   APPEARANCE       

"You think I haven't thought about it myself? They'd probably tell me to stop eating... yeah, no."

Olivia is not one to judge. Everyone knows that everything is ultimately about looks and beauty. There really is nothing one can do about the cards one is dealt. However, Olivia would never lie and say that she has not thought herself superior to others in this department. Such an endeavor would be extremely pretentious, but it has never manifested in a verbal comment or physical action. That is, Olivia has never come down on someone else about their looks for the purpose of making them feel worthless. Her sisters, on the other hand, practically considers it their sole duty in life.

The usual dress code is of neutral and soft tones. Olivia wears tightly fitted jeans and sneakers throughout the year, ripped jeans being the favorite during summer. Various tops and jackets clads her upper hemisphere depending on weather and season. Denim is definitely one of her favorite materials for clothes. Besides having both her ears pierced and the sigil on her thigh, there is nothing else in the lines of decoration that marks Olivia’s flesh.

Olivia’s features are rather sleek and plushy. Prominent eyebrows, cerulean blue eyes, and a pointy nose clads her roundish face. Her straight, flowy hair is of dark coloration, which heavily contrasts her lighter, yet warm skin tone. The rest of her modest stature is rather slender and fragile. There is not much to hold on to or form to speak of, but that is the cards that were dealt to her. High metabolism keeps her weight in check, considering cooking is a passion of hers.

    PSYCHOLOGY       

"If they knew everything, most would call me evil even though I take care of everyone like a second mom."

MAIN GOAL  ⫻ The goals and aspirations of people change with time. Olivia has realized this some time ago, but has also accepted her current wishes as true for the immediate future. Her wishes are to continue the family trade rather than braving the world. Even though the trade has been done in a certain way for a long time, it will not necessarily be this way into her adult age. Olivia is prepared to change with the times as they come along.

PHILOSOPHY  ⫻ Olivia believes in family and one’s own kind. Some would likely suggest that she wishes harm upon other people, but the reality of her position is quite the contrary. Olivia wants everyone to have their own, unique home and sense of belonging. The nation is the extension of one’s family, and as such should not be composed of strangers. Olivia knows her father shares this view, but her mother definitely does not. How her parents ever got to love each other and marry and have children is beyond Olivia's understanding. Olivia and her mother have had numerous arguments about what ‘she is to become’, if Olivia keeps looking at things this way. However, Olivia simply cannot see what that is so wrong with it—who would like to live among strangers, far away from home?

SECRETS  ⫻ Olivia’s great grandfather was an SS officer of the Third Reich during the end of the second World War. By many bribes and plenty of luck, he escaped the allies and traveled to America. He passed customs using the surname ‘Rusch’, which was fabricated. Just like many of those who were loyal to the Chancellor of Germany during that time, the great grandfather remained loyal and taught his children the ‘truth’ about the war—all the bad things they heard in school was Soviet propaganda that the allies had taken to heart. Olivia somewhat sympathizes with what her father has taught her. However, she has never publically expressed any ideas or otherwise indicated her belief in the matter. However, she does think that there is a lot of misconception regarding all of it that most people will never learn about.

DESIRES  ⫻ She is quite interested in her German roots. Olivia has tried her hand at researching family history, going back quite a few centuries, but there is always something that hinders it.

SEXUALITY  ⫻ Heterosexual.

FEARS  ⫻ Olivia does not want to be perceived as stupid. Whenever she learns something new, she goes to fanatical lengths in order to understand it, even if it is really difficult. She is always on her phone looking things up that people mention or talk about. The worst part of it all is that she knows that she is not very smart to begin with, but Olivia is self-aware enough to not wanting to be dumb, or perceived as such.

REPUTATION  ⫻ Olivia’s reputation has three stages to it based on how well someone knows her. One, total strangers assume her to be airheaded and almost totally free of higher thinking, which, incidentally, is partially true, but the only thing that saves her is the dark hair. The next stage has a ‘Girl Next Door’ vibe to it. This is when the stranger realizes that Olivia is a diehard conservative and would be a wife of the 1950s without complaining. The last stage, and this one is the one that many of the students at the academy know her by, has more of a ‘momma bear’ vibe whereby she takes care of those around her like an old lady.

PET PEEVES  ⫻ Olivia is certainly annoyed by what the modern world thinks a good life is or should be. There are times when it just gets to be too much, especially at school, and she will snap and say something inappropriate or ‘eyebrow raising’. However, these miniscule incidents are few and far between, not enough for anyone to ever remember. Her father has taught her to be very careful about what she says, and he has taught her well.

