<Snipped quote by Meta>

Whoops. I meant Pop.

Ah, right.

<Snipped quote by Meta>

Yeah I woke to a text that said.
"Good morning mrs funny stories"

Well then.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

I honestly never heard anyone say soda.

Could you clarify?

Btw, I had the most awkward text sent to me that woke me up.

Yeah?
<Snipped quote by Valiance>

I say soda. Though, I live pretty south.

It's not your location. You're just more correct than others.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

Pop sounds nothing like pope. :/

Also, it's called pop because it makes a popping sound when you open it. Among other reasons, for example, pop being the correct one.

They're one letter apart. When I open a soda can, there's no popping sound.
<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

That's just as good, but more original than what I've heard. Gg.

<Snipped quote by DarkwolfX37>

I was split between there and Idaho. I knew it started with I.

Those are different states?
David and I both live further south than Soul (and I think Dark but I forget his state) and we say soda. Something is wrong here.

Anyone who calls it "pop" is wrong. Not only does it sound like "pope," but it also makes it sound like a candy. "Soda pop" is passable.

Arrrr

No, no, it was something clever.

A) There is a definite range though. Autistics have a range of ways they think that's different than non-autistics' range, etc. This is on a physical level because there is a difference in how the neural pathways develop and form and sometimes even function.
B) The quote you gave never tried to prevent anyone from using different methods. It was just highly suggesting using the ones that work for most people.

Physically, yes. Just like you can wire a computer differently. But regardless of the wiring, we each run a custom version of human Linux, regardless of the wiring.

She didn't suggest anything. She probably meant it as one, but I was commenting on the literal statements made, not guessing her intention in saying it. Now tell me what a pirate's favorite letter is.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

No dude, they don't. People with and without mental abnormalities don't think the same way. That's the whole thing. A "genius" and an "autistic genius" are different things. And yeah, it does make sense. "In order to use a different method you have to think differently than most people." That's not an incorrect statement. At no point was it said "you have to be autistic to be a genius." Like I said, the word "autistic" could be taken out and it would have the same meaning.

"People with and without mental abnormalities don't think the same way." That's my point. People without don't think the same as people without, and people with don't think the same as people with. You can't fit minds into boxes because none are the same. A science genius genius is as different from an art genius is as different from an autistic math genius, etc. The whole purpose of me bringing it up is that preventing people from using a method that works for them shouldn't be done.
What's a pirate's favorite letter?

I've heard this one but don't remember.
