Just letting everyone know- All i'm going to do for the group stuff is that; on Sunday I will have one or two people from each group tell me their summary of how the project went. Some people might have it be that it went well, and others might have had it gone badly. It is up to you :) Then, after that I will put us at the field trip day. I've not decided what yet- but we will get there.

Death In The Air

"Star Wars!" Audrey exclaimed, "That's sooo old." she groaned, but let out a happy chuckle. It was nice to have something other than reading books and playing the same board games over and over again. She shook her head with a smile across her lips, happy that Aaron could find pleasure in this. She watched him scurry off to the back room before a noise in the store sent a chill up her spine. Aaron was already on the guard with his rifle pulled out. Though he was younger than her by a few years, he was a natural born leader. He directed her to search the rows as she spotted the boy with a jar of pickles in his hand. He looked to be about her brother's age as she called out.

"Found him!" she said, before saying to the boy, "Hey, don't move. Do you need food? We can trade but you can't go around stealing from us. Don't try to make a break for it either. My brother doesn't fuck around, and he'll end up killing you. I don't want to clean up anymore blood then I already have." she warned. Putting her hand down and into her boot to grab her switch blade from in case the boy decided to charge.

Death In The Air

Audrey had heard Aaron leaving in the morning but she decided not to say something. She had often tried to be protective over her younger brother but she knew he didn't want her to try to replace mom. She couldn't ever do that. When she woke up she arranged things a little bit around their room. Though it didn't need to be done, she liked the feeling of having a bit of control over their life. Going through the grocery store she picked out a granola bar as she walked around doing inventory. This was a good source of trade for them, and kept them having the things they needed. Hearing Aaron at the front of the store, she wondered what he possibly could have gotten. "I'll like it?" she questioned, calling back to him with a small smile on her face. She walked towards him, her eyes lighting up knowing that he was safe. "What is it?" she asked, her hands on her hips waiting for him to show what he had.

I never have been to a science fair either LOL

Before the virus Audrey had dreams of going to college to become a dental hygienist. It wasn't her dream job, but it seemed like a reasonable thing to do. She lived with her Mom and younger brother, and they never had too many troubles or worries, even after their parent's divorcing. Audrey's mom was bringing home a birthday cake for Aaron. She doesn't know the outcome of her father, but she doesn't have too high of hopes. Right now, she is just trying to survive every day with her younger brother and hopes to find that there are other survivors out there as well.

Giovanna was originally born in Manaus, Brazil. Her family which included her Grandfather, Father, Mother, Brother, and two younger sisters- moved to the United States when she was just shy of seven years old. They first moved to the Bronx, in New York City. About 7 years after did they realize that the area was just far too crowded and expensive in comparison to their city on the water back in Brazil. That being said they moved to their current small town and have been there ever since. The perfect mix of city and country for the Santos family.

A P P E A R A N C E
Gia is a Hispanic woman, specifically Brazilian. She is very petite at around 5ft 2, weighing between 110-115lbs depending on what holiday season with the most food it is. Her skin tone is fairly light, but can get pretty dark when she is outside in the sun. Both her eyes and hair are a very dark brown. Almost always seen wearing a shade of red lipstick, ever since she was allowed to in middle school. Her mother treats her to manicures and pedicures practically every weekend, the two bond over it and enjoy the pampering.

Gia has her nose and her ears pierced. She has a scar on her leg from when she got caught on the top points of a fence while she was climbing over it. She doesn't have a tattoo yet, but her mother says she can get one when she graduates high school, being the first in her family to graduate high school.

Gia can be seen in formal cocktail dresses or over sized sweaters with black leggings. She loves fashion but more often prefers comfort over style. She loves accessorizing and she always wears a watch her grandfather gave her, though it has stopped working many years ago.

H I S T O R Y
"Estar a sombra da bananeira."

Roughly translated into "sitting under the shade of a banana tree" but to the Portuguese, it means that you have no worries. This was the type of attitude Giovanna was raised under. Born to Juan and Natalia Santos in the city of Manaus, Brazil. They lived in the country until Gia was about six years old and then they came to America settling in the Bronx of New York City, of all places. They brought along Gia's older brother, two younger sisters, and her Grandfather on her father's side.

The Bronx wasn't exactly the America that the Santos family had envisioned, so they packed up and left again to the smaller town. Here they made it along just fine, getting a small home and making it by with basic jobs. Gia was spoiled endlessly by both her parents as much as they could offer. She very rarely was in trouble, or told that she couldn't do anything she set her mind to. School was a challenge to the very absent minded Gia but with her great group of friends she knew she could make it through.
