the tarmac and mke sure they can't take you down."

"Defenser 2, you can't enter the atmosphere with your fighter in that condition. The asymmetry would make controlling that thing impossible." replied Defenser 4.

"Defenser 2, go for help, make the calculations and jump out." replied Defenser 5. The radio went dead for a few seconds, as the other 2 headed planetside.

"Understood." replied the comm. The 2 fighters headed into the atmosphere had, at the very least weakened the Empire a little bit, and with several fighters on their tails as they streaked into the atmosphere, they were drawing more fighters into a conflict that gained the Imperials nothing, but couldn't afford to be ignored.
@LmpkioOoooh, I am so tempted to join in as Zedd and Rita in the RV of Doom, but I think i'm a little overloaded on RP's to begin with. Maybe at a later date.
Ace stood in awe of the man in solid gold armour, easily dwarfing him. Granted he wasn't exactly the tallest boy, well, he had been back in year 3 when he had been held back in school, it wasn't easy being the tallest boy in his class by a clear foot. But, all in all, he had been better off for it. The ridiculing had forced him to fight back and he had been fighting back ever since. He took a cigar from his jacket and lit it with his zippo lighter with a Union Jack on one side and the words "Smoke me a Kipper, i'll be back for Breakfast." on the other. He sat down on the plinth of one of the pillars and smoked it as he listened to Nova tell him of what had been going on. He interupted as Nova told him of the pull the universe had "That explains a lot, I'm all fine and dandy with dimension jumping, my crate is designed to do just that, break the speed of reality and jump from universe to universe. I've seen quite my share of different realities. I've been to one where the primordial ooze decided to just sit around and watch TV rather than getting on with its life. I've been to a universe where everything runs in reverse... The most horrifying universe was the one where I met myself as a lowly, cowardly, maggot. The epitome of neuroses and lowest ball of slime I've ever had the misfortune to come across." He then listened to the rest of the Emperor's explanation of what was happening. He took a moment to process what he had been told, before getting off the plinth and walking towards Nova.

"Alright, so, come to a new world, beat the bad guys and establish a Utopian society? All I need is a princess and it'd be just another day at the office." he smiled. He took a second Cigar from his jacket and offered it to Nova. He always gave everyone a nickname, it was a habit of his, this Emperor had long flowing, black hair, almost as gorgeous as his own, a suit of solid gold armour and he seemed to have eyes of fire... Ace decided to break the tension and give him something playful, yet respectful. "Alright, Sparkles, what's the plan?"
My next post will feature the members of Defenser Squadron that came with Kalami and the others to Rodia, so I put a mini-CS for them in Kalami's profile.
Alright, editted. @Lmpkio could you have another look at his physical attibutes before I start posting as him? Just so that we are all fine and clear as to what he can do.

FUN FACT: Mortarion, another Daemon Primarch once survived having his heart cut out and having a mans name carved into it.
@Savato you're absolutely right, I'll quickly add in his physical abilities. Really, I'd compare his physical attibutes to Wolverine "Kinda strong, has a weapon that'll cut through damn near anything and is almost impossible to put down and make him stay down."

I mean, looking at the physical attributes for a Primarch, I'd say that, at max, he is only able to lift about 10 tons over his head... Yes, that's a lot... But then you realize that that means his strength is equal to that of Spider-man... I mean, he's not a Gargantuan creature or a Super-Heavy walker. I imagine that a Carnifex is about the biggest thing he'd be able to pick up and throw, but that's only about 10-20 tons, which, again, is dwarfed by certain Marvel superheroes that aren't really known for their physical strength, like Venom, Nova and Vision.

Their main strength is that, unlike those characters, every bit of this strength is translated into their swings. I mean, Venom obviously doesn't punch at 40 tons of strength, he'd shatter the skeleton of ANYONE he punched. Angron, however, can and will swing that axe with 10 tons of force.

@Lmpkio Really? I personally thought you'd tell me to tone him down a little, but the thing is, I have learned a valuable lesson in my 5 years with the site:

It's not how powerful he is on paper, it's how powerful he is in game.

I generally give my characters access to a plethora of power, in story, they tend to only be as powerful as the story demands them to be. If they need to get their ass handed to them, then they get their ass handed to them. Because having fun is the main goal of RPing. Sure, I can make them as OP as humanly possible, but people will quickly get sick of them and i'll just get kicked out and then I won't get to play anyway.

