Virginia Crypt

Location: Gretna Green
Skills: N/A

Virginia's eyes darted around the area of Gretna Green proper they were in, before she managed to formulate a plan. The shops had some wares on the outside - rope in particular. If they were able to tie the rope to two sturdy posts, then they could hopefully force the horses to come to a halt. Of course, they'd have to work incredibly quickly and there would be no time to debate the finer points of it. "Take the other end of this and secure it to a pillar on this side - I'll take the far side and do the same. It should slow the horses," Virginia told Ny, as she grabbed some rope from the supplies in front of one of the shops. She held out an end to Ny, and assuming he took it, she then sprinted across the road.

She didn't make knots on a regular basis, a regret of hers since her parents had spoken of some rather intricate ones that had interesting descriptions. However, she hoped that she would be able to get her end of the rope securely fastened to the pillar. If she was unable to do so, it wouldn't matter if Ny executed his portion of this plan perfectly, but she had to have faith in herself. It was one difference she had noticed in her religion as compared to the more traditional religions of the Brits. Whereas they placed their faith in the higher powers, hoping for a miracle, Virginia knew that the Dark Mother was not going to intervene for every little thing. She had to have faith in herself, that she was capable of such a task.

Maeve Brennan

Location: House Kirkpatrick - the Parlor
Skills: N/A

Maeve nodded at Lady Kirkpatrick, supposing that she knew better than her when it came to these matters. If reading and writing was not required for this skill, then so be it - though Maeve still felt in her gut that those skills would make the matters of forgery far easier. Yet then the Lady Kirkpatrick gave her explanation, detailing her own experiences and Maeve's hesitation went away. Once again, the Lady Kirkpatrick seemed to have come from an eerily similar position as Maeve and defied all the odds. She nodded again, already determined to master this - if not for herself and these matters, then at least for Roisin. "Thank ye, m'lady," Maeve responded. Lady Kirkpatrick didn't have to do this for her. Lady Kirkpatrick had already done more for Maeve then, well, almost anyone in her life had before - the only other person being her late husband.

"Aye," Maeve answered, taking the glasses and going to refill the drinks. She continued serving Lady Kirkpatrick a strong drink, figuring that the strength of her drink ought to match Lady Kirkpatrick's personality. She went and handed Lady Kirkpatrick her drink, before doubling back and fetching her own, just as there was a knock at the door. Had Millicent or her fiancé returned? If so, it was a good thing that the Lady Kirkpatrick had burned the original letter. Instead, it seemed to be a peeress - Maeve didn't recognize the surnames or the woman's father's identity. The woman then started asking about the very individuals who had been there earlier, but Maeve didn't say a word to respond. This entire situation was of interest to Lady Kirkpatrick and Maeve didn't want to mess up her employer's designs by revealing information to Colette without Lady Kirkpatrick's say so.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Grimm, Indiana (Police Station)
Skills: Deduction, Marvel Universe Knowledge

Cecily continued to think, drawing on her deductive prowess and knowledge of Marvel villains. She was trying to create some sort of profile, but instead her brain got another thought, especially after it seemed Roy had no luck on the phone. They could always go to the home where Tinder's family had lived, it would give them more information and help them to narrow down the suspect list. Sure, they didn't have an address but she doubted a small town had a lot of Tinders running around, and there was a phone booth nearby.. It would have an address book, right? "Let's try Tinder's place, I'll go see if the phone booth has his address in the book," Cecily suggested.

