@Bitterblue111 Yes, please reserve a spot. And thanks for changing the dragon thing. Now I know what kind of character to play.
*drums fingers* Me too, that's the problem. I will think on it.
Hm. I'm not sure if they're going out to dinner, or if they're staying in and cooking. Devika could handle a quiet restaurant at this point. nothing too crowded.

Kijani raised her eyebrows as Yoda said that Adam would not be trained. "But - we came all of this way. Both of us, just for your training. Why won't you train Adam?" She was very confused.

Yoda looked to Kijani. "Trained, Adam is. Practice and application, Adam needs. Sleep, I need." And he shuffled off to his bed, leaving the two to their own devices.

"...I guess that's that. Apparently you don't need a teacher anymore, Adam." She wasn't surprised. Adam was an excellent Jedi, in her (admittedly limited) opinion. "That's good, isn't it? And he knew your father. Maybe you can get some stories out of him." Adam had mentioned his father before, but they didn't really talk about it. The death of Kijani's mother, and planet, was like an open wound some days. It was just a tough subject all around.

"I guess... we should sleep outside." Luckily, they had dismantled and taken the tent. "It's too cramped in here, I think."
I thought the invitation was implied? Give me an hour to edit ny post. I'm on the way home.

Ok, edit is done. Now they are both officially invited inside.
Chocolate and coffee are both made from beans.

I'm considering a dragon. Mostly because I've never played one. Do all dragons breathe fire in this world, or could I have, say... a water dragon?
What kind of races are available?
There we go! There was more but I wanted to give you plenty of reaction space.
Devika nodded. “Good.” She went up and knocked on the door.

After a brief moment, the door was answered. Behind it was a short, slender woman with black hair and warm brown eyes. “Devika! My baby!” Devika’s mother enveloped her in a hug, without the slightest hint of delay.

“Mom!” Devika was taller than her mother, and had to crouch a bit to properly hug her. She was grinning ear to ear, and there was a subtle sense of warmness all around.

“And you must be Roxy. I’m Mara Jones. Welcome to our home.” She held a hand out for Roxy to shake. "Both of you, come in, come in!"

“Where’s Dad?” Devika was looking around. They started to move in and away from the door.

“In the study, he had some emergency casework.”

Devika shook her head. She’d heard that story before. “Daaaaad!” She called out loud. “Get your workaholic butt down here and greet your daughter!”

There was a sound of footsteps on stairs, then Devika’s father appeared. “There’s my girl!” He was much taller than his wife and daughter both, and had a neatly shaved bald head and glasses. He too, happily hugged Devika.

If Roxy was observant, she might notice that Devika didn’t look much like either of her parents.
Not your fault. I've done some thinking and I think I know what I'll do. I hope to have a post for you tonight.
