Drowning was not the way Oli was going to go, he wouldn't allow it. There was a deep, primal fear to him, at the idea of dying this way, water being forced into his lungs, choking him and exhausting his body until he had to give up. There were few worse ways to die, in his eyes, and he wouldn't let it be how he came to pass. Centering himself, Oliver let his head be subsumed by the water, holding his breath, and concentrating. This wasn't real, and he wasn't going to let this genocidal monster convince him that it was. Kicking his feet upwards, his face broke the surface of the water, and as he opened his eyes, the world cracked, revealing Cardiff to him once more.

Seething with a kind of rage he wasn't used to, he charged Supergiant, brandishing the spear and thrusting it towards the villain. Missing by a hair, he found himself side by side with her. Thinking quickly, he flipped the spear around, and thrust it backwards, sinking the tip into her gut, before ripping it back out, and speeding off. That would, hopefully, free Strange of her control, and give him the chance to turn the tide of this fight. "Somebody get rid of her before she gets in one of our heads again." He almost snarled. He wasn't used to this kind of adrenaline pumping through his body, and it showed. He was breathing heavy, and his eyes were filled with bloodlust. This woman scared him, and he wanted her to never have the chance to do that again.

Closing her eyes, Elizabeth drew a deep breath. She could do this, she thought, it might even be a little fun, zipping through the air and all that jazz. Ripping the band-aid off, she kicked off the ground, and found herself in freefall for a short moment, before the flight kicked in, pushing her forward, and sending her flying up, instead of crashing down to her death. Taking a moment to take stock of the situation, she found herself ecstatic. This was cool, and if she had any say in the matter she'd be keeping this suit, wanting to be able to do this more in the future.

The roof was the goal once more. Get up there, threaten to use the nullifier on Galactus, and then Vegas. Easy as pie, the hitch, of course, was the Surfers trying to kill them on the way. That was something she could certainly deal with. Shifting her arm into a gun, finally seeming to get the hang of that, she took a shot at one of the surfers, and knocked them off their board. Grinning to herself, she punched the air in pride as she made it to the roof, and landed. "Alright, let's get this thing done, where do we point that nully thingy?" She asked. Things seemed simple enough, there's no way that, once this world eating threat saw it'd die if it tried to consume Earth, that it'd try to continue.

As the monsters were dispatched, Arthur pocketed his dagger and looked along at his fellow demigods. That honestly felt good, unadulterated violence against literal monsters. That was honestly something he never expected himself to do, but maybe this would be how he would process his recent emotions, by burying them in death and destruction. It seemed fitting for a son of Hades, and with how good he felt right now, he was ready to take it as an option. Power meant he could defend people, and make sure he never got hurt again, so that would be what he would embrace.

Looking over at Andy, he was glad she was safe, before saying, "Better stick to muffin's then, we can't be expected to defend the ship every breakfast." He teased, smirking at her. He too wanted to know what the schedules would look like, not only so he could know when he'd be on watch, but with whom he'd be. If it was with Andy, that'd be great, but if it were with Rebecca, that might give him a chance to start learning how to master his powers. He was considerably more excited to start that now, so the sooner he knew what everyone's plans looked like, the better.

Fading back into consciousness, he looked up at Tempest, and shot a smile to her, "Thanks," he coughed. He'd never been knocked out like that before, and now, with his body aching, and blood staining his clothes, he stood up, "Guess I'm really one of the team now, got knock around by a squid faced alien and everything." Immediately, he started scanning around for something he could wield to be useful in this encounter, and he quickly saw Raynor's blade, but decided that ripping a knife out of a dying man's hand would be a bad move for him, both tactically and as a matter of basic human decency. Instead, he saw something that would be a much more effective choice.

Giving another thankful nod to Tempest, he said, "I'm gonna try to save Strange, let's hope I don't end up being slammed into a wall again." And with that, he sped over to the spear, and grabbed at it, doubling over for a moment. This thing gave off some crazy kinda energy, and it was giving him the headrush of his life. Shaking his head, he continued forward, intending to disrupt Supergiant's concentration enough to free Strange. He still didn't know if he was a Skrull or not, but for the time being, he seemed to be on their side, and with the power these enemies had, he didn't care. As he approached Supergiant though, he blinked, and saw he was dead off from where she was supposed to be. Gritting his teeth, he started to run back at her, but then froze.

To Oliver, he immediately found himself submerged in water, nothing but the horizon and endless amounts of water surrounding him. Bobbing up and down in the water, he started panicking, not being able to swim, or even tread water. Freaking out, his body lashed around, trying desperately to understand what was going on, while keeping himself from drowning. None of this made sense, he had no idea what was going on, and now he was going to die. After a moment though, he figured it out, this was all so real, so much that, there was no real way to differentiate it from reality, but he knew that this creature he was fighting, was able to attack the mind, given what was happening to Strange earlier. With that, he was certain that, whatever was happening to him, it was all in his head.

Elizabeth shook her head at Fae's idea, "Nah love, patronus' is one thing, you stickin' yer head out to the death eaters is another." She loved Fae dearly, and the fact that she was ready to go out and kick some ass made her happy in ways she couldn't express, but she wouldn't be able to handle it if she lost her, especially to a death eater. Elizabeth already had a deep desire for vengeance in her, and she didn't know who she'd be if that got deeper through the loss of a close friend. "Stick in here for now, and get ready to sock it to one if they show their face anywhere near this cabin, 'right?"

