Bio

"That's why we must eat the old people first. They can't have that kind of power."

I've been roleplaying for six years, and if I do say so myself I've gotten pretty good. I've been to many roleplay sites around the internet, and for right now I'm happy calling this one home. I write fantasy, high science fiction, and poetry. I'm involved in the Nerdfighteria community as well, making the world suck a little bit less one day at a time. Though sometimes it's rough and incredibly time-consuming, roleplaying has brought me some of my closest friends, some of the most genuinely awesome people I've ever met. This train is still going, and there's no stop in sight! DFTBA.

The Disappointment Club:

"What the fuck did I just read"

We're special-ed special forces, the most exclusive internet club that no one wants to join, and the most thoroughly disappointing group of individuals the world has ever seen (we even disappoint when it comes to disappointing). Together, we're quite possibly the best six friends the internet has know.

- @Junkmail : Living Proof That God is Dead.
- @He Who Walks Behind : I still won't forgive him for what he did to that starfish.
- @Dragonbud : Her Gregory Cosplay is fire.
- @Surtr : I think he's still trying to pimp me... Help.

So...many...players... ALL HAIL BRASSICA PRIME, KING OF THE CABBAGES AND LORD OF THE DELICIOUS! I GROVEL AT YOUR FEET! @kimi OMG I did that to heraldic armor many moons ago. I had so much gold I didn't know what to do with it. I've been starting to screw around with the game again, but I really now just reference it because I think it's hilarious that they ran out of ideas so they made God a cabbage. @All: Okay, so we're getting a ton of members here. I'm really excited about this, considering that I never thought this rp would grow to be this popular. Thanks to all of your for the interest. I'll try not to let you down. IC will be up either Saturday or Sunday depending on my workload (and if I get my sheets and the bestiary done). Try to get at least one sheet in by then.
Intriguing, someone else is named Kimi......I am displeased (-_-") Very much so........ .... (T^T)
No, I was referring to y-oh would you look at that? There is another Kimi on RPG...whoops. Y'know, Kimi, you remind me a lot of a really good friend of mine from an old roleplaying forum. Something tells me that we're gonna be friends.

...are we allowed to speak German or Russian instead?
SirBeowulf
No. You may only speak Cabbage-ish, the language of deliciousness!
Seriously you and that cabbage is doing nothing but reminding me how terrible Runescape is.
SepticGentleman
Where does it say cabbage-ish? (I know, but that's why it's so funny; because the game is so goddamned terrible that they resorted to making a cabbage deity to get more players. The game in itself is ran terribly and the graphics are sub-par). @Ink Blood We're still accepting, but not for long. Be not afraid, mortal, for the leaves of Brassica Prime shine down upon you (until Friday then you're screwed).
...are we allowed to speak German or Russian instead?
No. You may only speak Basque (or English).
Okay! Okay! Everyone calm their respective genetalia. No more Japanese words. EVER. Allen noooo!
ACTUALLY yes we do, but I can't tell you about it yet. Also, I am now a cabbage. You may bow at the feet of the almight Brassica Prime.
Wow. I never thought of that Kimi (can I call you Kimi?). It has been there a long time, though I'm not sure if a magical lighthouse is "nature" per-say. Eh, you know what? Sure; I suppose there could be a Dryad protecting the flame.
I'm gonna work backwards here:
Hemomancer
Yeah, I'd rather not have hemomancers around here. They can very easily get ridiculously OP. @kimiyosis Shades are a Dryad-only thing. No other race can become a shade. @Sibelius Firstly, I must point out that a two-hundred-year-old Orc is about middle-aged, so he's starting to get on the old side. That said, nothing's stopping you. I can give you a few different examples of conflicts which the Nordavind have been involved in: -The Minotaur Wars: There's been several of these. The humans and minotaurs fight constantly over an area of fertile land in the southeastern part of the country that both claim as their own (this will make more sense once the map is done). Considering the size of the Minotaurs, the Nordavind are almost always called in to fight against them. -The Dragonkin War: So about ten-fifteen years ago, a group of Dragonkin (like saurians but with wings and fire breath) came out of hibernation in the Desolate Mountains to the Northeast of Haderlock and started to burn towns to the ground. The Nordavind were called in to fight them, and a really big fight initiated where a lot of the soldiers were killed. The group of about fifteen Dragonkin lost, but at the price of many soldiers. -The Frost River Uprising: This was a smaller conflict where a slave uprising of minotaurs, centaurs, icemen, and humans fought with Nordavind troops and Juvegol city guards because they were being forced to build the bridge over the River Frost, which is extremely treacherous. The Nordavind really shouldn't have been called in, but the slaves started burning buildings and so the king at the time decided to shut them down permanently. Needless to say, few Nordavind were hurt in this fight. -The Invasion of Glaces: About thirty years ago, some wise guy had the bright idea to invade Glaces. This was a bad plan. Those are just a few prevalent examples. You can make up your own fight if you want to (since 90% of this stuff I just spit out whenever it's necessary anyways). @All: Okay, looks like the Beastiary is a go. I'll start work on it soon. EDITS: @ViKtoricus Another new guy? ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY BRASSICA PRIME! Also, Go ahead. Minotaurs are great. @Kimiyosis All races can use magical artifacts, however humans, elves, Fairfolk, dryads, gnomes, and Icemen do not need to use them.
As many as you can handle. I've got forty-seven more planned as the game progresses.
Which is more than you can handle bruh. @Kimiyosis There is no Dryad for the air itself, although I could see a Dryad maybe being a cloud or storm spirit. I think a cloud spirit would be interesting, as that would allow you to use a limited (ie not OP) range of wind magic. Make a rough draft of the sheet and then show it to me; I'll see from there. @All: What would you guys think of me making a Beastiary (a short description of some of the mythical creatures/animals of Tithe)? Like, do you think you would use it? The OP is huge as it is, so I don't want to add something that won't be used.
Hm...A three-meter chain may actually count as a large weapon. I mean, don't you need two hands to accurately use something that long?
Probably actually >.> So, just curious, for magic, does the user require a wand/staff?
about two to three meters? Or on the other hand, thin garrote wires, of up to ten meters long instead of the chain?
Ten meters? You are now weilding a knife attached to a piece of metal spagehetti. Good luck controlling that lol
Weighted knife to throw, wire to whip it back to yourself. Used something similar jury rigged myself. Though it does take practice not to whip it into your own face :D
(we're building a quote pyramid to the stars) Something tells me that a weapon like that wouldn't be very effective (especially since it has a very limited range and when you got near the end of the ten meters it would begin to slow down) but that's not something I'd deny you for; you do you. Also, certain races require magical artifacts like staffs or wands to use magic, though other races can use such devices to focus it. Note, however, that wands and staffs have no magical power unto themselves; if a Dorak picks up a magic wand he still won't be able to use magic. They're just made to concentrate energy that's already there. @Fat Boy Kyle Yeah I tried to ignore that. I was concerned until i read the rest of the sheet that she was going to be your everyday ordinary MMORPG slut, but I trust that you won't turn her into that.
