  • Jack
Jobs - I could see him in domestic, helping out with heavy lifting and what not for Miss Sally. Recruiter, Trainer, and Security all look like things he could be good at too, from his cop background.
Skills - He'd love to learn Russian, so there's that. I could see him also learning more about how to cook and whatnot, maybe? I dunno. He's very much just wanting to be as helpful as possible.
  • Chloe:
Jobs - Medical probably for her. She might work in the Medical Garden as well, not sure.
Skills - Hmm....Not really sure what she might try to pick up on. Probably a bit more self defense? Not quite sure here.
  • Beatrice:
Jobs - She could likely adapt to anything. However, from the job listings, she might be good as a trainer or a recruiter. Whatever works though!
Skills - Maybe plant identification, as to be more self sufficient? She's almost like Jack, open for about anything.
@Nallore Once everyone has relations up, so hopefully Saturday! Tag me here when you've finished your relations (@Witch Cat, @Pundii)
Time to get those new characters ready :P
@Pundii Looks good. You can list 'Visions' as a general skill if you want to, but that's up to you. Room 113, Aloise'll be in there as well. :P

Expect a PM with your reward for completing Abandoned Hope!
@Nallore Your characters will have been in town for no more than a week already. Anything more specific than that is up to you. ^^
@Nallore Looks good! Can move her over.

@Pundii@Nallore@Witch Cat: Andromeda's CS is up, sorry for the delay! Remember, you need to get working on those relations sheets as well.

At Millicent's words, it was Virginia's turn to raise an eyebrow. Was the date not the 17th of March? She supposed that it was possible that she had lost track of time, and that dear Alfred usually managed her schedule for her. Perhaps she had been mistaken. At any rate, she felt a slight pain of regret. She had not spent the day with her dear friend. Though, Virginia was aware that they had very different ideas of festivities. After all, she had gone to a public hanging on the day of her birth.

"Then in two days time, do keep your schedule clear," Virginia said, with a slight twinkle in her eye. "We shall celebrate your unbirthday. I shall have Alfred prepare something extraordinary...I do not believe there are any executions scheduled for that date, so it should suffice."

Virginia did sense that Millicent didn't wish to discuss it further, of course. She smiled slightly as Millicent crept to the door and peered her head out, reminding her of a mischievous child attempting to escape the watch of its parents. Of course, Virginia had no true qualms with setting out herself to fight the soulless. Alfred would keep watch over James, but her friend had little experience with fighting the ethereal. And she could not in good conscience leave Millicent vulnerable to the darkness. Her friend was built for the light.

"A reasonable plan, no doubt," Virginia replied. "I shall send word to the Sister as well. She would be well advised to avoid those grounds this evening as well." Once Millicent had left the room, Virginia would then follow her, minding her steps as to not create a din.

Nora Kingston

Location: Garden City - Apartment 301 Maratos Building at No.6 Walda Pasha

Nora took her seat on the sofa, Spot eagerly leaping up and sniffing at her hand. She smiled slightly at the intelligent creature, and ruffled the fur on his head ever so slightly, as she continued to sort through the mail. The paper had been delivered, written entirely in Arabic. Despite her lengthy stay in Cairo and her interest in decoding the language, she could not read it without the help of mathematics. And so, she glanced at the paper for a moment, before setting it aside.

"Perhaps you might be better suited to reading it than I," Nora whispered to her dear dog. She spoke to him more than she did to most people. A dog never concerned itself with social conventions, and nor did a dog accuse her of bringing shame to the family name. She then picked up the post from England. Her sister Emmaline had wrote her, letting her know of the family news. It was mostly trivial at best, detailing the pursuit of wives for her unwed brothers, and the maintenance of domesticity for her sisters.

However, the papers from London provided something perhaps more interesting. It would appear the Lord Captain had become the talk of the ton, with gossip and rumors circulating his valiant escape from the clutches of the Germans. Some speculation included his ties to the Lady Munn, and Nora smiled coyly to herself. The papers seemed to have been correct in their theory that he had headed to Egypt. And it would seem that the Lord Captain intended to make a wife out of the Lady Munn.

The pair did seem suited for each other. Nora herself did not pay much attention to the eligible bachelors of England. For she could not bear a child--no man could ever want her. And Nora was not too certain that she could ever bring herself to want any man. She operated best in solitude. The world could continue turning without her, and it would not bother her in the slightest.

Iris Kingston

Location: Justice Asylum For The Criminally Insane: the Ludwig Building

Iris nodded a bit, making mental notes of Cynthia's appearance. She wasn't telling Iris everything, that much was apparent. After working at Justice Asylum long enough, Iris picked up a few tricks. It was a dangerous job, of course, but Iris enjoyed it. She liked doing her very best to help those abandoned by society. It was far better than an idle life.

"That must have been hard to talk about," Iris said sympathetically. "....Valentine. Anything you say stays between us, I promise. I won't even write it down in the file." And to show her honesty, Iris put all of her pens and such away in a drawer. Yet just as Iris was about to ask Cynthia if the mysterious visitor called herself Valentine, the phone rang again. She huffed slightly, and smiled an apology at Cynthia, as she picked it up.

"I'm sorry you're having to deal with this," Iris replied to the clerk. She was a psychiatrist--she knew the ploys people used to manipulate others. Imposing a time limit was a classic one, with this entire "now or never" business. And frankly, it left a sour taste in her mouth. She was here to help Cynthia, however she could. If Cynthia decided of her own accord to leave, so be it. But she wasn't going to throw a patient out of her office for a mysterious man from the internet.

"Please inform Mr. Relic that his demands are understood, but I cannot and will not abandon my patient," Iris replied. Her responsibility was to Cynthia--and not to him.

Dorothy Pender

Location: Engine Room

Dorothy pursed her lips slightly at Lionel's squawking. Now, she did partially feel like smacking him upside the head after his tirade of swears and curses, as he reminded her almost too much of her father. But bedside manner was bedside manner. "Go see if anyone else is wounded," Dorothy asked, not bothering to look to see if Lionel would help as she crouched down in front of Gideon.

"I'm checking you as well," Dorothy explained, shining the light in Gideon's eyes and moving it slowly. Those who suffered from a concussion were generally light sensitive, and their eye movements were abnormal, in that there was either no response or a highly irregular response. After a few moments, it was evident that Gideon had a concussion as well.

"Second thought, Lionel, best be that you stay with him," Dorothy instructed. "Make sure he doesn't fall asleep. He's got a nasty concussion, but should be okay. I'll need to go see if anyone else is hurt--with a landing like that, I'd be surprised if a concussion is the least of our troubles.

Assuming Lionel consented to watching Gideon, Dorothy would then make her way out of the engine room, looking for anyone else in need of medical attention, her medical kit at her side like always.
