Appearance:
Barbara is petite, standing at around Five foot three and weighing anywhere from one hundred twenty to one hundred twenty five pounds. She doesn't work out too often, but does a lot of walking and heavy lifting at work. She also does some dancing on the weekends which helps burn off the calories of the fast food she mostly eats. Babs has sandy brown hair and blue eyes, she hates her nose but wouldn't go as far as having plastic surgery to "fix" it. Her clothing style is very much comfort over fashion. She will be mostly seen around with plain sweaters, shirts, jeans, leggings, and sometimes on a special occasion a dress or two. She loves her Timberlands- being originally from New York she has several pair and considers them a staple in any outfit. Barbara doesn't have any predominant scars or markings across her fair skinned body. She has a single pierced lobe on each side of her head and no tattoos as of yet. She plans to get one when she can save up the money for it after finishing school this summer. She wears glasses for seeing, and not just for fashion.

Perfect Date:
My perfect date? Something outside during the fall or even the winter. I'm not the most athletic person, but something a bit more active is way more fun than just sitting around. I might get a little caught up in taking shots of the memory so you'll have to bring me back now and again. I know they have so many better technologies than this piece of crap, but I kind of am a traditionalist! Make me laugh, make me cry. Just don't be boring. I need someone who can keep up with me, since my mouth and brain are always on the move.

Worst Date:
I don't have time for small talk, and I don't have time for the usual. While dinner and movie can be fun it shouldn't be considered a date but just a thing to do every once in awhile. If you talk about only yourself and can't take a moment to enjoy the date, then I don't see it going very well into the future.

Skills:
  • Photography, and other creative outlets.
  • Makes friends easily.
  • Not terrible at dancing.
  • Street smarts, and some book smarts.
  • Can tell you what or what isn't a good pizza.

Brief History:
  • Parents met in Washington. Got pregnant.
  • Parents divorced. Mom met new man through off brand TAP program.
  • Moved family to New York.
  • Grew up in Brooklyn, well rounded life.
  • Started college, and got into the work force.
  • Mom encouraged her to start her own family.
  • Signed up for TAP.

The Story

"You talking about pizza like, you don't think I know about pizza?"

The Brooklyn raised girl retorted to her coworker as they sat together at lunch that afternoon. A look of disbelief on her face, but in a playful way. "I was raised in Brooklyn, I know about pizza. It's in the freaking water." she commented, as her coworker laughed. "Barbara you're ridiculous." she said as the two giggled. Babs continued to fold in half and eat her slice of pepperoni pizza that she had got from one of the heaters in the convenience store. It was not a very good slice but it would suffice until she could eat later. She thought about what she was going to make for dinner that night for her parents and her.

She reached to her phone that sat on the table, sending a text to her mother while she thought about it.

Cant wait to see you two looooosers. I love you. Ttyl.

Sending she looked up to her co-worker. The two exchanged friendly smiles, continuing their lunch as normal without many more words spoken between them. After finishing her pizza, she wiped her hands with an napkin and tossed the paper plate they had given her in the trash. Crumbling the greasy used napkin along with it. She went back to the table and grabbed her cellphone and walked back to her cash register where she would start again on her so called job. After a few hours of this she clocked out and went home.

While setting up dinner for her parents, Barbara's mom showed her the advertisement for the program.
"Absolutely not.
Babs said, shaking her head. Her mom automatically retorted, "What do you have to lose?!" It was true, she didn't have much to lose- and her dating game hadn't been the most successful as of late. "Frank and I met this way kind of, and it worked out for us." this much was also true. Barbara, swiped the advertisement- sending it to her own personal phone. She would check it out later, and maybe join.

Maybe.

{INTELLECT}
[2] Lou has never been considered the smartest person on campus, but he isn't below average in any means. He does well in most of his classes, and usually falls somewhere between a low A or B grading score.

{SOCIAL}
[4] Despite being on the odd side, Lou doesn't have any trouble talking to strangers like he has known them for a long time. He sometimes overshares things and can make people uncomfortable with his lack of consideration for personal space. However, when you get past his quirks he's a really good friend to have on your side.

{NERVE}
[1] Lou is VERY suspicious and absolutely hates anything that has to do with the supernatural or ghosts. He sleeps with a night light and requires his feet to be tucked up and under the blanket. He scares easily and doesn't like when people sneak up on him.

{ENDURANCE}
[1] With the love of food, comes a little bit of love of the couch. Lou is not in the best shape, and doesn't like to waste his time working out or keeping up with anything that involves too much work. He does enough running around the kitchen to consider any extra work.

{AWARENESS}
[4] Sometimes you have a piece of spinach in between your teeth and Lou will make sure you are aware of this. He likes to point out a lot of things that are going on in his life, your life, the situation and many more. He notices when things aren't quite right. This trait has helped him when he is seasoning a meal more than once.

{RESOURCES}
[1] Lou lived a fairly lower class life; he received a scholarship to attend Upper Lake Institute and wants to make sure he uses it to it's fullest potential. His remaining family is relying on him heavily to succeed, and he will have to do solely on his own.

RE-SPINE ME. SANCTIFY ME.
MAKE ME YOUR SWEET PIECE OF ART.

"They are to be chewed and swallowed an hour before sexual intercourse and should last a few hours.."

Milk smirked, she always swallowed. "Thank you sweet Hemlock. I appreciate this more than you know." she cooed, taking the parcel in her hands and slipping it into her clothing close to her chest. She would make good use of this. Whether it would be shared with another or kept for herself, would be a decision for later. With that, she departed from the shed, but before she could get very far- a black material wrapped around her ankles and legs, and continued up to her thighs. Milk's mouth gaped to scream, as the human figure embraced her with it's multiple vines. This material was familiar, but she had never seen it like this.

Soon she was yanked to the ground with a sickening thud, her body appearing light as a feather in the grips of The Maelstrom. Milk was not a weakling by any means, but this creature had strength BEYOND any man. From the shed came Hemlock, her voice eager to hold no fear against this beast. How could she not fear this monster? How COULD she not struggle as the putrid smell of plastic and slickness of his entrapment tightened more as she struggled, "Help me! Help me!" Milk screamed. The creature covered her mouth, wrapping tightly around her airways. Milk panicked, the thud of an arrow landing into the monster with a direct hit.

He released his grips ever so slightly, and Milk found her second strength. She began ripping at him, using her teeth to rip and bite through his grips. Tilting her head back to the shed she heard Hemlock cursing Sparrow.

Sparrow? Her savior had come.

Hemlock could also now be seen in the corner of Milk's eye fleeing the scene. Damn that Hemlock. Her childish head was far too gone, finding companionship in monsters and rituals rather than her own flesh and blood. She regretted in that moment for being so nice to the woman, bitter and upset. "Sparrow!" Milk groaned, as she got herself untangled from the beast. She scrambled to her hands and knees as she crawled quickly away, getting up and out of the way as she ran towards Sparrow at her personal full speed. Her body was covered in scratches and abrasions from the struggle. Reaching Sparrow, she wrapped her arms around her, burying her head against her.

She lifted her head from Sparrow, and looked to the monster, "What is that horrible thing?"