In the mean time, she was slightly proud of herself for being able to summon her Patronus on the first time, where Paige had seemed to struggle. There was something to be said for having a years worth of experience on her, and even more for mountain of natural aptitude she herself possessed. However, her teeth gritted for a moment at Beatrice's question, thinking on her feet, she said, "You've never seen a cat before? I'll let you meet mine after this is all done, 'er name's Shadow, and she's just the fluffiest void around." Hopefully the promise of a fluffy cat to play with would scrub her mind of Fae's vulgarity.

Watching the others throw themselves out the window, to engage in a fight with this Surfer again, Elizabeth knew she had to follow suit. Running up to the jumping off point, she found she lost her nerve. She never considered herself scared of heights by any means, but this was something else. For one, there was a person of unimaginable power that was very determined to stop them, zipping around out there. For another, they were high up, higher up than she'd ever been in her life, short of being in a plane, ans she could see the ground from here. It would take a kind of borderline insanity she simply did not possess to jump off, even knowing her suit would stop her from falling.

On one hand, she wanted to fly, who didn't, after all. But Christ all mighty, if this wasn't the scariest thing she'd ever done, even accounting for the other batshit things she did today. More than that, she knew that she couldn't abandon the mission now, she had had the choice to split off and go to the hospital earlier, and like an idiot, she choose this instead. The consequence of that choice, it seemed, would be her needing to jump out the window of a high rise. Nervously, she stood on the precipice, watching the battle beneath her play out, trying to work up the courage to get out there and do her job.

Arthur looked on as he late sister delivered her message, unable to form a response. It hurt a lot to see her, more than he expected, but when Rebecca told him to stay, something snapped. Him being useless in that fight at camp was the last time he'd ever feel that way. His hands shaking, he drew his dagger, and exhaled. He was going out there, and he was going to keep these people safe. Running out to the deck, he looked out at the birds, ready to fight.

Almost on impulse, he tossed his knife up into the air for a moment, before it floated back down to hid hand. Once more, he put threw it up, only for it to stay this time, floating above his hand. There was something new in his eyes, a kind of fury that he hadn't felt before. These monsters wanted them? They'd have to take them by force. From his hands, the dagger flew and struck one of the creatures, before jutting at a right angle, and striking another one, making both of them fall dead. Returning back to him, Arthur held the dagger in his hands, a bit surprised at what he'd just done, but impressed nevertheless.

Shielding his eyes from the bright light, Oliver had a gut feeling that, whatever was about to happen, was bad. His fears were confirmed, as the squid looking alien introduced itself and invoked Thanos's name. Knowing that these people were bad news, he came up with a rough plan of what to do: attack, and retreat back. He figured he was fast, and even though he wasn't skilled in combat, the creature didn't look that strong, especially compared to the hulkish creature standing beside him. Thinking he might be able to cut the head off the the proverbial snake, Oli backed up, and then charged him down.

Closing the distance between the two of them, Oli thought for sure he'd be able to land a solid hit, but he stopped dead as this thing caught him, and with strength that surprised Oliver, tossed him through the air like a ragdoll. A look of pure fear crossed his face as he realized, there was nothing he could do to stop this. Bracing for impact as best he could, his eyes went wide as he smacked into it, feeling at least three of his ribs break at the same time. A howl briefly escaped his lips, before dying off, as his body fell limp on the ground, unconscious.

Eliza huffed at Artemis's warning saying, "Right right, counterpoint." She said, and stepped back from the door, pointing her wand outwards, "Let's do somethin' a bit more useful." She closed her eyes, and thought for a moment, summoning up the happiest memory she had: watching the sunset over the poppy fields from her childhood home. Nothing would ever be so beautiful, or fill her with such comfort as that. "Expecto Patronum!" She shouted, and, erupting from the tip of her wand, came a silver, beautiful unicorn, bristling and ready to run. Taking a step forward, she said, "Run out there and keep them death eaters from focusing, distract best you can." The unicorn charged out the room in response. In the mean time, Eliza pointed her wand at the door, and with a swish of her wand, whispered, "Engorgio!" Causing the cinder block to swell up this time, and block them in. Tilting her head towards Paige she said, "I'd say you should send yours out at well, whatever edge we can give the aurors is worth it."

Meanwhile, the unicorn ran out the room, and down the corridor towards to Engine room, only to find a single death eater being forced against a wall by a water jet. Pausing for a moment, it backed away a bit, not wanting to distract the auror by mistake. It seemed like they had the situation under control, and doing anything more would risk messing that up. The unicorn stood by the side, ready to charge at and try to scare the Death Eater if it got out of it's current situation.

Oliver looked at Tempest, on one hand happy that she found Thane, on the other hand unable to believe she didn't provide a last name. Deciding to take matters into his own hands, he tried to get into the hospital records on his own and find them, but was unable to get any concretre information without knowing Thane's last name. "Was there uh, any kind of surname in those records?" Oliver asked Tempest, hoping that would lead him to being able to get them some kind of information on how to track down the man. Unrelated, however, he gave a nervous, awkward look towards Cass, happy to see she'd joined them, but unable to bring himself to say anything to her, still ashamed of his actions.

As they waited for things to get a move on, he tried to make further use of himself for the other team, see if he could find anything that could point him towards "The Black Order." He figured that, if they were here, somebody might have seen them enter, but it seemed the Twitterverse was much more interested in talking about The God of Thunder's rock hard abs, and how fuckable that made him. That was depressing on several levels, even if he couldn't strictly speaking disagree with them. Awkwardly shirking back after Flynn's outburst towards Tinley, he supposed now wasn't the best time to tell them all he had jack shit.