TL;DR: Make a character as powerful as you like, but make sure you play nicely, or you get kicked out and won't get to play them anyway.
Name: Angron
Appearance:

Age: 6,000
Species: Daemon Prince
Gender: Male
Personality: (Not as necessary for established characters)
Bio: This Angron is from an Alternate universe where the Horus Heresy never took place. Instead of the Primarchs turning on their father, it was merely several of the legions that did so. Word Bearer Chaplain Erebus fell to the ruinous powers, dragging the Word Bearers, Ahriman and the Thousand Sons with him. After the Emperor's experiments to give humanity access to the Eldar Webway were disrupted, he was dragged into the Webway and has not been heard from since. To light the way for the Astropaths, Lorgar and Magnus, the two strongest psykers, take turns sitting on the Golden throne, each sitting for 100 years before trading places, he who doesn't sit on the throne leads the forces of the Grey Knights, and army made from Gene-seed from their father.

Angron did become a daemon, but not of his own accord. When approached by a Daemon, he was quick the slay the creature, he had languished under a cruel master from the beginning of his life and was not about to willingly subject himself to another. For 1,000 years, Angron and his World Eaters savaged the Galaxy, looking for any hint of this "Khorne" being so that he could end the pitiful fool once and for all... Unfortunately, the Butchers Nails in his forehead, the devices that drove him to lust for blood and gave him his immense fighting prowess were the devices slowly killing him. On what he thought to be his final battlefield, fighting alongside Lorgar as they battled his traitorous sons, the Word Bearers, Angron broke down, his mind almost completely gone. Naturally, the massive battle had caught the eye of the Blood God, Khorne. Khorne had been watching Angron for many millenia and wanted the bloodthirsty primarch as his champion. If Angron died without swearing allegiance, then his soul would be consumed by Slaanesh... With no other alternatives, Khorne summoned his ruinous power and granted Angron a new body.

Angron, having just struck down a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh, fell to his knee's and accepted death. He could die knowing that Kharn would lead his men to victory... But, death wasn't what he expected, it was painful... Very painful... His body writhed, flesh exploded, blood poured from every orifice, he began to ascend into the sky, with one final splatter of red, his eyes opened and he stood, looking out at his brother, Lorgar and his World Eaters, the head of a Daemon Prince in his hand, his mouth opened and the most ungodly noise echoed. He looked down at himself. His body was... Inhuman... But, since he hadn't sworn fealty to Khorne, his mind was still his own.

Lorgar ran towards him, Maul in hand and began to attack, his Grey Knights joining him. Lorgar saw what Angron now was and knew that his brother had given himself to the ruinous powers of Chaos. Angron was overcome with the power that his new body possessed, he managed to incapacitate Lorgar and shouted to Kharn the truth, that he had been transformed against his will, Lorgar did not believe him, but Kharn did. After a bloody battle that saw the deaths of a lot of Grey Knights and World Eaters, both sides managed to retreat to their fleets.

Ever since then, Angron and the World Eaters have waged a bloody and endless crusade to find Khorne and kill him, to make him pay for what he has done.

Equipment:
Armour of Mars (Bright golden armour that protects him from most conventional weapons. Since he became a daemon, it became fused to his skin.
Gorefather (A Chain-Axe designed to cleave through flesh and metal alike, can easily cleave a tank in half.)
The Spite Furnace (A Plasma Cannon that is fused into the palm of his free hand. It cannot be fired too often or he risks severely burning his hand. Fired far too often and his hand could even set ablaze. If this happens, then it'll take several hours before it can be fired again. The cannon has a tell-tale sign of when it's about to fire, as the heat-radiators on the back of his gauntlet glow.)

Abilities:
God of War (Before Khorne gave him his new body, he was considered one of the greatest fighters in the imperium. Now that his body is even larger, stronger and more resilient, this claim seems to have few desputing it.)
Sire of the World Eaters (Any World Eater Space Marine that he meets will feel compelled to obey him)
Daemonic body (This body grants him immense abilities. Specifically, his massive wings that allow him to take to the skies and fly at immense speeds. It also grants him immense durability, able to survive attacks that would kill even the most hardened of monstrosities. His strength is absolute, able to pick up a monsterous creature and throw it about with ease. At max strength, he would be able to lift about 15 tons over his head. His healing factor is also immensely superior to most other creatures. He is able to fully heal, in a matter of hours, a wound that would instantly kill other beings. Wounds such as getting his heart cut out.)

Universe of Origin: Warhammer 30k AU.
