One of my characters is Amanda Waller's granddaughter. That was fine, so Nick Fury counts as well. My girl does have a power though. Nothing too fancy. You should consider that.

Kassy shut her eyes when the small metal disc was removed. Tipping her head, she rubbed the empty spot behind her ear. She couldn't remember a time that she didn't wear them. "Hm... I suppose I should get to a bath, I'll start to revert eventually. I don't want to-" Suddenly, she felt like her head was going to split into pieces. The pain came on her like a high-speed migraine.

"Aaagh!" She hit the ground on her knees, clutching her head and screaming in pain. What was this? A side effect? She clenched her eyes shut, shuddering. "Wh- what's... happening..."

There were images in her head, now. Flashes of things she didn't know. A lovely woman with white hair and a tail like hers, a bald man kissing her cheek, a warm hug and- Who were these people? She felt like she should know them, somehow, but...

"Help- someone h-help..."

They kept coming, faster and faster, images and sounds and feelings. A whole world underwater, then rooms of children. Pain, fear, keep safe, she had to keep it out- White clothes and metal, and over and over in her head, she was the future, she was the new beginning, she was alpha, she was alpha, she was... was...

The pain or the images overwhelmed Kassy, and she succumbed, dropping into unconsciousness.

Kassy was surprised when Sebastian came up to claim the wriggling wolf. She barely had time to greet him, and was just about to ask about his summer when the announcement sounded. He looked as lean as ever; she'd have to push herself extra hard to keep up with him. Before she joined the swim team, competing was something she'd never dreamed of being able to do. Now she was rather proud of it.

"Bye Sebastian, see you soon! We'll catch up then!" She waved at him, amused at the pup hanging off his neck like a furry scarf. Without further distraction, she headed for the auditorium. Maybe they could get her a new uniform sometime during the journey. What was this mysterious trip, anyway? She knew no one but the teachers would know, since it had happened earlier than even the senior students. Not seeing any teachers to ask, she got to the auditorium and settled onto the bench, smoothing her skirt over her thighs in a self conscious manner.
