An extremely large rottweiler, snarling teeth. Turns into a small pomeranian, with a bow in it's hair.
Wand:
Rowan. Kneazle Whisker. Seven Inches. Unyielding.
Favourite Lesson:
Herbology: Beverly finds tending to plants and fungi to be a relaxing experience. She has actively enjoyed the class for her first few years at Hogwarts. Her current year will be tending to the more dangerous plants, but she feels that she is well informed enough to keep safe. Beverly likes to have a plant in her room during the semester, and commonly gives it to a professor or a friend when she leaves the school for the end of the year.
Least Favourite Lesson:
Flying: Though flying is a first year course, Beverly has a very bad taste of flying. It haunts her as one of her worst experience at Hogwarts yet. Her first time on a broom left her so nauseous that she spent half of the class with her eyes closed, and other other half rushing to the girl's restroom to throw up.
Extracurricular Activities:
Muggle Music Club: Beverly is part of a small group of girls and boys that enjoy the works of muggle artists. They listen to the radio and talk about new songs and old songs alike. Most of the time it's just an excuse to get together with friends and have a good time.
Appearance:
Beverly is a small girl with a very big personality. She is five foot tall and weighs a little bit over one hundred and twenty pounds. Giving her a round, plump, and joyful face. Her skin tone is a soft cream color. However, she can tan very easily, and often receives a more olive tone during the warmer seasons. Her hair is naturally brown and her eyes are a soft green tone that can appear blue in the proper lighting.
This fashionista adores new fashion trends and tends to be risky with her attire in both color, pattern, and style of the time. Her mother lets her wear makeup on special occasions and she most always choose bright red lips. She is well developed and enjoys letting people know she is a growing woman.
Most people would describe Beverly as a quaint and lovely young woman, she was always liked by her peers and fairly liked by her professors alike. Though, sometimes her back talking and aloof nature was not always the best in a classroom setting. The young girl has a bit of a sweet tooth, and has often been known to keep various sweets and snacks in her bag. Though it has gotten her a few odd stares and nasty name calling from some of the more fit peers, she makes friend's pretty easily. Her loyalty is true and steady; once you find friendship in her, you have a friend for life.
Beverly's habits include sucking on mints or candies and chewing on her bottom lip when she's nervous. She can't ride a bicycle or fly a broom very well, as it makes her nauseous with motion sickness. Beverly enjoys sweets, plants, short skirts, experimenting with makeup, the colors: red, black, and yellow, and making new friends at school. On the other end of the spectrum, the young woman dislikes uniforms, people who don't laugh at her jokes, waking up early when there is nothing to do, chores, and being away from her mother for too long of a time.
Backstory:
"A young woman always has three things with her, do you know what those things are my darling?"
Beverly looked up at her mother with her large, round bright eyes, "Is the first one candy?" the girl questioned, her tummy grumbling as she watched her mother cook up dinner that night, a cackle came from the woman's lips, she wiped away her joyous tears as she shook her head at her one and only daughter, "No, my darling you must have class, ass, and sass." Beverly nodded, and repeated, "class, sass, and ass. Momma I got it- now when is dinner?" The woman shook her head once more, "Not now my child, go play and I'll call you when it's done." The two had just moved to England from the states, after Claudia (Beverly's mother) was left by the father of her child. Her parent's insisted on coming back to England so they could help take care of their daughter as well as their new and only grand daughter.
Beverly was named after her grandmother on her very strictly pureblood mother's side. Her father (Who Beverly was told was Elvis Presley) was a muggle and supposedly was only really around for Beverly to be conceived. This may have gave Beverly a bit of a prejudice against some muggles, but because of her kind and forgiving nature she tends to give everyone first and second chances, and because he made great music. Beverly's mother a pureblood (Claudia Scott) with little to no help from her parents raised the girl, and taught her (Or atleast tried) to be hardworking, dedicated, and patient, even when things are overwhelming. Before going to Hogwarts she lived in a small one bedroom apartment with her mother, and didn't have too many glamorous things. Most if not all of her school supplies are second hand to her mother's.
Extra:
Slightly allergic to her cat. Truly believes her father is Elvis Presley. Gets motion sick very easily.
The sun shone bright through the windows of the corridor as Beverly's played diligently with the ring on her finger. A good friend had given it to her for her birthday this year her final year of school, and she hadn't taken it off since. It didn't matter that it was tarnished and turning her finger a dull shade of green where the ring rubbed against her skin. It had meant more than appearance, it was the symbolism of it all. Symbolism meant a lot to Beverly, sometimes things of the least valuable had the more importance- and vice versa. This is why a piece of paper was what Beverly truly desired, but more importantly she desired the truth.
Pacing back and forth, it wasn't a real surprise that the Room of Requirement appeared for Beverly. She had never seen it with her own eyes before, but for some reason it seemed familiar. The rays of light shining on it like a sign, an answer, a ray of hope. Beverly looked towards both ends of the corridor before approaching the door and placing her hand on the knob. She turned it diligently and walked in, closing the door quickly and quietly behind her. Inside laid a piece of single piece of paper, on a dusty pedestal. Beverly took a deep breath, she so desperately wanted to look but for some reason her feet would not carry her forward. It wasn't every day that you would learn who your real father was.
Updated history slightly to point towards why she would be in England and not the states. - Also just about to upload the photo; let me know if that's better! :) Thanks
Just found out that photo set for that model was when she was 18 But I did find a picture from when she was 16 or so I believe so I can switch it out if it's an issue!
@MissCapnCrunch Awesome - love what you've done with my boring character sheet! Just a few points: - While I love the picture you've used, I understand the model is 22 years old. At a stretch she could be passable as a teenager, but not sure about 15-years-old. If you could find one of her looking a touch younger that would be great, but until then I think I'll let it slide. - An explanation for why she was born the States but came to England will be needed. Other than that, what an amazing character. Loved what you did with the writing sample, it was a really original idea that I hadn't even considered could be possible.
Right on! I was thinking about this too- figured since it's set in the 50's and women seemed to be a bit older looking back then (I don't know why it seems like that to me, maybe because of the clothing and hairstyles) that it could fly- but i'll look around to see if the model has anything of the younger persuasion- if not, like you said ^^; we'll just let it dangle.
I'll figure out why they ended up in England :) and add it to her history. Thank you!

Outgoing. Absent Minded. Traditional. Over Dramatic. Silly.
If you're looking for a silly time filled with laughs, Giovanna is your girl. She is always looking for fun, even during the most mundane events- like grocery shopping. Very friendly and outgoing, wanting everyone to join in and be having a good time. She's an amazing party host and first in line for a good time. However, life isn't always fun and games and when it hits Gia she breaks down and becomes very dramatic and over reactive about everything. Every problem is always world ending when it comes to Gia.

H I S T O R Y "Estar a sombra da bananeira."
Roughly translated into "sitting under the shade of a banana tree" but to the Portuguese, it means that you have no worries. This was the type of attitude Giovanna was raised under. Born to Juan and Natalia Santos in the city of Manaus, Brazil. They lived in the country until Gia was about six years old and then they came to America settling in the Bronx of New York City, of all places. They brought along Gia's older brother, two younger sisters, and her Grandfather on her father's side.
The Bronx wasn't exactly the America that the Santos family had envisioned, so they packed up and left again to Manhattan. Here they made it along just fine, getting a small home and making it by with basic jobs. Gia was spoiled endlessly by both her parents as much as they could offer. She very rarely was in trouble, or told that she couldn't do anything she set her mind to. School was a challenge to the very absent minded Gia but with her great group of friends she knew she could make it through.
