Oswald shook his head as his answer to Sapphire's question. "Honestly, I'm not quite sure my presence would be a good thing for my teammates right now. Cobalt...isn't going to be continuing his education at Beacon, and it's left us quite frustrated. I know Diamond's at least as upset as I am about it, and I feel like the two of us would just end up feeding into each other." It was a bit frustrating to be so off-center, but constantly trying to suppress everything he felt hadn't gotten Oswald far in the past. It was probably better to at least let himself feel this right now, even if he was doing his best not to let it take control of him.

He didn't notice Demetra and Sapphire's near-silent conversation, content to take a moment of silence and relax, before the young girl said something shockingly insightful. "That's...a very mature viewpoint to take. I've found that it's quite a bit easier said than done, unfortunately, but it's certainly something worth keeping in mind." Pausing for a moment to collect his thoughts, Oswald turned to Demetra and gave her a small smile. "Has your sister been telling you all about little old me? I'm flattered." He even chuckled for a moment before the inevitable coughing that came when he lost control of his breathing. So much for feeling better....

We partially froze it, Oswald snapped one of its limbs off, and we dropped a several-ton crystal on it.

BB is a grimm creature I made a while back for a mission I was running. It's basically Arakune from Blazblue, classified as a grimm. It's amorphous form made it a bitch to fight physically though for the sake of ending that crapshoot of a mission eh stuff was fudged. Anyways one of the things BB would have been demonstrated being able to do is disguise itself as a humanoid. Kinda sorta, since it's a manufactured grimm. You know, someone decides to think "Hey maybe I can make my own Grimm" and BB is the product.

I chose arakune because I felt he matched the general aesthetics of grimm: black, red, white masks. Granted it's not animistic at all (Unless you include ameboid), but as we could see in V4, there exist grimm who don't really look like animals such as the Geist and Nuckaleeve, give or take.

When I first saw the pic I thought it was a cross between Ruby and Arakune, though upon further inspection who the humanoid part is suppose to be.

Oswald frowned as Demetra appraised Diamond. She wasn't wrong, not in the least. Diamond was, at best, displeased whenever she had to be near Sapphire. Their argument on the very first day of class showcased just how different the two were. And yet, these two dramatically different students were probably the closest thing Oswald had to friends in this place. As sad as that was, Oswald wasn't particularly concerned about making friends at Beacon.

Something about Demetra bothered him, though. Something painfully familiar, enough to send a pang of hurt through his heart. The look she gave him reminded him of Blaine. So full of pain, so full of hurt. It was probably how he looked just moments before.

"Well, you're not wrong about Diamond. She's...We've had a rough weekend, but hopefully things will be a little easier from here out." Forcing a half-hearted smile to his face, Oswald gave Demetra a polite nod. "And it's nice to meet you too, Demetra. Your sister's been a good friend for me." Chuckling a little bit, Oswald nodded at Sapphire. "So, how have you been enjoying Parents' Day so far? It's been...confusing for us so far, I guess would be the right thing to say."