Getting out of the car, Cecily walked on over to the phone booth and went inside. She started flipping through the phone booth, finding the address for the only Tinder in there and she texted it to Roy. She figured that would be the easiest way for her to just not forget it. A few seconds after she pressed send, her phone started to ring - Riley was calling. "Riley? Hello?" Cecily answered. She left the phone booth, holding the phone to her ear as she got back into the car and turned to Roy, mouthing it's Riley to him. She was a bit anxious to hear Riley's voice, really hoping this wouldn't be one of those calls where all she'd be able to hear was breathing on the other end. It felt like a lifetime since she had talked to her roommate and potential love interest. "Are you okay?" she added quickly.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Main House - Room 101: Sitting Room
Skills: Alertness, Occult History

Andromeda was drawing on her skill base as she contemplated the earthquake and its potential causes. She doubted it was just a coincidence. There were a lot of occult beliefs that essentially predicted the world would be ended by quakes. Yet at the same time, she recalled that some occult practices mentioned that earthquakes were connected to necromancy. She really hoped that there wasn't an army of the living dead or anything of the sort outside. At the very least, she was able to conclude that this quake wasn't the end of the world - though it could still be connected to it, just sort of as the prelude to an apocalyptic symphony.

Neither Giouse or Sophia had answered her question as to whether or not they felt the quake as well. Her heart was pounding a bit and her pride was starting to get to the better of her again. Sure, she was trying her very best not to dwell on the past and all, but she just had this sense of urgency. "I'm going to go look outside, see if there's anything going on," Andromeda told Sophia and Giouse. She hoped that one of them would go with her, but she wanted to see what their surroundings looked like. She had died thanks to damaged time and she didn't want to repeat that, especially since quakes had never happened inside the loop before. And as someone who loved both logic and the bizarre, she figured going outside to get the bigger picture might help. "Maybe we ought to all go look together - or just Sophia and I can."

Buddy system and all.

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy (Mental Link), Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Investigation
Guin could sense Allison's growing irritation, but she wasn't in the headspace to empathize too much with her. There had been an assassination attempt on her fiancé's mother, someone Guin was rather close to. Even if Allison was somehow proved right, that didn't make any of this less real to her. Even if it was all just happening inside of their heads, it was real - even Dumbledore had said as much in the Harry Potter books.

She bit her lip slightly, hearing Pietro's responses. Her hands shook. Do you want me to come back to the Palace? she inquired. No Guina, stay there where it is safer, I don't want to risk these guys still being here when you return and don't want to risk you getting hurt. Guin nodded slightly, it was a bit of a force of habit. Okay. I'll be here with my grandfather. Be careful, okay? Okay, don't worry, I see one of the ones responsible right now. ....Kill the bastard. He might get a public execution tomorrow.

Taking a breath, Guin shook her head at her grandfather and Allison. "No, let's get those tests done. If the Human Resistance is there, it's not safe anyways," she replied. They were already down in the lab and she went and got everything set up for the brain scan. It essentially looked like a standard set up for an MRI - a giant open tube of sorts that Allison would be able to lie down and stick her brain inside. Guin fetched a small vial of a dye and injected Allison with it. "We're going to do a PET scan to eliminate some possibilities, I just injected you with a dye that'll allow us to do that. Of course, we're doing an MRI as well and... Gramps, anything else you want to look at?" Guin asked.

She didn't really know what to think about Allison. She knew that she could do another telepathic sweep of her brain, but she trusted the scientific tests more. If Allison was telling the truth, then there were troubling implications. Would she be able to trust any of the members of the Royal Family? Was this reality better or worse than the one they had before? She felt like she'd need a degree in philosophy in order to sort out the moral dilemmas that Allison's claims brought on.

"When you're ready, lie down and keep your head still. Do not talk," Guin instructed her friend.

Casper Theriot

Location: Outside - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
"... They can see me," Ben muttered, astonished and not sure if he believed it. As a ghost, he didn't dream, otherwise he would have chalked all of this up to a nightmare. Maybe Casper had found a way to share his dreams with him? No, that didn't make sense, Casper had never been able to do that before... but then again, he also hadn't been able to channel Ben into the real world. Casper had turned the intangible tangible.

