Scarlett Cromwell

Location: Community Center
{"Have fun in hell, bitch!"}

The agent didn't seem to be getting along with the program. Maybe it was because he was new to Silver Falls, but that wasn't the attitude people normally had when talking with the Scarlett Cromwell. A look of disgust flashed across her face momentarily, before Scarlett once again replaced it with the facade of the grieving friend. Truthfully, the reason she was here was to see who in town had the balls to kill Lucy and to personally congratulate them. Perhaps kill them for doing what she had wanted to do--but congratulate first. Kill second.

"Scarlett Annalise Cromwell--yes, I am related to that Cromwell," Scarlett said, smiling playfully at the detective. Her great-grandfather was famous. If the agent didn't know about him, then as far as Scarlett was concerned, he didn't have any business as a detective. "I'm eighteen years old, if you can believe it~! As for Lucy, my bestie, the Chanel to my Estée Lauder...I moved here when I was seven and some have said that was the day Lucy Taylor was made. We were practically sisters--inseparable since Girl Scouts." Scarlett sighed wistfully. Lucy was dead now, so Scarlett could say whatever she wanted about her. Lies and truth, it was all the same now.

"I saw her last getting off a bus from Tacoma," Scarlett said, wrinkling her nose in disgust. Tacoma had a less than desirable reputation. It was the druggie shitshow little sibling of Seattle. "As for boys...Well, Lucy didn't swing that way. I know, gross. But she was my sister, so I loved her anyways. It was the least I could do."
@dreamingflowers Erm, Guin isn't messing with any of the control panels.

Jack Hudson

Location: Building F (The Newnans' House)

Jack wasn't sure exactly why it was pertinent exactly what he had heard Dick say, but he wasn't going to argue with Tatiana about it. To him, he heard a voice from a dead asshole and that was that. It was time for him to be put in some sort of isolation where they kept the crazies. He didn't know practically anything about psychology--most of what he knew was just from watching other people lose their grip over the years. Death tended to mess with your head. That was about it.

"Dick said...The voice said that Ash was lost. Asked how I was gonna keep you safe, gonna keep Newnan safe from Eden. Called us Mistah and Misses Cleavah," Jack summarized. It felt a bit awkward to talk about this, while Ray was simultaneously talking about his feelings of being a burden. Ray had concrete reasons for these sort of psychological issues. But Jack, Jack felt a little bit ashamed. Maybe it was his old days as a cop, but back then, people didn't always talk about these sort of issues. They were kept quiet. At least Dick's voice seemed to be doing the same. He hadn't heard him since that first time. Maybe that was a good sign.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Near 545 Corinth Rd, Newnan: In the woods. (Not far from the Coweta County Water Authority)

Beatrice was feeling a bit irked with Gavin. Yeah, she had seen him up there taking stock, but James was right--he never said anything about it. For all Beatrice knew, he was only about halfway done with it and stopped once the phone call happened. But at any rate, it was busy work. She was feeling a bit more exasperated with these people with each passing second, but she also had no intention of going back to Newnan. If she split off from the group, then she'd make her way north some, see what happens. She hadn't been looking for Newnan in the first place and it had turned up. There were two settlements in this area at least. She'd find another if she wanted to.

However, Beatrice paused in her tracks as she heard the plan. Gavin and James wanted to take down Eden singlehandedly? She chuckled a bit at the thought. There were four of them. They'd need a small army and a tank to even have a chance against Eden. Even if they managed to hurt Eden, Eden'd just end up hurting Newnan back. They'd regain their strength. Groups like that, it wasn't enough to attack them from the outside. They usually had to end up crumbling from within as well in order to actually become just a memory.

"I hadn't intended on dying today or tomorrow or the next day," Beatrice mused, before getting herself ready and climbing into the truck after James. "But I suppose dying with you assholes is as good a way to go as any." She was certain they'd all be dead in a week.

Chloe & Ravi

Location: Building One (Medical) ---> Building 6 (the Armory)

Chloe noticed the way Niesha was gritting her teeth. Yeah, that definitely convinced her that Niesha was emotionally stable enough to go on a run. She reminded her of the girls who pretended they weren't going through detox in prison, only to end up thrown in solitary a few days later with additional time put on their sentence for using. They were always so prideful, attempting to save face. Ravi was clueless as to the relationship dynamics here, practically awkwardly standing by as glances were thrown at one another. He felt a bit relieved when Froggy suggested that Chloe, the other red head, take him to the armory to get a knife.

A knife that he wouldn't be using--but that wasn't something he needed to mention. He had managed to avoid taking a life for four years. One little run outside the walls of Newnan wasn't going to force him to face his fear. He had hardly spent any time in Newnan to begin with. He was still accustomed to surviving out there.

"Come on, governor," Chloe said, nodding a bit at Froggy before heading out. "Let's go already."

