Alright, that makes sense. I'm writing as we speak. Since I've had my break I've been writing nonstop. Like 2000 or so words yesterday and even more today. Should have a post for you soon. Stick around if you're able.
Not a problem. I'll probably have something up between today and tomorrow.

What kind of classes would HIVE offer?

There's definitely a stealth and spying course, so I can intro someone special, but I am not sure what else there would be.
I liiive! And I have the next two days off. Hit me with that post whenever it's ready.
Plot twist, lol
Jin was tense. She missed her bow. All it would take was one clean shot through the eye and this horrible person trying to start up a war would be dealt with. Of course, she had never killed anyone before. She had killed animals before, much to the distaste of Bella. But she was certain in her heart that she could kill in defense of her beloved family.

"What should we do, Father? I mean, Anna and I. We can't just stand here." At least Jin couldn't just stand there.

*rolls around* I want to post but I also want the ballroom scene to move forward.
Kijani was surprised that he had come all this way for something that could have been said from a distance. Maybe he wanted to prove his seriousness in the matter. All she could do was respond with the truth.

“It is worse than they say, Prince Eskel. The small things don’t make the vids. The constant loss of life and livelihood of the smaller rim planets, the subtle propaganda takeover of the common channels. The Empire is everywhere, and more insidious by the day. If – ”

She shut her eyes, centering herself. “If you really want this, if you’re truly ready to wage war, you have to know that this will come first for me, always. Once my training is complete, I fully plan to head back to the seat of the Rebellion and bring the Empire down with everything we have. It has to be soon, otherwise…” There was the usual twist in her stomach. “There will be more Alderaans, and worse.”

She stared him dead in the eyes, subtly reading him. What Yoda had discovered was that she could glean surface thoughts and intentions from people if she focused on them, and had been doing that the majority of her life without training. He admitted that this was not something he could fully train her in, but gave her as much guidance has he could.

“I will ask you to search your heart and soul. If you truly mean for this union to work, you will also have to wage war. It’s not about resources, it’s not about being a figurehead. I will be asking you to do battle, in person. I will ask you to fight. I will ask you to kill.”

“Prince Eskel, please take the evening to determine what you truly are capable of, and do not give me an answer until you have.”
Mara pouted very slightly as the server vanished. “Kids these days. Never want to hear about the philosophy of food shortage.”

“Mom, I don’t think anyone wants to hear about that.” Devika slid into the booth. “Especially not someone working minimum wage.”

“You see, Mara? That’s the human factor.” Tim cut in, grinning.

Mara started up again, eyes bright. “But the facts clearly indicate-”

“Guys.” Devika shook her head, but she was smiling. “Please, cut it out. I’d like to eat without a debate. We’re in public and we have a guest.” It looked like she was trying not to laugh, despite her words.

“Roxy, if you ever wonder where I get my stubborn side from, it’s from both of them.” She started in on a little more food.
