It's not just imagination. When you imagine the whole cube to be red, that imagination must come with the reason that the cube should be red. That's what you use to make the cube red. But if you're converting an entire door, there's a lot of different colours that you must convert to different shades of red. That is several Realmatic transformations that are near-identical--except in boundaries. You have to hold all those different transformations in your mind. This is entirely possible because of how capabilities work, but it takes practise.

This simple Realmatic transformation is a gateway to learning many aspects of transformations themselves. They often must be very precise. Transforming the whole surface of a cube is very simple. But what about exactly replicating the pattern of, say, the wood on that door? *points to a door* It's not as hard as it sounds, but it is also not easy, at least at first. As you practise, creating precise boundaries for your transformations like that becomes second nature. This will be important not only for changing colours but also for many other transformations in the future. To that end, your first assignment is to start with easy shapes and patterns and work your way to harder ones. For some, this may take a few minutes or a few hours. Others may spend days or weeks improving their precision to be able to change the colour of that entire door. That is your end goal.
