Welcome to Arrowsmith

Arrowsmith High School. Home of the Bengals, bleeders of orange and black in the middle of Arrowsmith, South Dakota. We don't have much here, but we have a tight knit community of many future leaders. We also have a good football team, and one of the best State Fairs in the Midwest! It is the first day after Labor Day, and all of the children are leaving their once fun summer vacations behind and heading back to school. Our new flock of freshman definitely have a great year ahead of them! We have lots of events planned this year, and we hope to see you join many of our clubs and after school activities provided to you. Our first day of school will start with a small carnival to celebrate our seniors who are graduating this year, but all the student body is allowed to attend. This will be a good chance to meet your classmates, and faculty that will be helping you grow this year.

Welcome to the Roleplay

Like Arrowsmith, we will be working as a small community to make the best of our time. My short term goals are to make characters that are interesting and unique, develop relationships between one another, and have fun. My long term goals are to have this roleplay turn into a multiple chapter project as we watch our character grow from freshman into seniors at the school, and possibly move on to a college level. This will require a lot of trust and patience with one another. Let's work together to make this happen, so we can really grow and develop voices for our characters, as well as grow as a group of friends who can have fun role playing together.

I am not really a harsh person to deal with as far my GM'ing power goes. I ask you to follow the basic rules of no God modding, power playing, or anything of that nature. I do not want any one liners. If you are that stuck with it, please ask us for help or guidance. No speed posting, I know it can be exciting when you get into a roleplay- but please wait at least two or three people between you or an hour before your next post- unless instructed otherwise.

This roleplay may have mature scenes and content. That means sexual things, drug use, things other people aren't comfortable with. Please be considerate of your fellow roleplayer and as well as the guild rules about these type of things. Flirt with your classmates, not the banhammer. Let's be creative and have fun. I love both of those things, and am always open to ideas for plot and stories!

As for in school rules- pretty basic things. Don't be dumb. It will result in proper punishment.

You are more than welcome to fix up the coding and design of your CS as you see fit. I honestly love seeing new and creative designs- I will be doing the same. If you have a coding issue, ask me and I will solve it for you. Please note that as our roleplay goes on you are more than welcome to change things in your CS. OH! WELL, you're in for a good time.
I'm a very very forgiving GM. I was new to roleplaying once, I was new to casual once too.
As long as you aren't giving a sentence, and you're having a good time with us. I won't be too harsh.

I understand life gets in the way, and people lose interest too :) It's okay.

The worst that can happen is that you decide to leave- and we'll cross paths again!
But, maybe this opportunity is just the one you've been looking for :D

Definitely not. I don't mind multiple characters per person- as long as you can handle it :)
This would would go for any part of the roleplay too- such as; a new person coming in the next year or what have you.

As if school wasn't challenging enough!

This is going to be a very basic idea from the start- a high school roleplay with all that drama and cute crushes and bullies and all that good stuff. I haven't gotten too far in my brain yet for the 5 w's to make a pretty OOC but we will get there eventually. I'm pretty good about that type of stuff. I promise

Some things that will make my rp kinda sorta unique.

1) We are all going to start off as freshman.
2) We are going to be from a smaller town- think South Dakota or something.
3) We will be taking seasons to account and how it affects you and the town
4) We will all be in the same classes at the same time (though we wont be rping this much if at all)
5) RELATIONSHIPS RELATIONSHIPS RELATIONSHIPS

My challenge to you, and anyone that is interested in this roleplay:

I challenge you to STICK to this roleplay, and stick to this group. I have plans on doing the roleplay as follows; FRESHMAN YEAR, SOPHOMORE YEAR, JUNIOR YEAR, SENIOR YEAR, and maybe even eventually COLLEGE. Do you know how amazing your character development and making relationship skillaroonis can be if you did that?! Pretty neat.

Plus, I want a group of people that become friends and enjoying roleplaying with one another in a place where they can be themselves- where we can have good days, bad days, and everything in between. That might be asking a lot from people- but it's what I'm asking :) I'm going to be sticking around!
