Devika was getting better and better at being sociable without getting overwhelmed. Sure there had been an incident last week where Roxy had to clear the shop, but no one seemed to be angry at her for it. She was sleeping better, and slowly trying to coax Roxy into being more friendly. That last bit was quite a trick.

J had come by 2 weeks in a row, to tutor Devika on the computer. She could tell they sort of had a crush, but Devika wasn't interested back. This didn't stop J from teasing and flirting, something Devika was having to get herself used to again.

One day, while she was reading, Devika felt an unusual surge of rage from somewhere in the apartment. "Roxy?" Who else would it be? She started to go looking.
Even after Slade silently arrived, Jinny just let herself cry for a while. It felt good, somehow. She hadn't cried since this had all happened. At one point, she finally started to talk.

"I miss them. A lot. I had a dream about them, and it was really nice. And then I woke up and it wasn't true, and that made me really sad." She paused, shifting with obvious discomfort. "Thank you for bringing me here, Uncle. I'm happy you did. But... I'm sad you did too?" It was the most she could explain at her age. Tears started to drip again, and she grabbed her favored doll and started to cry more.

Once her tears ran out, she looked up to him and asked an odd question.

"Do you have any crayons? I want to draw pictures." Her dark eyes were pink and puffy from crying, and she still looked worn out from her botched training session earlier. "My head doesn't hurt anymore. I promise." Right now, she had the overwhelming urge to do... something. Even if she wasn't fully sure if drawing pictures would help her feel better, she just had to do it.

"Maybe we can draw pictures together."
I think that 2 weeks would about do it.
Android, chrome. Is there something up with it?
That makes sense. I'm for it. I can't think of anything else for them to do, myself.
For some reason I haven't been able to access the site from my phone. Glad it's not dead.
I'm back... bitches
That took longer than I wanted, but it's up.
With Wraith's directions, Mirage started to head for the top of the boat. Once she got there, she didn't see anything. "Hmm... there's got to be a way." Then she had a brilliant idea. Reaching for the staff lashed around her waist, she pulled it and set it standing upward, with the octopus facing the sky.

With an effort of will and a summoning of the magical runes etched all over it, Mirage started to summon a stream of water from the seas outside the ship. The runes lit a soft, glowing blue as she did so. The water spiraled up and on until it was obediently waiting in a large sphere in front of her. There were some small lake creatures and some algae in it; maybe she'd pulled too deep. Oh well.

"Up!" Mirage commanded. The orb of water shot upward like a rocket, whistling through the empty air until- SPLASH!

It hit something. Mirage watched closely as the ship took form briefly, a void in the water as it started to come down. "Gotcha!" She pinged the spot on her communicator. The flyers would have to do the rest. "Found the ship!"
J smiled, seeming wistful. "Yes, I did. Life is nothing without lessons." With a cheerful whistle, they went over to the paint cans and looked them over. Hauling up a rich plum purple, they carried it to Roxy. "This one, if you please." And then they returned to Devika to talk computers.

The conversation started simple enough, with basic parts. Monitor, tower, speakers, so on and so forth. Then it started to get more complex, as they talked operating systems and programs. At one point, Devika left and came back with a notebook, starting to write things down. J was a good and patient teacher, going over things and answering any questions Devika had.