It was a brisk walk across the street and through a parking lot, one that consisted primarily of an awkward conversation between the two. Chloe didn't know much about Ravi beyond his accent and Ravi didn't know much about her, beyond the fact that she was supposedly an expert at finding veins. Either she used to be a pro at drawing blood before or she was an addict, he figured. It wasn't entirely uncommon for medical professionals--they had access to a fair deal of drugs.

"I'm Ravi," Ravi said, as a way of introducing himself.

"I know," Chloe replied, about two paces ahead of him.

"I was a medical examiner," Ravi then added, smiling awkwardly at the ginger.

Chloe stopped for a moment, raising an eyebrow at him. "Again, I knew that already."

Ravi awkwardly rubbed the back of his head, as Chloe started to walk briskly once more towards the armory. She definitely had an attitude to her, that was for sure. She probably had some bad blood with Niesha, Ravi figured. It'd explain a lot of what had happened after Miss Sally died. However, he couldn't also help but notice that she was rather pretty.

"So what did you do?" Ravi asked, attempting to get to know her.

"Crime."

Dorothy Pender

Location: Merchant Area ---> Newhope Docks

Just as Foy was surprised with Dorothy accepting his arm, so was Dorothy surprised with the mild comfort his words gave her. An event to her that seemed to be a gigantic failure, worthy of resigning, seemed to not shake Foy's foundations nearly as much. She followed him at the brisk jog when indicated to do so, still mulling over what he had said. It was true--she had given it her best shot. She wasn't capable of doing anything more than her very best, just like with her patients. There were some people that just couldn't be saved no matter what was done. The Alliance had taught her that lesson long ago, but evidently, a refresher course was needed.

"I owe you an apology, Foy," Dorothy said. "I've misjudged you."

As she slowed down as well, Dorothy raised an eyebrow at the ship where the Retribution had been. Either Anisa had moved the ship to a new location or this was their new ship, she imagined. Either way, it was likely for the best. With the mystery woman who had snuck on board, changing things up was best in terms of security. They'd likely have to take increased measures still though. As far as Dorothy was concerned, the mystery woman was an Alliance spy. They could all be caught and then tried for treason and some of them for desertion as well.

"Shiny. Hope this is the new ship," Dorothy commented, taking it all in. If the ship had just been moved, it'd be a bit of a pain trying to find it. It'd stick out as an Alliance vessel, but she didn't like the idea of having to walk up and down the docks to find it. She had things to take care of: giving a punishment to her sister and then having an honest conversation with Anisa about whether or not she was really fit to be second.

Fitz Townsley

Location: Merchant Area

Fitz nodded, though he did feel a little crushed. Each person today that he had met and felt a connection with had ended up turning him down. He supposed it was to be expected--Royus had suggested he try the docks in the morning when people were ready to leave--but it was a bit disheartening as well. Biding farewell to Royus, Fitz slipped the game carefully into his bag, making sure that it fit and wouldn't get damaged in the process. With that done, Fitz left the Toy Store and looked around a bit.

Everything seemed pretty similar to how it was before. A leather worker's shop was closed for lunch, there was a clothing store for men that seemed to be pretty busy, another store (it looked like it sold dresses?) had a sign on it that it'd open up later on. None of the shops really enticed Fitz, though it didn't hurt that most of them seemed to be closed of the ones he noticed. He didn't need any additional clothing and he didn't feel a need to wait around for leather or dresses.

Making a decision to try the docks again later, Fitz decided that he'd keep on exploring Newhope. Maybe the third person he ran into would be the one to help him get on his way to adventure. Maybe it'd be the fourth or the fifteenth. Either way, he owed it to himself to at least try. He'd come this far that it'd be a shame if he didn't.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: La Hacienda - Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Cecily nodded, thinking over what Natasha had said. A patron saint wasn't too weird of a thing for a priest to have, she supposed. Her family wasn't religious, but she was vaguely familiar with the concept of saints. It made everything make a little bit more sense, so until something suggested otherwise, Cecily decided she'd just accept Natasha's explanation.

Glancing up at the knock on the door, Cecily could barely make out a person standing there. The torn jeans and leather jacket reminded her a little bit of the "tough" kids from college. Of course, it took her about a minute to realize it was likely their chauffeur on the other side of the door, judging by the voice. She must've been the priest's daughter then...How did a priest have a daughter? Cecily's eyebrows furrowed a bit in confusion. Weren't priests supposed to be celibate and all? She wasn't sure if that could be explained away as easily as a patron saint, but there likely was some explanation for it. There always was one.

"Yeah, we're...decent," Cecily replied.

Iris Kingston

Location: Justice Asylum

Jaina squealed with delight. If her hands were free, she likely would've been clapping them together. Strawberry dole whips were her favorite and she couldn't remember the last time she had had one. That was definitely one of the downsides of being in an asylum--the food sucked~! But still, no one could take her happiness away from her. Smiling sweetly up at the doctor, Jaina then nodded vigorously.