"Jackie does not seem nearly as stunned as he should be," Casper informed his friend. It must have been normal for him to be able to do this sort of thing in this world. His arms were shaking a bit from the effort, but the blue glow didn't leave his hands and Casper had zero idea how to turn these things off! It was a bit strange, hearing Jack try to negotiate with him. Usually, this sort of talk was reserved for whenever David and Val went nutty and there weren't enough inhibitors around. Then there was the cliché serial killer, yelling at him and calling him a drug addict. At least it was true.

"Hey Ben, I have an idea," Casper said, after Mary dealt with the vines.

"Yeah?" Ben asked, turning his head to look at Casper. He still had his tentacles wrapped around the other three.

"...Hulk smash?" Casper suggested. While he hadn't ever met the Hulk before and neither had Ben, they both had watched plenty of YouTube videos. There were tons of them featuring the Hulk going crazy and flinging things around. Ben seemed to get the idea and he released Jack and Mary. Hopefully Jack would be able to get the nice, yet still slightly cliché, Strawberry Shortcake seeming woman to safety.

Ben let out a bit of a scream and Casper gave him a look, before the ghost started flinging Chrysi around like a rag doll. He was trying his best to knock her out, but the ginger wasn't down for the count just yet. "...Well, there was bound to be some technicality difficulties, but you got this Ben!" Casper cheered. He figured if Ben didn't succeed, Chrysi would try to kill them all again.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: The Quinjet - Sydney, Australia
Skills: N/A
Runa's heart skipped a beat, seeing James' weapon pointed at Lance. Loki had to be behind all of this, in some shape or form, she was certain of it. Who else could do something so cruel and twisted? She silently cursed the God of Mischief, swearing to bring him to Asgardian justice once this was all resolved. Her hands twitched slightly as one of the agents raised the lamp, closing the quinjet, but she didn't perform any magic. "If Lance is shot or otherwise harmed..." Runa let the threat trail off. "My uncle, Loki, he may be responsible for this... This smells of one of his tricks, but his magic should not be this strong as to warp an entire realm..."

Maybe Loki had obtained the Reality Stone - Runa could see that working, giving him the power to do this. However, she had to wonder why he would set up a world like this. Was it to punish them all, by twisting their greatest desires into the darkest nightmares? She supposed it could be him, but she knew that her uncle desired a crown. He would have made himself King of the Nine Realms. But who else could it have been, if not Loki?

However, the agent had asked her to try to calm Lance. She didn't like the idea of moving towards him, when the one agent had his gun pointed at Lance. Against her better judgment, Runa walked slowly over to Lance and took his hand, giving it a squeeze. It was the most she could do and if the agents freaked out over it, well, the not-sorceress could explain she had made Runa do it, in order to keep him calm.

Meanwhile, Novikova was digesting what Cass told her. She had to put her disappointment in Niah's moderately anti-human and anti-inhuman sentiments aside. Wolverine was like her and he remembered both worlds, both realities - while both Tinley and Cass only knew the original reality. She had to assume that everyone else here was clueless. Tinley's response to her statement further confirmed what Cass had told her. Thankfully, no one here had the ability to hear thoughts beyond Tinley, meaning she could keep this information private.

"Agent Kennedy will get his," Novikova agreed. "Though... Agent Abercrombie, I did see something you would appreciate when I looked at the boy. I saw an amusing other life for him - one where he was a female engineer named Theresa." That was Sparky's real name. She didn't know who here could be trusted, but everyone knew that she had the ability to see alternate lives of an individual, giving her gazes into the different universes in the multiverse. Only Tinley and Cass would understand the implications of that statement. If Lance and Sparky were the same person, then since Lance Banner existed in their original reality, it meant that either he or Sparky had to have come from a different universe.

How that fit into all of this, Novikova had no idea.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Leda certainly wasn't going to volunteer to spend additional time in the company of Zeke and Kristin. The gods had already given her plenty of that and despite going on a Quest together, they hadn't gotten closer. They could work together and she knew they'd have her backs during a fight - she just didn't want to hang out with them otherwise. Kristin was a bitchy know it all and Zeke was an insufferable asshole. Leda of course knew that she was hardly perfect - she was impatient and reckless, as well as a bit two-faced. Awareness of her flaws didn't make them go away though. She did, however, flash Kiera a bit of a wink before she left. "Yeah, you will," she commented with a smirk.

