Well Raijinslayer used a weird tense in his post that while disconcerting to read gave the impression that the events had yet to happen which means I could have avoided them had I wanted to. Natsume Honnaji saying that the bone hand got me was definite and irreversible. In any case I'm in PM with Raijinslayer about it just don't close off my options before I have a chance to do anything.

Well I mean it takes a lot to phase him, he's been in some pretty..bizarre..situations throughout his life, also as someone who's biggest strength is the fact that he's a master tactician who can quickly alter what he's doing to best fit the changing situation he has to be able to face things like this without letting any of phase him and harm his ability to observe properly and act tactically.

@Natsume HonnajiI still don't see how an airtight dome could be made with magnetism with straight metal blades. Explain that one to me, please, cause it just doesn't make sense from where I'm standing.

Well before he made it he knelt down so he was sitting on his knees curled inwards, kinda like they had you do in school under your desk during an earthquake drill, and he isn't that big of a person so he didn't need to make a very large dome around himself..I suppose dome wouldn't be the right word as the shape they made wouldn't be a perfect dome but..umm..what would be the right word...more of a small pyramid maybe? Gah I'm not good with explaining things, also I edited my post, is that better?

The flames are too thick for you to see anything more than indefinite shadows inside and even if that wasn't the case I haven't given in to letting the bone hand take Dawn. You'll notice that Raijinslayer wrote it as a hypothetical of what would happen if Dawn was pulled under since I could still pull something out to avoid it. That's basically autohitting.

Just because Robin wasn't standing in it doesn't mean he wouldn't have felt some effect from it. And for the record the pillar hasn't died down. Not yet at least and Cody was basically right next to it. You essentially just said Robin walked into an inferno of flames.

It didn't seem like a hypothetical and Noone stayed how long the flame would stay up like that, I'll edit my post so he doesn't walk towards Cody

@Natsume HonnajiI'm sorry , but I doubt you can create an air-tight dome with simply magnetic control over metal, especially with only ten metals swords. I'm sorry, but that doesn't make sense, and also, even if you could do that, it's not like it'll be safe to get up shortly after since it's kind of in the air still.

Also, even though your character wasn't close, you should still right that your character felt the ehat of something cause, as intense as Prince made it sound, you should have felt it and felt some kick back from the shockwave that blasted out the weakened section of the dome.

First they aren't swords, they're thick metal blades, no hilts, no real design to them, just thick metal blades with sharp edged and a pointed end, they vary in size from the largest being thirty inches in length and about twelve inches in width, and the smallest being twelve inches in length and five in width so when he made the small dome which only covered his body it was able to be sealed air tight. As for the heat and the blast I'll edit my post so he reacts to it. You'll find out more about the blades and robe when you find out more about his history. Also the dome was mainly to keep himself from getting the dust all over his clothes and in his hair and such from the initial crumbling.

Well you said the flame pillar was able to shoot straight up and Robin wasn't exactly close to Dawn and Cody so he doesn't really need to worry about it.

Robin continued to watch the others in the small dome when suddenly one of the who had the grimmoire seemed to have snapped inside releasing a large flame pillar. The heat was pretty intense even from where he was standing and caused him to sweat a bit and with the release a blast of energy pushed a few inches back but he still kept his ground almost as if he was being pushed back by some strong man in a sumo style fight who gave up halfway through out of boredom. Following that a large bone hand came from beneath the boy and began to pull him under while the dark mage used the commotion to make good his escape. Once the dark mage was gone the domes Robin was trapped in simply crumbled away into bone dust and Robin knelt down, his blades forming a small dome just over him to keep any from getting on him, or worse, in his lungs.

After about a minute had passed Robin took and deep breath as the blades had separated and Robin had stood back up stretching out then looking around for his robe in the now dimly lit shadow dome. "Ah there you are my old friend." He thought to himself as he smiled happily as he spotted his robe and walked to it picking it up and waving the bone dust and dirt off of it before putting it back on. Once his robe was back on all the blades had floated back into their rightful sheaths inside the robe.

Robin took a quick look around to see how many other mages there were and if any were injured. He spotted the boy who handed over the grimmoire and tossed another sweet roll in his direction before turning away and beginning to run off. "Quite the odd series of events..maybe I should've just stayed in bed today." He thought to himself once again as he got out of the area where the domes were still holding his breath and once far enough away he let out a long deep breath before panting a bit. "I truly...hate...needing to..hold...my breath..like..that.." He then sat down against a building and began to catch his breath as he was light headed now from holding his breath a good two or three minutes, he wasn't exactly sure how long he had to hold it for.