"Don't worry~! The doc and I are gooooooood friends~!" Jaina said, before cackling some more.

Iris felt a little uneasy, but that was natural she supposed. She had played ice hockey in school and she knew how to fence. Between those two skills, she felt fairly confident she'd be able to manage herself. And as long as she kept a healthy distance from Jaina, she didn't feel like she'd be in too much danger. Someone needed to keep the patient calm, at any rate. "I've got this. If you could send an orderly by with her file, that'd be appreciated however," Iris said. She needed to do a bit of reading on her patient. Maybe then, the Russian words would make some sense contextually.

Nora Kingston

Location: the Museum

"At-a em kshat-ten; aru-a em kshent-a; nuk un rekesh-eksh-eth; teseriu hra-sen er-a. Nuk unv!" Nora said, her eyes a bit wide with terror once more as she spoke not of her own accord. The experience was still as terrifying as it had been the night before. A new fear was slowly beginning to engrain itself into Nora--the loss of control over her own body. While she had been crippled by sickness before, she still was able to determine the actions she took. But with this, some ancient tongue felt as if it temporarily controlled her, causing Nora to utter words that she was clueless as to their meaning.

Nora was as in the dark as Lauren was when it came to the languages of Egypt. She spoke Irish and English. Anything more than that required careful hours with a plethora of reference texts, just in order to decode meaning from various symbols. Despite living in Cairo for well over a year, Nora had not picked up the native language. English had sufficed thus far and she far preferred to focus on her studies of mathematics in her minor capacity of an assistant to her father with his work.

"I do not understanding this language either, Lauren," Nora admitted, wishing to show a bit of solidarity with her friend. She had known Lauren longer than she had known anyone else currently present.

Guinevere Stark

Location: Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters
{"Heroes are made by their choices, not their gifts."}

By the time Guin arrived at the garage, Nina seemed to be (mercifully) silent. There were a few newcomers, but Guin had had Siri read the basics of their files to her on the drive up from New York City. In many ways, it was entirely silly. She had been rushing out to Upstate New York just a few hours ago and now, now they were all about to drive back. It was poor planning, but with five? six? seven? energy drinks in her veins, she figured she'd be fine. Besides, Guin imagined that she'd be helping with security systems and the likes. While she wouldn't mind fighting the Brotherhood members, she knew that strategically, she'd be kept away from combat.

She was "fragile" after all. Both she and Cassandra were. They were the only two on the mission that this virus was deadly to. Anyone else here, as far as they were aware, would be perfectly fine if exposed. Listening to Marygold's words, Guin smirked a bit when Pietro came in late. For someone with super speed, he always did seem to be running late. Assuming that they both survived this, she'd have to tease him about that later - hardcore.

Of course, she couldn't help but be excited with the car. Part of her was jealous that Hank hadn't shown it to her, but Guin understood why that hadn't happened. Still, she was as curious as Pietro seemed to be about all of those buttons. It was what she loved about science -- it was basically just pushing the buttons of the universe, in order to see what happens. "If you push some random combination and we get killed, I'll kill you," Guin joked, taking a seat inside the car. "By the way, newbies! I'm Star--Agent Stark. I'm a squishy human, but I'll be able to assist you with science, tech, and chemicals. So far, my success rate with not blowing up labs is 100%, which is a great qualification to have," Guin said, messing around a bit at the end.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: Inside Town Hall

The stars seemed to align. Jenna managed to pick the cockroach off of her arm and she tossed it aside. She could hear Finn and Dec finally leaving Town Hall, meaning that she'd have a chance to poke around and get some decent answers. For the ghost of someone who had been brutally murdered just hours ago, Mayor Ryder was being fairly cryptic. If it had been her, Jenna likely would've just been explaining all of the details of who killed her, how, and why.

Instead, Mayor Ryder seemed to want to lead her on a tour of Town Hall. Fantastic. Spotting the air duct, Jenna crawled underneath it, making a mental note to roll around in the dirt some once she got to the coal mine. She was going to look like crap--might as well use it to add to her story. Emerging into what she assumed was the records room, Jenna couldn't help but smirk slightly. Of course this was where Finn had gone. Jenna wasn't really sure why she expected anything else from her. However, there wasn't time to stop and reminisce about friends--Mayor Ryder was on the move again.

Following the mayor into his office, Jenna was relieved the door was unlocked. She didn't have some of Finn's skills when it came to breaking and entering. Raising a bit of an eyebrow at Andrew's gesture, Jenna wasn't sure if he got the point of someone who could see ghosts. "I can hear you too, you know," Jenna said softly. She didn't want to be overheard, just in case someone else happened to be within earshot, somehow. "This is way more dramatic than it needs to be."

Still, Jenna made her way over to his desk and began to examine it.