Since Zeke was going for a swim, Leda didn't really want to go down to the beach. "I might as well go pop by the shrines, freshen up some of the offerings and all," she mused with a shrug. "You're welcome to come, Flower Child, if you want," she offered. Mary had been looking at her slightly when she said that she might wander around, which made Leda believe that the ginger wanted her company. She couldn't fault her for that - Leda was amazing and tons of fun to be around. Leda then started walking over towards where the shrines were kept at Camp Half-Blood, not using her speed in case Mary decided to join her. It did get a bit tiring zipping around everywhere and her stomach growled a bit. She'd need to eat a twinkie or ten.

Gene Benaszewski & Nora Kingston

Location: Athribis
Skills: N/A
Nora was a bit distracted, focusing so much on the mysterious things going on that Lauren asking her about getting a drink later threw her a bit for a loop. She couldn't quite remember what plans they had already agreed to - they had anticipated reconvening the Fellowship at some point, she was fairly certain, but she gave her friend a slight smile. Perhaps a drink would be a good change of pace, a way to reset her mind and allow her to approach things from a new angle. "I would like that - a drink might be what I need in order to take a step back and see the pattern," she told her friend quietly. It wasn't that she was hiding anything of course, just that she had a quiet presence.

Gene rolled her eyes slightly, as Lord Major made more comments about you Americans. The entire American-British rivalry was a bit pointless - not that she didn't firmly place her on the side of her fellow Americans of course. The British just couldn't compete! Of course, the more she concentrated on that tugging sensation in her stomach, the more confusing it became. She then looked at Mahendra, hearing him scold her. That was cute. "You really do not want to make me angry, hun," she told him, clicking her tongue slightly. "But it's cute that you think you can scold me."

Belladonna rubbing her stomach - Gene took that as a sign. She'd have to speak to her later when the others weren't around, but they seemed to be a largely unobservant lot. She couldn't help but still be excited though as they continued to walk along, the lighting getting lower and the sense of adventure and excitement increasing. Part of her wanted Mahendra to attempt to scold her again. She could use another bit of a laugh, especially since the Lord Major had stopped making jokes about the pitfalls of being old.

Nora then stepped forward, her earlier inclinations being supported by this development - the carvings resembled the ones they had seen at the museum. "If someone could produce a light, I would like to copy these down," Nora asked. It was getting hard to see down here. She pulled her leather bound diary and went to a fresh page, hoping to sketch these symbols and then see if she could do any quick deciphering of them. She did not speak or write this language fluently, but had some practice in deciphering them as long as she had her notes as a guide. Meanwhile, Gene was glancing around the area. Her gut was telling her that this wouldn't be the dead end it appeared to be. Maybe Lady Kingston would be able to shed some light on what the hieroglyphics meant and that would give them something more to go off of.

@Jasonhero Okies, move him over to the CS tab. You will start being tagged in updates, but he won't be brought in for 1-2 more updates. I will let you know when it is time. ^_^
@Jasonhero Okay, sorry for the slight delay, next round of feedback is here :)
  • The color code changes from yellow to blue - which one are you wanting to use? I think that blue color code is fine. It's similar to Fitz's but I don't think Agent Fitz will reappear in the RP.
@Jasonhero Okay, here are my notes!
  • This first one is super OCD of me but eh. It should all be on one line for the entries like name, birthday, etc.. So it should be Name: Roman Carter and not Name, then a new line, Roman Carter.
  • Is he related to Peggy Carter?
  • As Blue mentioned in chat, the Iron Man/War Machine suits are patented by Stark Industries and they have fierce lawyers, not to mention Tony usually goes and blows up the suits of any copycats (it's Tony, after all). So I recommend editing that out unless you want to deal with that conflict and I doubt Roman would want to.
  • Another super OCD thing, there's an extra line space you have with Habits and Hobbies. See the coding you did right below in the Fears section in order to get it to look right. ^^ (If you need help with coding, just lemme know)
  • In general world skills, driving a car/motorcycle would need to be broken up, as those are two very different skills
  • OCD again, extra line space you have in General Skills
  • In the what is on your person, delete the instructions for filling out the CS you have there. Same thing in possessions.
  • For what is on your person - I recommend giving him some clothes to wear
  • Missing something under the anything else. ^^
  • The color code looks a bit too similar to Wanda Maximoff's - for reference

