@WindsOfFate You could always have an arrangement with my pants-wearing archery sniper princess who'd rather be a prince?

That is if they get chosen to pair together.

Location: Haly's Circus
Interaction: The Team via text

Kassandra, trying to wipe off stage makeup in her dressing room, texted Zach back after Daphne’s response.

Mirage here! Thank you for the compliment, Zach. I am surfing the seas, I feel so giddy! I checked the Contortionist’s room after speaking with her. She seems off, but not in a Kobra evil kind of way. More of an everyday evil kind of way. Also her room is very messy. I found ropes and… lacy underthings on the floor. Maybe she had some kind of fun night?

The screaming reached her ears then, and she rushed out to meet it. Chaos reigned inside the tent, as people and animals ran around. The first pony nearly ran straight into her, and she fell over while dodging. These kelpies had 4 metal feet, which made them very dangerous. They were also a lot wilder than she'd ever seen a kelpie be. As if they were terrified by something.

“Land kelpies, fantastic…” Kassy muttered, quickly getting to her feet. Maybe she could trick the crazy kelpies away from the fleeing crowd. With a burst of will, she created a massive illusory wall between them and the humans. If only she had her staff! She could have made it a real one. The other problem was while this was in place, due to how large it was and how many beings she had to deal with, she could barely hold onto any other illusions. Even now she could feel her fake face flickering under the magical strain. It was working, but wouldn't last forever.

"Where are the others?!"
Yeah, we'll need one of those.
Jinny raised her eyebrows at Mikron’s assessment of the mechanics teachers. Maybe once they were settled, she could ask her uncle to go back home and get some of her best work. She desperately wanted in that class. “Good to know – and you’re so lucky to have seen Luthor for real! I’ve only ever seen him on the internet. I guess he’s just as smart as they say.” She did not know what zero space fields, or a friction space generator were, and at this point was too afraid to ask. Research was in order.

When Mikron called Slade “one-eye” Jinny went very slightly pale. Her eyes darted back and forth between the two males. She knew the look of irritation on his face, and it was never a good thing. It meant trouble. That look meant laps around the training yard until her legs fell off. For once in her life, she desperately wished to be telepathic, to convey to her second father not to ruin this for her. Luckily, she didn’t have to. He seemed to have let the comment slide. For now anyway.

She knew he wouldn't be forgetting anytime soon.

“I’d love to go! So far everything is kind of normal. If it wasn’t for all the metahumans, I’d be sort of bored.” She smiled cheerily, and looked up at Slade. “I’ll see you later, okay?” Was this making a friend? Maybe so! Even if he was an older boy, he seemed very cool. Also they spoke the same mechanical language, which was great.

“Where are we going first?”
Kijani kept up the offensive, driving forward with as much speed as she could muster. Eskel’s guards fell at her feet, though she tried to leave them crippled but alive as much as possible. “Eskel! Prince Eskel! Shout if you can hear me!”

She had a burn on her arm from where she’d misdirected a blaster bolt. It had gone straight through the sleeve. Her heart hurt from all the destruction around her. And she was almost desperate to find Eskel alive. If he was dead, how would she explain it to his family?

Then again, he could be in on the whole thing. Though he seemed so kind and thoughtful, she wouldn’t put it past anyone. Someone from Eskel’s ship had to have informed the empire. Why not start at the top?

She ran through steel corridors, dropping guards with flashes of her golden saber. At one point, she was stuck at a crossroads, metal paths all around her and no indication of which was correct.

“...I am one with the Force. The Force is with me.” Kijani slid her eyes shut, trying to block out sounds of boot on metal, of blaster fire, and the roaring of one still pissed off beast outside.

Something in her said left, and so she went. The ship seemed to be getting fancier. Fine carpets, small sculptures and decorations. This had to be Eskel’s corridor. A sign on one of the doors confirmed as much, and she bolted forward, shoving the door open with a wave of power.

“Open fire!” Said one guard. They did, to very little impact. Kijani deflected bolt after bolt, getting closer.

“Bad idea.” Kijani darted forward, and in two quick slashes, both guards fell. She stood there, shaking for several moments, before coming out of it and kneeling to Eskel.

“Prince Eskel, it’s me. Hold still.” She removed the blindfold first. Then she started to search the guards for a key.
Jin landed on their butt for the second time today. If it even was still today. Soreness overtook their body as they got up. “Ugh. My poor ass.” They muttered under their breath, rubbing their aching backside. The three of them seemed to be unharmed, which was good enough. Jin had really thought they were going to die back there. Still, this could be out of the frying pan and into the fire, so their hackles were still raised.

The tiny demons showed up before Jin could speak. They were sort of cute, in a misshapen way. Like an ugly baby. One of them ran off saying something about “Gloriousness” in a way that made Jin very nervous for no discernible reason.

“I hate to even ask, but what fresh fuckery is this?” Jin looked to the two women, eyebrows raised, knowing they didn’t have answers but asking all the same. “Hey, you. Little thing.” Jin slowly approached the small demon, leaning down as if to talk to a child.

“Where are we, what are you, and who is Her Gloriousness?” Their dark eyes bore into the bulbous ones. “Answer in that order, please.”

You did an awesome job! I love the lore.

I'll get my character sheet as soon as I can find it.

EDIT: OMG I didn't catch the Queen because I was on mobile! I love her and will be posting up Jinayah shortly. Still looking for a picture though.

How do you feel about changing the Queen's name though? I looked up Fiona out of curiousity and it means "fair" or "White" which is... yeah.
Origami leapt high over the broken Badnik that had very nearly knocked her down. That had been far too close. The jump took her up to a sturdy branch, one she spun around to land neatly on top of it.

“Well, well. Rouge the Bat. If it isn’t the biggest waste of talent in the business.” She looked Rouge up and down, and then smirked. “All the drive, all the skill, and you waste it working for the government. Pity.” She tapped her chin, looking down at the robotic carnage below. “I didn’t expect to find you and Murderbot-3000 here, but perhaps I should have.”

She smiled, but there was a chilliness in her eyes. “Let me not be rude. I am Origami.” She swept a gallant bow. “I’m going to assume you’ve heard of me. As for what I’m doing here? Simply getting ahead of the competition.” She did not stop watching Rouge, that uncanny red stare boring deep. “It’s good to know my suspicions were on the mark. These bots don’t build themselves, do they? The Eggman lives.” For a few seconds, she watched Omega do his (it’s?) thing, then returned her attention to Rouge.

“Where’s the third one? Don’t you usually work as a team, or some nonsense?” Her eyebrows quirked up.