QUIRKS  ⫻ The girl is like a walking vending machine, but free of charge. She always keeps fruits and snacks and bottled water in her bag wherever she goes. Unlike most kids her age and younger, she can burn through a lot of food without gaining any significant weight, so eating often comes natural to her. However, Olivia will gladly make sure that those around her eat when they have low blood sugar, feel exhausted or tired, just to get a little boost.

   BACKSTORY      

"They're my sisters. I'll love them no matter what."

Olivia was born to Adam and Jennifer Rusch. She is the oldest sister of three. The younger sisters are eighteen and sixteen—Heather and Sandra. However, only the oldest child of the family is educated in the family ‘legacy’. Olivia’s great grandfather, Herman Rusch, was an SS officer of the Third Reich that escaped to America by questionable means. As many of the loyal soldiers during that time of the second World War, Herman never surrendered his belief or loyalty to Hitler. The oldest of the Rusch family has ever since been taught about the truth of the war, the truth about all the supposed bad things that the ‘Nazis’ did.

Because of her father’s knowledge and relentless teaching, Olivia did not turn out like her younger sisters. She may not be the brightest of them all—as a matter of fact, none of them are particularly smart—but Olivia does not share her sisters’ shallowness and cruelty. Her sisters are part of what one could call ‘high society’ of the academy, or the ‘popular kids’, unlike Olivia—she floats across all groups of people and mingles with whoever is interested in talking. However, her younger sisters do not like this aspect of their elder. They have had to endure a lot of accusations and suspicion from the other popular kids because of it, even to the point of bullying and physically assaulting Olivia.

Olivia’s father, Adam, does not approve of the younger sisters’ behavior towards anyone or anything. They are the only ones of the family that are blatantly racist and confrontational. Their mother is partially to thank for it, as she is from a native family of Farmer Hill. Adam and Olivia would never consider themselves as ‘racist’ or ‘national socialist’ of any kind, but they do share views that fall under certain ideologies that most find offensive.  However, the major difference between them and the younger sisters is that Adam and Olivia never express their opinions in public—they treat everyone kindly and fairly, which would cause a lot of confusion if they ever did express their opinions.

The family business is a cow ranch for exporting meat and milk. It was originally owned by Jennifer’s father, who passed it to Adam after the marriage. The old man passed a few years later, but did get to hold Olivia as a child. Adam previously worked in the steel industry, so the translation between the two occupations was hard on him. However, he eventually learned the ropes and managed to make the ranch even more profitable than its previous lord. Both him and Jennifer work at the ranch full-time. They are happy about the fact that Olivia has expressed interest in staying and taking care of things once they want to retire, but they also know that she might change her mind with time. Something that is painfully clear is that Heather and Sandra would never, in a million years, get dirty among cows.

[Cooking]  ⫻ One of Olivia’s passions is cooking. It does not have to be extravagant in any way, just practical and tasty. Food is her thing in general. Everyone needs it, nobody can live without it. Her current hobby is outdoors cooking, using basic fires or portable, gas-powered stoves.

SIGIL & LOCATION  ⫻ Olivia’s sigil resembles the Sun Wheel. It is located on the outer side of her thigh on her right leg, a rather large engraving. The sigil has a center point with two outer circles surrounding it. The inner circle is closer to the center than the outer circle. All the circles are connected to the center with crooked cords that resemble lightning bolts.

ABSTRACTION  ⫻ Lightning Bolt Projection—the ability to create, summon, and control lightning bolts.

ABSTRACTION DESCRIPTION  ⫻ The lightning has two sources: herself and the sky. The destruction caused by bolts created by herself does not appear to be as powerful as those summoned from darkened skies. If she had to guess or estimate, she would say that her own bolts are about 60% weaker.

The bolts can pierce and severely burn their targets to the point of death when the right conditions are applied. Flammable material will catch on fire or explode. Weaker bolts can be used to stun or boost the performance of systems that run on electricity. However, it is a brief surge of power that quickly fades.

When the weather conditions are right, Olivia can summon lightning bolts from the sky that strike with esoteric power. She has no idea what kind of damage normal lightning does, but hers seem to be supernatural in nature.

IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MOUNTAIN  ⫻ In the presence of the mountain, the strength of Olivia’s lightning bolts seems to blur between its sources. The temperature and kinetic force of the bolts skyrocket well beyond the heat of the sun, breaking volts beyond nine figures, and moving with the speed of astral bodies. With the right weather conditions, she could potentially summon violent lightning storms that utterly devastate everything, making it a danger to herself.

AURA SENSING  ⫻ Olivia can see the aura of objects that are safe for consumption. If the color of the aura is green, the object can be consumed safely. If the coloration of the aura is yellow, the consumed object may cause harm based on a person’s individual immune system. If the color of the aura is red, consumption will most likely lead to sickness or worse.