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Beatrice nodded as Panama asked if they all knew how to play poker. It was pretty much a staple of card games - though she wouldn't have been all too surprised if Amelia didn't know how to play. The girl struck her as Strawberry Shortcake's real life counterpart. She raised a slight eyebrow, not so much at the Checkbook codename but at Wolverine. She wasn't too certain if she should expect a skinny geek or a muscular man with interesting choices in facial hair. Once Wolverine came into the room, however, Beatrice noticed that neither of her guesses had been quite right. She couldn't help but wonder if the kid with him was his daughter. She looked young enough to be his. He definitely had the face of a parent having to deal with a rambunctious teenager.

The first interview was the outspoken and gassy man from what Beatrice remembered - Wayne. She had to wonder if that was an interview strategy - let one loose, gas the room or space where the interviews were being held, and then end up having the interview cut short from the fumes. She at least hoped to not be called directly after him. She didn't want to have to plug her nose the entire time she was being interviewed, especially as she had some minor lies to keep up and didn't want inconsistencies in her story. She hadn't really paid any attention as the baby started moving around, getting mobile. Sure, it was a milestone for the baby but Beatrice didn't really care. She had no ties to the little one.

The next person she saw leave and come back from the interview took a little longer. She figured it meant then that the interviewers didn't just have standard questions to pull from - or maybe that some people were more long winded than others. Still though, she would have anticipated the gas master to take longer than Manny. The interview after Manny took even longer. Maybe the interviewers were just thinking of more questions and going shoot, should've asked that to the others! then? Hank took the longest by far.

"Looks like I'm next," Beatrice mused after Erica returned from her interview and her name was called. "I fold," she said, getting up and heading out with Panama. She was gone for an hour and when she came back, Beatrice looked to be in a slightly better mood than when she had left. She returned to the card table, hoping that the game was still going on. It helped that she had had something to take the edge off - though she was practically all edge anyways.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

By some combination of Froggy trying to read to him and all of the people going in and out for the interviews, Jack realized that his son had had enough. The little guy wanted to be on the move and who could blame him? As Jamie slipped out of his arms and got to the ground, Jack assisted the little bugger, making sure that he didn't just fall and hit his head or something. He basically made sure that Jamie had a safe descent to the ground. At first, Jack walked a few steps behind his son, but once Jamie got to the bookshelf and found his mom, Jack knew that it was probably a good idea to give Ash his space that he needed. Jack walked away from the bookshelf, making sure that they'd have their privacy, but he kept an eye over there in case Jamie decided to reemerge and would need his dad to go get him.

It was a good thing that Jack was looking in that direction as something amazing happened - Jamie took his first steps. He didn't feel jealous of Ash this time. No, his mind was just focused on seeing his little guy start to walk and his eyes watered slightly. He felt so incredibly proud of Jamie. Sure, it was a small accomplishment but to him it was huge. His little guy was growing up and had taken his first steps! He really wanted to just go over and praise Jamie, to wrap Tatiana up in a hug, but that could wait. Barging on over and bothering Ash wasn't going to help. He hoped that Jamie going to Uncle Ash wasn't going to cause any problems, but he didn't think it would. Jamie was just a little sweetheart.
