@Mercenary Lord Well art imitates life so that could be interesting.

@NecroKnight Everyone starts mounted but if someone is dismounted they can keep fighting till they're out.

@Masterkeun It was a solid post, the only thing is that it's not good strategy to voluntarily dismount when everyone has a horse.

@Greenie Well desire would certainly fit her character, but then again no one in the main series is exactly content with their lot in life.

I understand, I'm going through some busy days as well, it's no trouble.

@agentmanatee What's your ETA on an intro post?

@Asura How's your sheet coming along?

@Greenie It's no good writing while tense, take the time you need

@NecroKnight There's no need to wait. There's literally hundreds of fighters, the vast majority of them NPCs, so there's not much need for me to direct you guys much if you're doing a collab. It'll be an opportunity for everyone to bash around for a bit with little story consequence. Though I am planning a final duel with Nightwing. All I can say is avoid killing potentially important NPCs haha.

@Mercenary Lord This should be interesting. Is he part of any organization or is he the leader of a house or something?

@Celeste No worries, as long as you're keeping in touch :)

IIRC every knight in Dragon Age was Ser. Serah was the equivalent to Sirrah, which is a form of address to one's social inferiors in those times.

Right now everyone's in a celebratory festival phase so she could just be part of the revels or accompanying the Tullys in the stands.

@Greenie Nobody is safe, not even the cats.

@Masterkeun But it can be agreed that something hinky is going on there; in the books at least.

@kingkonrad Yeah it's an odd feeling being a writer with control of the life or deaths of fictional characters.

@Asura How's your Greyjoy bastard character coming? Have you made a decision on whether you want a Dothraki PC?

@NecroKnight Accepted, welcome to the RP :)
@Masterkeun Oh right that theory. I don't think it's been confirmed though.
@kingkonrad I agree with that sentiment. The magic in ASOIAF, whenever it shows up, has to feel dangerous and otherworldly, beyond the comprehension of most mortals.

@Masterkeun Where does it say that wargs get stronger that way? Well we can see that even if the magic doesn't require a sacrifice, lots of effort has to go into it. The road to being a Faceless Man is very extreme for example; and mystics like Euron Greyjoy have to devote decades to the study.

@NecroKnight This isn't meant to discourage you or anything, I simply want everything to mesh well in the setting. Apologies if I appeared brusque.
@Masterkeun That's a matter of debate, warging for example. And the kiss of life.
@Greenie He's kind of like a less extreme Aegon 4.

@NecroKnight For future reference the character tab is for accepted sheets, applications would just go here in the OOC.

On to the sheet itself, I think it would be too easy to abuse. Making everything around her slower would mean she could basically steamroll every other character. Especially in a world focused on melee combat where one's ability to react quickly is the difference between life and death. Furthermore, while I can appreciate how a long line of bards might have mystical qualities associated with their voices, being able to slow down time seems completely unrelated to that. It'd be better to pick a different talent that would thematically fit better with singing.

I also find it incredibly unlikely that a passing greenseer, who are incredibly rare, would be inclined to basically enchant an item, which would be an intensive process, and then somehow that enchantment would tie into the person's special power. And again this isn't a setting where enchanted items are common enough where a minor house can get their hands on one. And I find it implausible that a noble House wouldn't already have a blacksmith in the castle walls.
@Gowi Oh I understand that. She was more of an unwitting beneficiary of magic rather than a practitioner. Like say, Victarion :P

@DrunkasaurusRex Kudos on the post. I like Malrik a lot as a character, he really feels like someone who could exist in the setting and the whole moment felt like something you could see in the main story. A lot of the decisions of the proud young people of the world often have big consequences after all.
