I'd say it's in your court, since you get to specify the parameters for the blood link condition. I see it both working and not working with equal realism.

I anticipated that this operates like another set of memories. If you can block those off entirely with Control Amnesia, it would break the connection.

It's not exactly how the transition from the mental castle in Dracula's head to the real world works in the game, but it makes more sense from a writing standpoint the way I described.
