Hayley had expected to be the guide, so she was surprised when Saranja took off towards the punch bowl with better accuracy of step than she did. She had to whisper a few apologies as she accidentally knocked a few people; she really wasn't good at this. However, not being handed a drink made sense when Saranja whispered to her. Her eyes widened; spiked with alcohol?! Was that normal?

The Satyr just sipped it, so it must be.... Hayley took a cup and filled it, bringing the drink up to take a sip, although she had to pause as it got close to her nose; it smelt really strong! "It's a party, right?" she said rather weakly as she finally took a big sip of the drink. Bleh! It tasted horrible! She didn't spit it out but she knew she wasn't going to enjoy it. However, it would be rude to reject it, so she held onto the cup begrudgingly. Her head tilted though when Saranja addressed another; was that a human snake?

Why not? We have everything else.. she thought to herself, although she was a little nervous which showed in the aura around her, and she held Saranja's arm to remain close to her. The Satyr was always a soothing influence on her.

The dismissive hand of Melissa answered as much as her words on the drum situation "We can play anywhere, but I'm not all that bothered if it's in the room. Still, I'll ask around! We'll make a musician outta you yet electric" she grinned, nodding along with the discussion of money and fathers. "Guess that's a big amount for most people...ok, I can see you not wanting to be in people's debts over that amount of money, but if you need a little help offers still open" she grinned, clearly not worried about money issues at all "however...military? Surely there's much better places for a pretty girl like you than getting swept up in all the killing. They'll never really appreciate you, you know."

Melissa also froze as a boy walked past, her eyes narrowing slightly. "The hell is he doing here?" she gave voice to her thoughts, something she did all too often. It was broken though as Yuki moved on, Melissa hurrying up and accepting the door with a nod."Poke me if I fall asleep" she giggled quietly, giving the many people who knew her a smile and a wave. She gave Yuki's arm a very quick and gentle squeeze, risking a shocking, and adding "don't know how you are around crowds Yuki, but if we get a lot of people coming over I can move away if you want" as they sat down. She placed her guitar in front of her, and wrapped her arms around it.

Hayley was used to Saranja being full of confidence - she knew everything! How could she not be confident? So to hear the nervousness in her voice was a new experience. She frowned slightly; was this her fault? Did she make Saranja uncomfortable? Of course I do... she bit her lip, pushing past those thoughts. She needed to help her friend! Her...friend? More than friend? This is so weird.

"A drink sounds like a good idea. We can dance again after that, how does that sound?" Hayley offered as she stood, taking Saranjas hands again in her own hot ones and helping her up "dancing is thirsty work, right?" she chuckled nervously, pulling Saranja over to the punch bowl.

Melissa laughed at the threat as Lucia stomped off. "What kind of a name is braman? Sounds like a pervert" she shrugged, having lost interest in the other girl as she focused on Yuki.

"Ah, I see. I get carried away with music so I know what you mean. You sound like a drummer to me, hitting things. Might help your control too if you're worried as drums are not all about hitting hard" Melissa nodded knowingly, although she tilted her head at Yukis claim. "Musicians don't really have a wage. Its all sales based. Although if your looking for close enough comparisons, my dads current tour is likely to grant him a seven figure payout if you know what I mean" she winked "and I'm sure I'll get a nice allowance from it as well. Can't wait to be earning on my own though. I want to be independent! What kinda job you looking for?"
