As Kassy seemed to panic, Harry stepped closer towards her, "hey, hey" he said, to direct her attention to him, "it will be okay." He met her eyes, and didn't loonaway. Despite the immunity Kassy seemed to have to his abilty, As well as anyone else, Harry didn't often meet people's eyes for more then a few seconds. "We will figure something out! You don't have to be afraid." He said, trying anything TK reassure her, but knowing he wasn't doing a good job

The voice of voices seemed to laugh, 'you can't do anything, Boy-o! You can't even help yourself!' he refused to react, except to think Harry. My Name is Harry Everytime the voice spoke, Harry at times felt like everyone of the people he had...copied were pressing on him. His name helped.

"We...we could look, but that...seems foolish...maybe we could make another one?"

Kassy stared at Harry's eyes, as long as she dated. She watched his gaze dart, and felt his mind wavering. "Whatever you're hearing is wrong, Harry. You know that, right?" She clasped his hands and squeezed them gently. A lot of the students didn't like the touch of her hands. They were very cold and unnaturally smooth, a clear sign of her inhumanity. Still, she figured Harry needed something kind.

"I would love to be able to make another, but I don't know how this one was made." She was afraid to take it off, honestly. Everything in her told her not to. "I'm not sure what to do. Perhaps I can... call home." There was a weird feeling in her head, a dull pressure at the base of her skull. "I don't know." She winced and rubbed the back of her neck. "I want to sit."

Kijani rested herself against Connor's chest, shuddering slightly. "I know. I know I am, but... the blood. I thought I was over the blood." Apparently not. She'd barely gotten to the garbage can in time to lose her breakfast, and hadn't touched anything but water since. "I'm tired, sometimes, of myself. I just-" Exhaling, she pulled away as a familiar tone rung through the air. "That's yours."

Kassy has been told that they help her keep her humanoid form longer. Basically keeping her from going all mermaid after a few hours.

Kijani looked at the fresh omelette, and then shook her head. "I ate earlier. That one's all yours." She hated to lie to him. She did so a lot less, but at the moment, she didn't trust herself to take a bite of anything and keep it down. It would be easier to tell a little fib, rather than explain to Connor that she'd tapped into some live security footage at the school. The images of the school brought to rubble and dust, and what she knew was blood on the ground... She could smell it, even now, even though she hadn't been there. Fighting a sudden wave of panic, she took a slow, deep breath. She kept on trying, desperate to keep it together.

When she felt a bit stronger, Kassy pushed herself to the edge of the water orb, and then put her hands through. She came through the rest of the way, letting her tail go back to a legged form. Her balance wavered a bit while she stepped, but she recovered. "Thank you, miss." Bowing to Estella, she smiled weakly and ran off to stand by Harry. Now that she was hydrated, she reached reflexively behind her ears. Behind one was a small metal disc about the size of a dime. Behind the other...

"Uh oh. Uh oh." She felt fear run through her like ice water. "I-- I lost one of my... my helpers." Her orange eyes looked toward the mass of rubble. There would be no getting it back, would there? Now what would she do?
